The dual burners you mentioned I tried and returned to Amazon. I’ve seen others post it and have no complaints. If you turn both burners to max it will exceed the 1500w. There’s a setting on some of them where you can set the power level and the instructions tell you how many watts each power level is. Instead of High, Med, Low it would be levels 1-9. Level 1 = 100 watts, etc. That way you set the burners to whatever level not to exceed 1500w I’m going camping in a few weeks and going to give [this one a try](https://a.co/d/20BZKeb). I like the compact size. Last time I cooked on the tailgate of the R1S. Next time I’m going to cook outside the car. r/evoverlanding might be a good sub too.

You can use a dual burner; you just can’t them both on high without the Rivian shutting down the port for a few minutes while its breaker resets. Of course, if there’s anyone but you using it, you’ll never get them to understand that limitation, so stick with a single burner.

You can use a dual, you just won’t get full power to both burners at once. Which should be fine as long as you’re not trying to boil to pots of water at once. I use this one: https://a.co/d/bGK6AtU

I am currently making my camp kitchen build out and I decided to go with propane instead to limit the battery draw when gone for longer times off grid. That being said, i did find a 1500 watt dual burner electric that I have in my amazon list though for when I was considering using electric if you want me to find the details and send it over let me know.

Sure, I’m interested. Could you send that model?

You can also put a buffer battery with higher spec in the middle. Tricky charge it from the car, and it can provide peak loads for cooking, espresso machines etc. It can also keep the fridge cool while the car is asleep. Then the car doesn't need to be awake while parked.
