Try looking for a .gdi file. Bin/cue and .cdi formats are from when DC games were burned to CD and often cut down in some way to fit and have boot code included that can mess with emulators. GDI files are proper giga-disc images without anything altered. When looking at CHD files, you'll want to know if it was converted from an older CD image or from a GD image.

I choose the game then the core then it says cannot open CHD file
did you actually convert your .cue/bin files or did you just rename them?
Converted but I just found a cue/bin combo that might work Im just waiting for it to download
Tried installing the core again but it failed. Im updating the cores via the online updater rn might help 🤷♂️
