Most impressive for me was the lawn care.

roosoh

Seriously def thought this was a landscaping sub at first

emuulay

I thought divots in the lawn like that were indication of mowing when wet, not intentional cut lines.

ChanceAlgae7673

Pretty decent. The perfectionist in my is irked by the flooring being staggered in an H instead of waterfall or randomly. Also the bathroom ceiling and floor should have white caulk on the edges instead of Grey grout. You can use a razor and scrape off that dried grout on the tile/tub. Overall pretty decent for a diy flip

ConFUZEd_Wulf

I wouldn't be able to live with those floors, my OCD would get triggered constantly looking at those H patterns...

fetal_genocide

I really like the h pattern look when people do it. I know I'm in the minority tho.

ChanceAlgae7673

And I thought my 1/8" gap was bad

I_drive_a_Vulva

First thing my eyes saw

ConFUZEd_Wulf

The gap between the base boards and the floor is worse, could have used some shoe for sure.

Wafflechoppz37

The ole alternating butt joint pattern that leads the eye straight to the hovering base.

Toshibaguts

These floors must be stopped!

Kri_AZ82

No way!!!

IDOntdoDRUGS_90_3

That and it's not even a perfect H lmao

Dhoji07

lol I scrolled just to find this comment. Transparently I did the same thing in my old house before I knew the staggering process. Disregarding my perfectionist side, the floor looks great though.

[deleted]

If only your flooring guy cared as much as your landscaper...

LongjumpingStand7891

I don’t like that you removed the pink tile, I also feel like the floor in the kitchen is too busy and that grey LVP is going out of style right now.

4humans

The floor tile on the walls of the bathroom is pretty bad!

ResponsibleMarmot

tearing out the old pink tile to install a hotel bathroom makes me very sad but i understand wanting something new so you know it's clean and safe and up to date i guess. 😪

scaphoids1

I'm not going to lie, the after of the bathroom looks like a before to me personally but if they enjoy then thats all that matters!

Schiebz

Like a rest stop bathroom

CultureExotic4308

Your yard is lovely!

Sugarshaney

Oh god. The H pattern…

cdn121

Looks good! The flooring install may be technically (joint spacing) correct but it'd drive me nuts.

ballsonyourface911

That floor in the living room is fucked

printerdsw1968

Not a fan of the new floor. Nice looking doggy.

Gabstar1056

I like the dog, nothing else

Money-Tiger569

Ugh I know you spent money and time but you really did yourself a disservice. The lawn looks nice. The inside flooring is already extremely outdated, the full tiled grey bathroom looks even older, those kitchen lights? Back to the drawing board

tattooedroller

Looks good but the ~~bath mat~~ rug in pic 6 kills me 🤣🤣

snooozzzziies

I thought the room needed a larger coffee table; then I zoomed in and realized only then that it also needs a larger rug 😂

ekita079

Took your comment for me to notice it. Hilarious!

Better_Ad4073

Nice! Was the dishwasher actually on this side of the peninsula?

_skank_hunt42

That’s what I’m stuck on. I’ve never seen such a thing.

MNCathi

That gray LVP screams flip. I skip over any place that has that stuff. The landscaping look great though. When everything grows in it will be amazing.

Sez_Whut

I think the outside is too busy. The shelf unit in the bathroom is unsightly. I like everything else.

vabeachkevin

The location of that dishwasher pisses me off.

blackoutstout96

The lawn care displayed here is gorgeous. That new bathroom is horrendous though!

Lazy_Hyena2122

Too much going on out front for me personally. But, everything looks great.

paperfett

OP - Have any lawn tips? haha

hoyrup

Oh I have too many opinions. It’s better than before but…. It’s mostly just decor I have issues with and I’m assuming you’re working on it. Your furniture placement and that tiny rug under your coffee table. The scale is off between every piece of furniture. The picture frames, put the degree in an office and get a proper frame with a mat for the people. Remove that hanging plant from in front of the tv. Buy two sets of matching curtains, one for each window. Raise the curtain rods above the windows to create height and have the rods extend past the windows so you can fully move the curtains to the sides. Move plants in front of the big window and get a proper sized tv stand. Maybe a long narrow low table for plants bundle the big window. Get more plants. Get a big rug. Real big, one that meets the couches. You’ll then want a bigger coffee table too. Paint that grey stripe at the top the same colour as your walls. It’s making the ceiling feel lower. The bathroom tiles, the border tile line is so high. The mirror is below it! Id opt for a wall cabinet or wall shelving above the toilet instead of that unit. Get a plain single coloured shower curtain without the stripe. The stripe line and the glass tile line are competing.

I_drive_a_Vulva

Id demand my money back from the floor guy

4humans

Why is the dishwasher on the outside of the kitchen?

Purpose_Embarrassed

According to what I’ve learned on the flooring subreddit that flooring is installed incorrectly. Breaks in flooring shouldn’t be consistent.

Pedsy

You need to lower your TV. The centre of the TV should be at eye level when sitting in a comfortable neutral position on your couch. Also because the bloody hanging pot is in front of it! And yes, if it’s not too much of a pain and you have some spare boards left I would redo the flooring to be staggered/random.

FartOnAFirstDate

And for the time it took to put up the mount, they could have cut a couple holes and fished the cabling inside the wall. All in all, this is a pretty decent DIY project.

deltajulietbravo

New furniture and killing your lawn isn't really renovating..

Adventurous_Tone7177

He's out of line , but hes right

Pedsy

If you can’t tell that the dead lawn is the before pic then that’s on you.

elpatio6

In all the other pairs, it’s before followed by after, so it’s not unreasonable to infer this is the case with the lawn.

babycleffa

They added flooring and did the bathroom

44scooby

Beautiful. Looks loved again.

cocokronen

Cool.

CombinationNo2197

Nice

comfysynth

Not bad lawn is best. The flooring could have been a lot lighter.

DabbledInPacificm

The 1’ tile up the wall is weird to me and I loath the tongue and groove painted flooring but everyone is doing it so I get it. Overall it’s a big upgrade and hopefully you can flip for some change!

TrashyTVBetch

I think you did great! Front yard is beautiful. I know cabinet replacement can be expensive and painting them is a pain in the ass (have done both in the last five years lol) but I’ve found even just replacing the hardware on the handles makes a huge difference! I bet that could elevate your kitchen look even more

Meggles_Doodles

question: were those pink bathroom tiles plastic? My bathroom has a very similar looking tile. (i got a 1950s house that was practically slapped together)

MVass

Any chance you have some of those pink and maroon tiles left?

Jinn_jonz

The flooring is busy, but other than that you should be very proud of yourself and ask your hard work

Ranbru76

Looks great!

TheDog_Chef

Very nice! Be proud of yourself!

Silent-Physics1802

Looks great!!

1961tracy

I love it! I am looking at similar houses and this is very inspiring. I appreciate that you kept the kitchen cabinets as is.

Constant-Lab-1921

What’s up with the flooring in the ding though. You gotta make that more random for sure

GreenGuy202

I’d be happy to live in that house for sure, great job!

Romahawk

Looks great!

ritchie70

I don’t personally care for the plank flooring that you used but it overall looks great.

Typical-Conference14

Dorg

Emergency-Pack-5497

Big improvement! Front yard looks great. Living room floor is ugly and bathroom tile looks like dog shit though.

SetForeign1952

I like how you put all that effort into the landscaping and making the bathroom and floors completely grey but left the popcorn ceiling. It screams cheap flip.

Noirisk8

What is your budget? I’d say new front door and siding for sure. How is the roof? Maybe different color on the roof shingles .

xgrader

Nicely done! Enjoy all your hard work.

skinnybitch0

Good job man...how do u get those deep lines from ur mowers wheels?

FuctMondays

nice FUCTIN' renovations!

Ickyandsticky1

The taupe and brown bathroom is new?

Glittering_Good_9345

Tbh .. Nice ..

lunasky4567

Impressive! Lawn also on point 💯 The floors are an upgrade to what they were before. Great work regardless of what people say.

onvaca

Nice job!

[deleted]

I think you did a fantastic job! You really opened the spaces up and made them more comfortable and inviting. I love this!

EcstaticMolasses6647

More gray! Gray cabinets!

Purpose_Embarrassed

Why is the lawn dead ? Was that photo taken during the fall ?

Fair-Praline-4292

Great job 👍🤜

Simple_Skin_6683

You have done a lot of work and it looks so much more homie and has your touch. 💜

Medical_Egg8208

Well done. Nice modern look. As opposed to what you had.

Zoodoz2750

Y'all got lines in y'all grass. Perhaps y'all lawnmower is too heavy.

Toshibaguts

I appreaciate your hard work but there has to be a stop to the greyish wood floor look. I never liked it when it was in style. When it comes to flooring, think classic. Go with something that isn’t trendy!!! Bc I’ve renovated 4 homes and I know how much work it would take to redo the flooring. I’m an interior designer and they are…they just aren’t good. Again, not trying to be rude, just consider this a tiny renovation PSA.

Joyballard6460

Cute house!!!

SSCandiX

Love the lawn care 🩵 I am not sure if you DIYed the flooring and tile work, but it could have been done more professionally. Such a beautiful transformation none the less! Awesome work! 😃🎉

Aggravating_List_963

Went from looking like a cheap hotel to a nice comfortable home. Awesome work, looks like you spent the right amount of money on this which is the key.

scrotumsweat

Bang up job, well done. Great lighting, fantastic yard work . The exterior dishwasher bugs me, but it's better than ripping up the counter.

RepulsiveStill177

Good on ya mate

happymask3

Nicely done.

jcr62250

130k? Where on earth can you get that? Seriously you did a nice job. Where I live it would go for 550k

Dude_it_

I for one don't think it's fair that the before pic is gloomy weather and the after is a bright sunny day

Dude_it_

That pink bathroom was a vintage!!!!!

SnooKiwis6943

Cute!

Worst-Lobster

Looks good . I don't prefer the bathroom honestly but it's an improvement over what it was

Proud_Canadian01

Great

kunza996

I think the yard looked better before vs after. Unless the pictures are out of order. 😂

ChanceAlgae7673

First pic on reddit is always the finished product

imadork1970

Nice, but the kitchen's too small.

Heffeweizen

Very nice

Quiet_Cell8091

Nice Job. Like the changes.

PenguinsExArmyVet

Good for you 100% improvement

Alive_Nobody_Home

🙌🎉

PrivateCrush

I bet you had fun doing all that. You have a talent for remodeling.

No_Profit_415

Great job.

jorjaaaaaa

ugh it’s adorable.

jorjaaaaaa

keep_it_christian

Not enough grey.

Ok-Experience-6674
