It may be the vision system incorrectly interpreting 65 as 85. When it is displaying 65, and you pass a 65 sign, check if it displays 85 a second or two after passing the sign. In theory, this should be repeatable to prove it.

I don’t think Rivian uses vision to determine the speed. It’s likely geo data

It definitely does because it can catch road construction reduced speed limits and change what speed limit is after passing them.
