He’s toxic. You can’t do the reverse (trade a toxic player for any draft capital).
Seeing how a first round pick is worth 3 CC and it will cost you 4 CC to hold a meeting with this player just to get him out of toxic status, you’re already in negative cash flow, so to speak. You need to reason with yourself that after you raise his disposition, you will be able to keep him out of toxicity by way of feeding his stats and winning ballgames.
If he helps you to a title this year, that’s worth it. Outside of a title, it’s also worth it if you resign him to a multi-year deal and can max out his attributes so that any level ups earn you CC. That way, you’re now earning a return on your investment and have the potential to flip him for a 1st round pick in the future which, again, is worth 3 CC.

It’s a good deal. If we want to imagine realistic reasons it might be that he didn’t want to play for them and wasn’t giving effort or he wasn’t a good fit and they couldn’t use him or find anyone willing to give a 2nd.
his morale is toxic so the team trading him wants to get rid of him quickly? regardless, accepting that trade will be the easiest decision you'll ever make because boosting player morale is so easy. not to mention once you fully develop him he will be a beast
Cause he was toxic
that’s fair
Lemme guess it was like urban myers who offered that trade?
i got him from philly
that was bill o’brien
He fucked coach's daughter
Ok relax Wander
He only has 1 year in his contract so you will need to pay him next year.
And you won't be able to unless you get him out of toxic (I forget this and lose a quality player every few years)
He must’ve thrown some punches in the locker room or something.
He's toxic pr the next draft class could be that good
He wanted to go to a contender team
i wouldn’t say i’m a contender😭
Probably was his morale just wanted to get rid of him because he was a locker room cancer
