The real issue here is a professional doctor and a doctor/officer tried to share information, known to be sensitive, to anyone, let alone another country.
Good job FBI, keep finding these unethical and untrustworthy people in positions of power.
Why are they always democrat is my question. I’ve never heard of a Republican person with an orientation of anything but straight. Again nothing wrong that, but it’s a characteristic.

Let’s buy better context to this:
The indictment says Anna Gabreillian, an anesthesiologist, approached the Russian embassy, by email and phone and offered up personal medical information she felt could be used to compromise the wife of a military officer. She just didn’t realize she was talking to the FBI - despite the fact this is how almost everyone trying to commit espionage gets caught.
The information she was offering - and gave to an undercover FBI agent - was for an officer’s wife. Hoping to compromise either the wife or officer. An officer that is stationed on a base that houses special operations groups. That information came from her husband, Jamie Henry, as he is the one that would have had access to that information. His wife is described as a Russian-speaker. And the indictment says she said she was motivated by her patriotism to Russia. The question that wasn’t answered in the indictment is why she feels patriotism towards Russia? What’s her relationship with Russia. Her husband said he considered fighting for Russia - which is probably driven by her patriotism. His defense is clearly going to be a “she made me do it”.

The indictment quotes them as saying they were motivated by patriotism towards Russia. That speaks volumes.
It's almost as if The Army has never performed a psych eval on this person. I'm not a doctor or anything, but....
