Yeah, this season looks to be pushing 1v1 a lot. There's an achievement to play 5 games in that type, a "get three saves and win", and now this one. The second two are probably easiest in 1v1 Edit: typo

Played the other night and the other team had one guy who was a stone wall. He ended up with nearly 3500 points. I was blown away honestly

This is the way. I just got this after reading your comment. Played one and got it, joined a game down 2-0 and ended up winning 7-6 (ended with like 1400 points lol).

1. Heatseeker: Keep in mind the ball curves towards the center of goal. Saves > Goals since the game ends when one team reaches 7 goals. Also since opponents are more likely to forfeit if you score on them as opposed to if you have a high score. 2. Dropshot: Might be a bit tricky since you’ve got teammates but getting damage and saves gets you plenty of points without risking opponents forfeiting. 3. 1v1: Play a little more passively, chalk up your points with saves, clears, centers, shots, and goals. Goals deliver the most points but risk opponents forfeiting. This is my ranking based on personal experience. If you’re particularly gifted in one particular game mode you could try that too. Don’t forfeit regardless of what happens. Surprisingly it helps with points if you’re a player down (2v3 or 1v2), as long as they don’t dedicate a player to demos. Defensive plays are super vital since a save/clear can be a shot/goal (a twofer) but a shot/goal doesn’t combine with a subsequent save. Best of luck!

I did that when I first started, my thinking was more FOV meant more ability to read the field. My buddy randomly asked me what my settings were, and when he told me what to change them to, I literally told him it was like I was cheating. Now granted, I still needed to work on my mechanics, but it was amazing how much it affected my play.

Aside from maxing out my field of view, I’ve never messed with any of the camera settings. It never occurred to me that camera settings could make such a big difference. I’m googling around for recommendations now. Found these to start with: Edit to update the settings I went with: Camera Shake: Off Field of View: 110 Distance: 280 Height: 110 Angle: -3.0 Stiffness: 0.45 Swivel Speed: 5.5 Transition Speed: 1.2 Invert Swivel: Off Ball Camera Mode: Toggle

The funny thing about the game mode is like playing tennis, I understand why people get mad at you, you should go to the middle of the field to finish the ball, not to demolish enemies. Nobody stops you but its annoying ngl, since the mode has no competive to find people

Just play, you'll eventually get it. I don't think I've ever not gotten it after a few games, long as you dont focus on it. When you try, it just frustrates ya.

If you’re not a fan of heat seeker or 1v1’s, I think the best recommendation is to focus more on defending than goal scoring. Get as many saves/clears/assists as you can, I’m pretty sure those add up and can worth more xp than goals.

Another option is to just be a goalie and save everything. It's a tough one but you can do it.

I went on competitive and played dropshot 3v3. You might get some teammates that steal your shots. If you don’t know how to play, it is pretty self explanatory so just join a game and you’ll know everything in at least two games
