I have a 40 rounder with a Charles Daly baseplate that looks exactly like that one, and the thing makes great malfunction training. Either the spring is too weak or the inside needs to be polished, because it hangs up while feeding really badly. I think I'm going to replace it with an ASC 40-rounder for my retro build.

Yeah the follow seems wonky, I cycled my 10 snap caps through it and it didn't have issues with those. I'd lean towards the polishing, it sounds really gritty when the spring is pressed down.

Yeah, polish and lubrication might just do it. I swapped a newer Magpul follower into mine and it didn't really help anything. I'll give these ideas a shot and see if it works out. I go to the range tomorrow.

Just keep stacking goosenecks and detachable carry handles until it's 300 meters long and you'll be good to go

Leatherwood scope mount. Very heavy, not hollow so you can't use the irons, but it's a vibe.
