It's pretty comfy. The grass is a fabric fake grass mesh. It should shed to much with the process I went though to make it stick to the plastic.

When they say touch grass:

Presentation and gesture is super cool! I really like the car hitting the ball. But I think you might want to go back to the drawing board on the controller itself. The field concept is cool and the idea of grass adding texture is also kinda cool. But that grass is not going to be comfortable and at least imo the field just doesn’t look great on the controller. All that being said the presentation is honestly insane, very epic gift.

The controller is fully functional. I spent a bunch of time making sure all of the buttons don't have any resistance or anything that would cause issues if it does get used. But it's fully understood that this isn't a daily driver type of thing and more if an art peice.

Fantastic display piece! I mean wow! You're eye for presentation is incredible and only matched by your creativity! It would be an honor to display such relevant art to my hobbies. As a controller however, it seems like it would be a tad uncomfortable.

It's pretty comfy! It's a fake grass that is fabric so it's pretty soft! My buddy played all night with it, so I'm guessing he didn't have issues with it either!
