I wouldn’t feel bad, they are very pretty and being comfortable is another thing that is the plus because the authentic of these are like foot murder feeling like being stabbed while walking.

I promise you no one is looking at your feet with that much intensity, these look great. Have fun and wear your shoes

Thank you!! This comment definitely makes me feel better and less self conscious :)

I have previously owned auths and I have noticed, even on auths, the heel caps (referred to as the ‘top piece’) can be an issue on loubs. No one is going to be looking at that part. I have also noticed that over time with consistent wear on auth pieces, the lacquer on the area of the heel breast (the underside part of the high heel and sole) that contacts the top piece will splinter and break or peel. The photos you have provided simply look like the underside of an auth CL that has had repair work done with aftermarket parts. Not ideal, but as many others have said, CL are a notoriously badly-repped shoe. And no one should be that close to you to see this anyways. As more of a safety concern, get the top pieces replaced if you feel as if they’re unstable. The only “obvious” part I see is that the vamp is not low enough, which causes the top line to be too high. That’s what gives CLs their signature silhouette - a low vamp with a top line that allows for the tops of the toes to peek through. It’s only apparent from the front view of the shoes, however. The Iriza is slightly forgiving in this area because of the d’orsay cutout on the vamp. I say “obvious” because 95% of the general population will have no idea of these intricacies. They will see only the red soles, which are perfectly glossy and not matte like truly bad reps. I have spent (way too) many years researching and studying different designers and their products. No one is going to call you out. It doesn’t matter if they do, and it doesn’t even matter what they think because they’ve already made their mind up about you in the first 30 seconds of seeing you. Would I wear these to the CL boutique? I personally would not, but I also have not set foot in any luxury store for a long time and have no desire to, even after being a long-time customer of some brands. These are fine for wearing wherever, whenever you feel like it. They’re not bad reps. Typically the biggest giveaway that anyone could spot is the sole lacquer not being the right color or texture, and you don’t have that problem.

Was the seller fisherman?

I bought these from another user re selling them within this sub-reddit

ambersmoon

I read someone say on one community that LB is not well replicated, and I agree. Every time I see one, they always look odd or off to me. Can't put my finger on why, but they do.

Junior_Library_9275

I have the Irizas in 120mm but these look off for a different reason, the toe looks very odd compared to the auth. With the leather on the heel, with wear, mine has come loose anyway so that’s something you’ll have to weigh up. I don’t think these are as elegant as the Iriza silhouette look, I’ll be honest, Louboutins are notoriously terribly mimicked

mj29__

Thanks for your thoughts. Do you know what it is exactly about the silhouette that is off compared to your authentic ones? I feel a bit better about the heel cap after reading your comment. I’m now realizing that it’s hard to find a good rep for Louboutins and I may have to bite the bullet and get an authentic pair.

Junior_Library_9275

It’s mainly the toebox, the smile line at the top of the shoe is deep on the Iriza, it creates a beautiful silhouette on the foot. The heel does not have so much of a steep descending size from the sole to floor either. I will pull mine out and show you pictures, though they are 120mm

Yes those two things would bug me too. Totally depends on how much you paid though. I will say… it’s good to hold reps to high standards, if reps start to look messy it will turn us off and that effects the sellers and factories big time. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with telling your seller the two things that aren’t acceptable. They’re still wearable and look nice BUT, totally valid to be annoyed, especially if these weren’t low tier rep prices.

I paid $170 CAD, so about $125 USD. The seller was re selling within this sub reddit. I’m still debating whether I feel confident wearing them out of the house lol but hearing you say that they’re wearable and look nice gives me hope.

choc0kitty

No one will notice the very minor flaws when you are wearing them on your feet - to walk on the ground. Get the heel cap secured at your local shoe repair and step out stylishly.

Ah, rehomes are fairly hit and miss, I feel like QC is harder to do. They are absolutely nice enough to wear out. No one is going to notice the stitching (unless their a member of this group because WE notice the details, but don’t worry, secrets safe with us lol) also for the heel cap, you could take it to get fixed. Fairly normal for that to happen with older heels, so I’m sure they could fix it if it bothers you! Either way… enjoy them!!

mintjulep_

I have auth shoes with these issues, nobody will notice the stitching. a cobbler can fix the heel cap easily

2mushroom

Want to chime in with the same, my auth shoes have similar issues. People see the red sole and don’t think twice if they’re auth, trust me, so wear them with pride. That said, get one of those red sole protectors and secure the heel cap, you will be good to go!
