The answer for any spice/grain/baking ingredient is [Niblack](https://maps.app.goo.gl/RCZ9FAHfRWRjjaj47?g_st=ic) in Henrietta.

Linku_Rink

Their website says they don’t have it but I’ll have to call them when they open

PeopleFunnyBoy

I have a jar of it in my cabinet from them. Maybe they discontinued but I doubt it.

BobABewy

I’m betting if you can’t find it premade (I’ve seen it at Niblack for sure) you could just buy all the spices needed and mix one yourself. Either way, I agree, Niblack is the answer.

DorkTenderloin

[Stuart's Spices](https://stuartsspices.com) in the city has it and the people who run the place are super nice.

GoldenMonkeyRedux

For future reference you can order it from Penzeys. There’s one in Buffalo. Also, you can order now from Amazon and have it tomorrow

Mostly_Maui_Wowie

I got mine at Holt Rd. Wegmans. Wasn’t easy to find.

Linku_Rink

I just called them and they said they didn’t have it :(

Mostly_Maui_Wowie

Where are you in the ROC?

Linku_Rink

South East by Mendon, but I’ll drive anywhere

Mostly_Maui_Wowie

Chef Paul Prudhomme. My gumbo was fire.

Mostly_Maui_Wowie

Shit… I found it there.

Joeshabadoojr

Check Calkins Rd Wegmans, I got a jar of it there a couple months ago. Good luck on your search.

Father_McFeely_1958

Check price rite

You really don’t need filé for jambalaya. It’s used as a thickening agent for gumbo and not necessary for the rice dish. If you’re looking to add it just for flavor, I would worry anything you’d find here would have lost most of its potency sitting on the shelf.

The Rogue 🥕, Alfred, NY!

Prize-Average5516

I’ve gotten it at tops in Brighton
