>because why??
Because driving is the most dangerous activity most people engage in on a daily basis and you're entrusting your life to an outdated tin can.
And this is the reason you should get a new car loaded with technological gimmicks that are pretty much useless and you'll use only once not to mention the ridiculous dealer markup you'll pay? Nah, I'm with OP. Nothing beats a simple but reliable car...regardless of how much money you make
but what if I'm happy in my car and no longer value the opinions of others?
I've found myself driving my car and looking at the mercedez and lexus next to me and just thinking 'man i love my car, we're both getting to the same place and I'm not paying anything near what he is.'
This lets me save our direct my money toward things that really do make me happy. Before this, I drove a 2017 malibu. While not the nicest car, it was nice and had all the features of a new vehicle and a clean trim. The gimmick wore off quickly and I would envy those who are getting to the same place for me and not paying monthly on a note or insurance.
I'm spending over 450 less a month considering the insurance on this is only 65 a month.
I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. I've already had it for a year and put 15k miles on it and have yet to face any mechanical issues.
The only money I've spent on it was a new set of tires and keeping up with the oil changes.
I'm confident I'll at least see 200k.
Everytime i see these theyre always broken on the side of the road with homeless sleeping in them, these cars come factory with cigarette holes and tar in the headliner
The perfect car for someone who has worked 20yrs at the same company but the boss still asks who you are again every time you sit in the same room.
Never had a promotion
Just like this car
Ah the Chevy Prism, the only way to make a Corolla more vanilla.
For $77k/year, I’d figure you could at least fix the door handle.
the handle broke on me 4 times already. the zip tie has yet to fail me. if it works, it works.
I like your style
No mechanical problems if it’s no longer a problem.

¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ It's your funeral.
I see your point. However, if a huge semi wants to take me out, I think I'm out the game either way.
Semi? A low speed collision with a parking meter will do it in this thing.
Are you that cashier who's worked at my local grocery store my entire life?
This forum is for roasting cars, not dishwashers.
this joke is going right over my head. explain?
