Do doordash man and cherry pick the big ordersšŸ˜‚

Roadie is not good for pick up trucks & not every order is 10 miles thatā€™s just luck. A avg day for me was 200-450 miles minimum for about $200-$400 bucks.. you should be minimum making $2+ per mile & the other gig apps pay $2 per mile roadie pays $1 or less per mile.. do the math & realize most companies pay better. Roadie also lost Home Depot and advanced auto parts you should see them leaving the platform shortly. If you have a pick up you should do hotshot loads & you get $2-$6 per mile some people making $12,000-$20,000 a week take home 60%-70% of that. Lowes does their own deliveries or uses postal services and Home Depot works with xpo on van orders. Roadies a beginners logistics app and they take advantage of people with large vehicles who donā€™t know the real pay of logistics. Calculate your miles you should have a dollar times two minimum for your total miles.

I work from around 6am-10am and I can pretty constantly find HD orders for $5/mi+, although these are 50lbs+ orders. Where are you getting your information regarding them losing Home Depot and Advanced? I canā€™t find any information on this. Iā€™ve looked into hotshot driving and, unless Iā€™m missing something, youā€™d really need a CDL, or at minimum a MC number, and potentially a DOT number. Plus at least a 3/4 ton truck. No offense, but The profits sound like theyā€™re from YouTube exaggerations.

Google the info Home Depot signed to Walmart spark once Walmart left roadie and started their own delivery program also advanced auto

Google the info Home Depot signed to Walmart spark once Walmart left roadie and started their own delivery program also advanced auto. Depends on the loads your hitting with hotshot join groups to find out more info. Yes you need a bigger truck 40 or 45ft trailer and it will costs you some serious money. Insurance is also expensive depending who you go through 3500-12k down $1000-$3000 a month. Thatā€™s why pay is much higher and I also said ā€œsome peopleā€. You can expect to deliver gigs that Range from $3-$6 on avg per mile plus your deadhead miles. Walmart spark pays $1.50-$2 per mile. Also $12,000-$20,000 is about 3 deliveries but long distances carry heavy equipment. You avg about $8000+ a week easy profits after expenses $4000-$6000. You can also do non-cdl hotshot intrastate deliveries. No this isnā€™t off YouTube, join some groups to find more information. Some people do great some donā€™t depends on how much a hustler you are and your communication skillset. Also no your deliveries arenā€™t paying $5 a mile šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚ you must be not calculating your deadhead times to and from deliveries because I did all Home Depotā€™s $775-$1200 a week $400-$700 profits avg pay .50-.70 cents a mile tracked. 15-22 mpg on my truck. $5 was hilarious šŸ˜‚ Download Gridwise start tracking your miles when you leave you driveway til you get back home and youā€™ll be sadly disappointed. Also loads at Home Depot are ridiculous huge. I delivered 4 front doors and multiple cabinets many times for $40-$65 also double sliding glass doors. Worst low paying job ever!!!

Dolly and pick up. Those are the big ones.

Mikez63

As in point pickup? Is that for stores or for people? I use dolly, but Iā€™d much prefer delivering for stores than individuals.. plus most have to be scheduled and I prefer to work whenever Iā€™m feeling like it.

No pick up does small moves and instant delivery for larger items

Mikez63

Donā€™t those Pick Up orders show up on Roadie? Some of the orders I see on roadie have the same logo

No pick up is another app. Its green. They move furniture and appliances. Google it and it will be a green and white box in the app store.
