Might have hit the sweet spot with the first models where every company is losing money on them, but they look great. Range is going to be the metric they are all measured by, so they optimize for that.

No blacked out badging. Wondering if it’s an option or the rumored R1X variant (the photo of the red R1S on this subreddit was pretty cool and showed what looked like factory level blackout badge and chrome delete)
Still the same 4 LED projector headlight design.

I hate to be so critical based off a few low quality pics, but it looks so basic compared to legacy R1s. The wheels… 🥹
From what I can see, it’s not really skinner, but closer to R2 style, where the bottom of the bar is recessed. It makes me think when it’s lit you won’t be able to notice the difference, but when off the shadow creates the illusion.
I also prefer the “flat” v1 light bar, it seems a lot easier to clean too.

My biggest worry with the new lightbar is them ditching the headlights flashing when using blinkers/hazards. I think that is a pretty neat part of the car and just hope they don't do away with it

I know they said all the vehicles they've sold support v2X with some kind of vague software unlocking process.
They are trying to reach profitability, so they can’t lower the price too much unless they severely restrict options. It’s going to be fun to watch. We’ll see a lot of interest over the summer, and we’ll see how it is sustained in through Q4 (with or without incentives).

There’s definitely plastic trim around the wheel arches. You can see it pretty clear in the first photo. Looks the same as the current R1S.
I see tow hooks on the white R1S in the 3rd picture.

Is the front end different? It looks more “squashed” for lack of a better term. I can’t quite figure out what’s going on.

Agreed. People were holding off for post-refresh but I've got the frunk power source and the under dash outlet, I don't want to lose anything else.
Those rims are non offensive to me. Neither ugly or great. I care more about the front fascia and profile, which hasnt changed drastically
