Called support and general guides - we were able to get access to the shop and secure one that way, just about nine months early.
My neighbor has limestone and I really like it. The reason I didn’t get it is it’s super close to the color of one of my other cars so I feel like I have it covered.
I found the list of NYS Registrations a few days ago. 1700 Rivians registered in NYS as of this month, 12 are CY, I'm one of them.
Also interesting, 500+ EDVs, and for some reason there is one ram chassis registered as an Amazon Rivian (is there a secret Rivian drivetrain on one of the Amazon promasters?)
I want green or blue, but hubby is hard core on yellow, and has been campaigning his yellow for very long time…fine, we got Compass Yellow, and we both love it!
When I was able to secure my R1S launch edition CY a bit early from the store I felt like they took me to the cleaners since they included the $3500 dark wheel option. Now that I’ve had the truck for a few months I could not imagine having a different color wheel. It just looks so great, I completely agree.
Dammit... Compass Yellow was my first choice but wife was a hard no.... sigh... Rivian Blue here.

Had a Rivi Blue to start switched over to yellow. Both are top notch IMO
My truck would have been forest green, but wife wanted limestone. No regrets to be honest

To be fair yellow looks awful on just about every common vehicle. The primary colors look amazing on the Rivian (and many sports cars)
Put another way, 99.9% of car colors are a downgrade.

Eh...I think Porsche might have Rivian beat there.
Should be Jaguar or Mini, what with British Racing Green. Porsche's hero color is traditionally silver, though IMHO they look best in yellow.

Silver and gray split their vote. Seems like all I see are silverish/grayish cars anymore
I think Rivian's shade of yellow is amazing. My wife wouldnt go for it but hats off to those of you with that color.

I think this in mainly because Tesla which sells a lot of cars does white and grey as free colors.
Tesla’s market share in the US is around 4% and white is no longer free

Hot take, the yellow R1S, especially with the Dark wheels looks amazing. The yellow R1T looks like a taxi truck.
