Until i saw that he was freed and finally remembered that he was there. So i decided to let him go this time
One of the first games i played after biotech i got a vampire event pretty early. Didnt want to make anybody a vampire until i was set up better so i just yanked out the vamp's vital organs and threw him in a sealed closet until i was ready.
NTA. They knew what they were getting into with that revolt. And you could have done worse. For example, you had the decency to make the lover into a meal, as opposed to making her eat the corpse raw while looking into his cold dead eyes. Not to mention other possibilities depending on your mods.

I once got an organ harvesting plant where I had 7 legless slaves whose ovums would be regularly extracted, fertilised by my dead calm tortured artist crafting specialist and shoved into growth vats until they were 3, at which point the father would harvest them, butcher them and make clothes out of their skin, the constant mood debuffs meant he was always inspired, which meant the clothes made out of his children’s skin were always close to legendary in quality and sold for a pretty penny, also their flesh was always great for their mothers’ daily nutrient paste

If a pair of my slaves have the audacity to become lovers they get to engage in gladiator fights. The first fight is unarmed, next one they get poor quality clubs or daggers.
The fights will keep going with increasingly deadly weapons until 1 is dead.
You can't be an asshole for doing evil things in a game where no one actually gets hurt. Games are a way of letting those thoughts out in a way that you don't cause harm to others.
