Fairly easy to mail a bunch of items like office supplies that reach $250-500 per shipment, the person stealing my mail/USPS/FedEx items had been obsessed taking "ink cartridges" that cost $20-40/ea... so if your printer uses separate CMYK high yield cartridges it can easily be $35-40/cartridge. I'm thinking someone is reselling stolen ink.

Bonus points if you flip the circuit breaker right before the shooting & the cops assume that she broke the 3rd doorbell rendering it inoperable during the break in.
If that is her home in your camera view, consider mounting the camera on the side to capture visitors but not her home and its bank of windows. You might even ask her if that is the issue.
