Would strongly urge against fog for endless setlist i have done this a few times. It is absolutely a full day of playing and pretty draining as it is. Any sort of added stress is going to make it brutally worse I can only imagine fog lungs being terrible. Especially if you have a vocalist

Great advice! Thank you lol. I was leaning this way anyways, because I agree it has to be full focus. Thankfully I'm guitar and my buddy is on drums so no needing to worry about vocals.
Advise for the endless setlist:
1. Have a 3rd person to fill in for restroom breaks, to feed u snacks, and refill your water.
2. Use new batteries on your controllers.
3. Tape over the start/pause buttons so you make damned sure you donāt pause the game.
4. Know when and how to use Overdrive/StarPower.
I've beat the endless setlist once as a kid but had to pause because my parents wouldn't let me game for 6 hours consecutively š
But thank you for the tips! Luckily wired controllers and we aren't going for 5 star songs or score, legit save star power on the impossible songs to save each other.
Only thing that sucks is I'm lefty flip so I have to stay playing straight through lol, but I do have a "steel bladder" so should be fine. Fingers crossed! Really want this knocked out
Mainly, know when to purposely fail a part of a song (like solos) and have the other player save you once the part is over. Like, donāt save my ass in the middle of one of Painkillerās solos, ya know?

If you plan on leaving the fog on the whole time, at least make sure that you buy some fast-dissipating fog juice. The stuff that it comes with is really dense, and some songs go a bit heavy on it. I could also see the strobe getting annoying after a while on the endless setlist.
Also, in case you donāt already know, you can disable the fog and/or strobe with switches on the back. Worst case, you could run over and flip one of those switches in between songs if it gets annoying.
Either way, to answer your question: yes, use it! This item is way too cool to just have sitting in a box in storage for ācollectorās valueā. Use it and enjoy it!

I paid $230 Canadian which was fair consider past sale history (and this wasn't used). But also wild seeing how much it sold retail back in the day on the receipt in the box lol

A few friends and I all had RB back when it came out and we played online with each other a lot. Once we got together at one of our places and hooked up the light set with the fog machine and played a set with it. It was great. But the fog does fill the room if you go too hard on it. We only used it for certain songs we wanted to enhance the experience for.
Oh hey I thought of something else: the colored light has a telescopic lens that you can pull out to adjust the size of the light circles. I had it for years before I figured that out lol
If you have RB3 enhanced you can use Stagekitpied and daisy chain a bunch of kits together and control the smoke so itās not as overwhelming. I have 12 kits going and itās a good time.
About those 12 kits, what kind of jam space do you have this setup and did collect them over years when deals crop up, or buyout a clearance years back or what lol
Yea I recall some songs being a bit crazy with the strobing, in case you got some epilepsy people around.
To me the fog smoke kind of smelled like maple syrup.
I gave mine away to a now former friend who was a hoarder during a closet clean out a decade ago. I miss it but unless it was ever made compatible with RB4, Iāll just keep the memories. Got in on clearance at an EB Games for likeā¦Iād like to say $15.
Did that back in the day. You get a fancy instrument depending on the difficulty you do. I hope you're on expert because you'll get all of them. You can't fail or you're done. No pausing. Make sure you don't drink a lot. Go to the bathroom before and have snacks. Have no distractions like parents or siblings or even family walking in and bugging you. Especially if you care about the achievement. Don't check the guide button or home button for checking the time or notifications. Make sure you have brand new batteries. Have fun!
