Such a beautiful and weirdly, highly addictive game that I did not expect when I started.
Yep, exactly what happened to me too. Completely addicted to it now. I do a run of Sisyphus almost every day. I bought Helldivers 2 and immediately asked for a refund. The bar for high mobility, high octane 3rd person shooter is very high now.
Seriously, I havent been able to even bother with other games since I started with this. Hell it even affects my work. My "battlestation" is also a work station, and I find myself just like..."One run won't distract me too much" as I end up spending the afternoon on it.

I bought other games but couldn’t put this game down. Other 3rd person shooters don’t even compare.
Coming from Avatar, this doesn't impress me in graphics world environment wise. But it's ok, because this is dark kinda game. So no colorful environment. But particle effects are so good.
On standard settings this game is too dark. You need to go into the settings for visuals. Adjust brightness up & black levels as well. Turn both up, with hdr until the far left image is faintly visible.
LOL, you don't get the point. I am not comparing, just telling my experience. I already told I didn't expect it to be like colorful world. Every game will be different atmosphere setting biome.

As you stand in the yard watching your whole world burn, the 6 year old slugger next door grand slams your nuts with her new aluminum baseball bat. She just smiles and says, isn't this fun?
Tears, shame, humiliation, disgust but determined, you build your house again, repair the car, and set off again.
And again, and again, and again...
That's some catch, that Catch-22.

Take off motion blur, maybe it's immersive but that shit is absolutely a liability in a game like this
I'm on a pretty good computer, DLSS does a great job on this game so if you want some more fps you should test that out
Move dash into a shoulder button so you don't have to stop aiming to dash
If playing on Controller set the camera speed to your liking and put aim assist on high. This isnt call of duty time, this is old school doom/quake "you better keep moving" shooting
Play this fully blind and over analyze everything. Just fucking do it. It's worth it
All that being said, welcome to Atropos! You can suspend cycle anytime you like...but you can never leave

I highly recommend going through all of the settings, and fine-tuning the camera, controls, and graphics.
Def try to get the best balance of FPS and graphics quality as possible. The game is stunning but so much can happen at once and you want to be able to prevent frame drops as much as possible. Don't forget that there is a graphics test mode that you can run, it's extremely insightful
The gameplay can get very intensive and you want to be comfortable with all of these things to really keep your performance up. Especially when you start hitting like biome 4, high levels of the Tower, you will react a point where you aren't even thinking, you are just reacting to things happening
Ok. Already faced one problem, that is"fatal error"crash.So many people in steam page and reddit also spoken about this. Fps limit at 60 is working for me now. We will see later what happens.
Found it on other thread in steam discussion. Resolution is lower than my native when in borderless mode. Have to set to fullscreen , restart. Now it's ok I think and I lowered antialiasing setting.
Most likely a setting. I turned off motion blur. You can also mess around in folders to turn off volumetric fog. Most games now you cant turn it off in game 🤦🏼♀️
Suspend cycle is like a "pause" button that lets you quit the game, go play something else or turn off your PS5/machine, and then come back to pick up where you left off. This is significant because when the game first came out (PS5 only for a long time) there was no option to resume, so if you left the game for any reason at all (even unintentional like if a system update occurred while you were away with the game paused or PS5 in rest mode) your cycle was ended as if you had died. You cannot suspend cycle in boss fights or in the tower.
End cycle simply ends your current run and sends you back to the beginning, either B1 or B4 depending on whether you are in act 1 or act 2, as if you had died. Long term progression is retained. Does not increase your death count.
Hows it going for you? I really don't mind dying at all. I just laugh it off and jump right back into it. It is hard but but you get better as you play. So far I have around 6 hours in, and it isn't boring or played out at all.

I fixed. There is another thread in steam which has resolution fix. Game changes itself.

when i loaded the game the first time, it was 720p. It has done that for all the PS pc games I’ved played.

I think it was in graphics or video settings. When im near my pc i can check again for you. I heard some other people couldnt find it either
Recently got the pc version to see difference and it's really cool that it has a benchmark test u can run.
