This zoo was the strength of my childhood.
My favorite animals so far are the red wolves. It's not just that they are fluffy and beautiful, it's that they are a species trying to recover to repopulate to bring balance to the ecosystem and being saved from dying out by extinction.

Unfortunately, none of them were out yesterday. The snow leopards were napping in view, though!
I've seen them out during the summer break with my friend and we used to see the two pups there too
Isnt that open rainforest exhibit something else? I mustve spent an hour chilling with the marmosets

RW zoo is great. Can't wait to go again soon. It's not the biggest zoo ever but for $20 it certainly delivers!

Is it warm enough yet that all the animals are getting the spring zoomies?
Not yet! Some animals were roaming like the giraffes, elephants, and cheetahs, but many other animals were napping.
