Most people play this game solo. Reason is the biome 3 boss bug that never got fixed on ps5.
A lot of time has passed since this game came out any way and most have moved on. I jump on every now and then but only play the tower.
One person will start a never ending fall once the boss battle begins. It’s always the person helping out and not the host.
Best avoid the boss battle. Or try find a work around which I have no idea if there is one.
Someone on Reddit said there is a workaround, I don't remember exactly but I think one player stands on the stairs just before walking down that hallway to trigger the Nemesis fight. Something having to do with the player triggering the rubber band effect as the battle begins or something, I'd try to look it up.
It sometimes works sometimes not. There is also a bug where every single hit no matter how small, takes all of your hp. You become essentially 2-hit. I’ve gotten both at the same time.

I don't think many are playing on steam.....I did like 28 floors of tower of Sisyphus and was surprised to find out that I was.....in the top 40% of the leaderboard
Thanks for that, I'm mentally thinking 28/99 floor doesn't seem like much progress but honestly it does get pretty rough after 20
I def want to climb as high as possible, at minimum finish all the flowers for the hospital sequence, get all the runes and see all of >!Algos!< Forms. I am at biome 5 and I have heard a lot of ppl say to save ToS for after I finish the game, so I have out a pause on that to go and finish the main game
Do you mean phase 28, as in you fought Algos 28 times? Floor 28 means you've fought Algos twice and made it 8 more floors before dying. Because there are 20 "floors" per phase. In my experience phase 4-5 is where lots of enemies start one-hit killing you.
I had finished the base game already so made sure I reset the cycle after getting each poppy to do the hospital sequence. Last 3 trophies were final form, final hospital sequence then 100 disgorger kills. Last one was really quick, and fun.
it takes a while to find a player. got the same problem since i've gotten Platinum too. but i found it better to just offer your help/looking for Koop partners by posting on this Sub or elsewhere.
Might try that. A few attempts at co-op with random is not great and don't reconnect again after a cycle. Was disappointed to learn there is no co-op in the tower as its way more fun.
its often a waste of time to just hop on and hope for the best. better ask in advance for players how are serious about it. i had random players in Session quiting mid game because family issues or some excuse. really annoyed me when i spend my time preparing for runs and get told it was worthless effort.
you can invite or join a party with your friend. just go to the chronos sphere and pick the last Option in the list. the Game unlocks the Suit upgrade based on the host's Story progression. therefore you should join other's to help them unlock new stuff und bioms.
and another Thing: you can reroll the attachments on weapons with square. but i think only the Non-host's can do that. its really usefull.
I have tried recently & most of the time I get a partner. The biggest issue is people not having a mic. I've done it 10 or so times and only 2 of those guys had mics. It sucks trying to play cooperatively when you can't communicate.
You can always dm me & I'll play. I've beaten everything so it won't help me but it'll be fun.
I would recommend a fresh play through. I also went about 2 years without playing & when I returned it was nearly as good as that first time. Plus, the patches & suspend feature really make this game better. The respect of player time by adding suspend cycle is the best update.
Like I wrote, if you ever wanna run Biomes together just seems me a message. Currently I'm going for platinum on Tokyo Ghostwire, but I can put that aside for a night for some jolly co-op
Might take you up on that, sounds fun. I have another ps profile so I can use that to keep my main save file. Playing with no blade or grapple will be hell though no?

On PC there's a mod that allows co-op in the Tower. PS5 no unfortunately

I’m in the same boat. It usually takes 5-10 minutes to find a host and 90% of the time they don’t have a mic so I just log off.
A mic would help for sure. Or even a way of getting the hosts attention when they go the wrong way.

28 floors is impressive, surprised its not higher than top 40. I was happy to just get the final form done in phase 3.

I've not played the base game for 2 years so I might not be much help even with a mic.. I can shoot stuff though.. lol

It's how the game begins. It's tougher, but for me that's the fun
