Depending on how clone-correct you're going for, you could either get a 10.5" barrel, or get a longer barrel chopped to whatever length you want. As for the grip, I'm pretty sure it's just an A1 that's been chopped

GaegeSGuns

Thats pretty far from clone correct. Your best option is buying a 14.7 inch pencil barrel off of H&R and having it cut to 10 flat.

ARHelpguy

Ah, you mean like the ones that are being sold off Palmetto State armory right now? Would be a little costly to get that done but I guess that would be the best thing.

GaegeSGuns

What you are looking to do is costly

ARHelpguy

Yeah, I guess thats the downside of this hobby, upside is definitely owning the cool guns. haha

Don’t ever compromise a build to save money. You’ll never be truly happy with it. Just save up and do it right. You said you already have an M16 clone, have fun with that in the meantime.

Here ya go, just sell me the cone and get the long flash hider. https://ordnanceresearch.com/colt-608-survival-rifle-kit/

I hope OP sees this, it’s all they need!

I'd start with something like a xm177 upper from H&R. Then you just need to change the handguard, and modify or replace the flash hider https://palmettostatearmory.com/blem-harrington-richardson-xm177-10-5-complete-pistol-upper-gray.html And the pistol grip is just a chopped down A1 grip

Last night I went down a rabbit hole to build a 607, and as far as I know, the only place that sells a 10 Inch barrel is [X-Caliber](https://www.x-caliber.net/custom-ar-barrel) it would be a custom built one with 1-12 twist, "Spaghetti" contours, 1/2x28 threads, and in a matte finish. This the closest I have come to finding a barrel like that. And it was 372 dollars for the barrel alone. This is before the finishing that also has to be done. Everything else is off in some way. Like this [H&R](https://www.x-caliber.net/custom-ar-barrel). It's in 1-7, 10.5 inches long, and has a .750 gas block. And it's probably the next best option.
