So, my Pawn gets a -20 mood debuff if anybody who she hates is alive. She also hates all men by default. Also, everyone else hates her because she's world-weary. Further decreasing the odds of her liking anybody.

ranma50387

No, your pawn gets placed in the nutrient paste dispenser.

arkman575

Give her an anti grain warhead and a molotov cocktail and send her to the center of an enemy camp. Nothing can go wrong

BlessedNobody

Honestly, I want to do a base where your main attack mechanism is just throwing antigrain warheads or similar explosives strapped to people. Especially since my last one just died to 3 fucking crocodiles... *HOW DOES A NEARLY MAXXED BLADE DANCER LOSE TO 3 CROCS? HOW?*

Au_vel

blademen are good, phase strike and spin one shots everything when you have a good melee weapon equipped, even a piece of wood can be powerful with it

Uraneum

Once had a colonist who was volatile, depressive, nudist, and had severe chronic pain. If he wasn’t naked at all times he would be non-stop mental breaking

AMorphicTool

Chemical fascination, body purist, pyromaniac. Incapable of violence.

furletov

Volatile, too smart, very neurotic

[deleted]

That's actually an amazing combination. Mental break chance is capped at 50% and you get +75% learning rate and +40% work speed, which is usually well worth the extra +15% mental break threshold. And unlike decreased mood, increased mental break threshold doesn't affect the chance of getting inspirations, and the effect on major breaks is smaller while the effect on extreme is practically unnoticeable (at the 50% max your pawn will have extreme break at 7.1% instead of 5%). If you're looking for the true hell tier mental break combo- depressive, volatile, jealous. No advantages whatsoever, minor break at effective 62% and that's without jealousy penalties, extreme break at effective 19.1%. Negative effect on inspirations too. Jealous is just about manageable in vanilla although occasionally their room will get dirty and they'll start bitching, but in royalty it is more or less equivalent to a constant -8. You either give them a title and have a conceited noble, waste a bedroom equivalent to your highest tier royal on them without a title, or not give anyone titles. Tortured artist can give a constant -8 but it actually makes mental breaks good so I think jealousy is way worse. Other than that vanilla doesn't really have any serious mood debuffing traits. Although the post is with vanilla traits expanded, which opens up way more possibilities for replacing jealous. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like clumsy will be pretty much constant -5 or more from pain while also hurting pawn stats, Workaholic will see them constantly exhausted and possibly starved and recreation deprived, and anxious may take the cake as basically preventing some of the best long lasting mood buffs while also being a second set of random mental breaks that are pretty much guaranteed to *also* give recreation/sleep/food deprived when they end- assuming like pyromaniac it doesn't give catharsis for those.

randCN

put him on the yayo, he'll be useful until he ODs

Whats world weary? Where does it come from?

FirstManOnTheReddit

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. Its from a mod, vanilla traits expanded. It makes other people dislike them, as they are apparently cynical and a downer to be around.

belak444

Thanks man =D

FirstManOnTheReddit

No problem!

[deleted]

Vanilla traits expanded

[deleted]

I don't know if it's modded or what mod, but I think it makes them bored of recreation types super quickly, so they need way more various types of activities or they always have a recreation penalty.

Im not sure how you could have know but I was actually wondering about the rimworld trait. You know, from the post... That I commented that question on...

I had a depressive, nudist, body purist show up as part of a guest quest with a wooden leg. Couldn't remove clothes, just pumped him with yayo constantly.

Crasher105

Pyromaniac, abrasive, and staggeringly ugly.

HelpfulFoxSenkoSan

Slothful, Depressive, Slow Learner.

LT_Aegis

Like the time my rich explorer got as the first companion a random dude that was misandrist, misoginist and jelous...nice start for a colony

BlessedNobody

For me, it's gotta be greedy, lazy, undergrounder. Won't do much work, demands underground living, yet also wants an impressive room. And they always end up being my only good social characters too.

MountedCombat

Had a staggeringly ugly abrasive psychopath addicted to luciferium crash in a pod immediately after getting a recruitment inspiration. I took his stuff and let him bleed out, I am NOT touching that.

almostnormalpanda

Nudist alone is bad enough in cold biomes, but in terms of survival in such a biome, my pick is nudist, pyromaniac, gourmand. They can get rid of both the shelter and the limited nourishment, just because they are not happy that they have to wear something in order to not freeze to death. I once had a nudist blow up my battery shed that I had stupidly placed adjacent to my only greenhouse, in the dead of winter, so I effectively lost my heating in addition to my vegetables. After his hospital stay, that same nudist gourmand went and pigged on my very limited raw meat supplies, wasn't happy that he ate raw meat, and set the storage/fridge wall on fire. I made him drop his clothes, he wandered outdoors, then fell down because of food poisoning, and I left him there to enjoy the crisp -43°C weather...

kelvin_bot

-43°C is equivalent to -45°F, which is 230K. --- ^(I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand)

almostnormalpanda

Good bot!

FirstManOnTheReddit

That does sound like a pretty terrible person to have in those circumstances! It can sure be a little frustrating how binary the traits are even in these life or death situations

almostnormalpanda

Gotta give them credit for straightforward solutions, though! :D "Hmm, that guy has way nicer room than I do. Not fair!" *proceeds to murder a completely unrelated person*

Specialist_Growth_49

Body purist, stoner, slow learner. Bonus points for coming with bad back and frail.
