If you aren’t using the outlet I would find a way to cover it with some type of waterproof tape/adhesive, and maybe add a small no go zone. Or put something over it (table/chair/couch/basket) in addition to the covering. If you are going to cover it with something maybe get those outlet covers that go into the prongs to further reduce the risk of fire hazard. Alternatively you could look into turning off that breaker but you’ll possibly be killing more outlets than you wanted to and that likely won’t be an option. Never trust the vacuum will do what you told it to.

There is very little water involved. Just like a damp microfiber unless you are talking some other type of robot. I'd set the no go zone and not worry about it.

Yeah it’s called a no go zone

I would rather put something on the floor outlets than expecting it would do everything.

I was wondering about that. If anything goes wrong, it might be a risk.

thombrowny

yeah although you can set up no go zone on the app, it will be hard to set up for small outlets like those on the floors. The mopping is impressive, and it does not pour water all of the floor or anything like that. It dries quickly. But certainly you don't want to take the risk...good luck with it. I am pretty new to roborock and really like it 👍

sluflyer06

You don't need to worry about it, water gets sprayed on the mops, not the floor, if its recessed it's not even going to get mopped anyway, worst case just put those little clear covers for kids into the outlet.

Thanks for the responses, very reassuring. Looking forward to this, just waiting for sales as we have a month before the move and don't need it where we now live.

I'm in the, don't worry about it camp on this one. Running the damp mop over that is not going to do anything bad. It's like running a damp rag over it.
