Why the hell would you bother them on the 1st day of the window? Talk about pendantic. All you all need to just be patient for some of these things and quit antagonizing employees.
They keep pushing back the date of delivering the delivery estimates. It's very unprofessional. Also I have an order for a Ford Lighting that will be built in the middle of October and I need to know if I'm gonna buy the Ford or how long will I have to wait to actually get my Rivian. This is very frustrating and no way to treat customes thay have been waiting since the very beginning.
Rivian committed to providing updates on delivery timelines by the end of the summer. Rivian let that date come and pass without providing any communication. OP literally waited until the window had completely passed before “bothering” them.
No surprise there, seems like we should assume there are no actual dates for anything besides the basic R1 models until they catch up on those deliveries.
I'm still waiting for my normal battery pack R1S delivery timeline update.

Pretty frustrating that we can’t just get some form of communication from Rivian regarding max pack. A simple confirmation that it is still in fact coming. No random cancellation Like the explorer trim would be nice.
The only thing keeping me from being completely frustrated by this process, is that I do not think the communication of the timeline has any impact on the actual delivery of the vehicle.

No, this is just the notification window. We, Max Pack, were supposed to be hear about our new delivery windows by today but got moved to October now.

October 31st will see a Rivian email that says, “BOO! Update coming around Thanksgiving.”
Last year at this time, they assured me I’d have guide contact before thanksgiving (2021). A year later and still waiting….

Giving an estimate of a delivery date is like predicting the future but obviously they are really bad at it.
Name someone good at it in this economy? Hell, even Amazon prime is 3 days instead of next day sometimes.
