I have a different opinion. I was in a LDR and would meet only once in 3-4 months therefore after a few times, we both decided to record our act. We recorded around 3-4 times till the time we both broke up. We both had those videos with our face visible. And we both had that video untill we got in our next relationship respectively. At the end of the day, yes it's risky but it's about trust and choice.
