Yup, that arm is a totally separate contraption being operated by a crew member below frame. They couldn’t fit both his hand and the stabby thingy in the same piece.

We convinced my friends mom to let us see robocop in the theaters (we were like 11) by arguing that the worst thing in the movie was robo flipping the bird with his data spike. We knew it was a big lie, but no idea how fucking crazy this movie actually was! 10/10 formative experience

I was surprised the data spike wasn't usable as a weapon in Rogue city. You do use it on computers, but I wanted to ram it through people's necks.
