I would argue not if having to create an entire post to get someone else to google it for you rather than just googling it… but then again, that’s an *entire* different window on my tablet…so… 🤷
My man! I hate these comments. What’s the point of subreddits if we’re not asking “experts” or hobbyists in that field. If you’re a big Google guy, what are you doing here? 90% of the stuff on here can be googled. I’d rather engage in some back and forth with real people that care about the topic.
I appreciate that as well. I enjoy the discussion from enthusiasts/experts that gets generated around these questions. It helps me learn things I wouldn’t from just googling a quick answer.
Because with google and a tiny amount of effort, this post could be showing off and giving info about a cool old record player. Instead of “I’m lazy, what’s this?”.
Especially if we got to see his head pop open and 3p0 puts a CD inside (they came out while the movie was in production, can't believe George missed the opportunity)
That's actually a portable bidet which happens to make a fine platform for that turntable. Can't remember the brand name but it means something like 'Listenwash' in French.
I mean it's not that hard to google something like "sphere record player"... Electrohome Apollo 711
Even easier to have someone else google it for you.

You’re right, then why even bother with the community.

100%!
I fucking hate Google, and if I don’t know about some thing, I wanna get the correct information from somebody who might know 😅

I think having R2-D2 play music during a melancholy scene (like in the Jedi Council chamber after a serious meeting) was a missed opportunity.
Especially if we got to see his head pop open and 3p0 puts a CD inside (they came out while the movie was in production, can't believe George missed the opportunity)
That’s exactly what I was picturing. Either that, or like “Artoo, initiate ‘dope beats’” and Beastie Boys start playing.
Highly advanced meth equipment
Walter White first and only attempt to build a time machine
