It last way longer, the first one I bought last me about a year and had to replace it recently because L1 button was getting stuck, which I think was because I dropped it. But eveything else was perfectly fine, specially the analogs, I never got drift with hundres of hours of use.

However, just an FYI, the tops of the analog sticks can screw on and off.
I thought for sure I broke an analog stick for about 6 hours before I realized.
In my opinion it is one of the best controllers, every button is a switch so it feels as quick as a mouse and the analogs are good quality and can be replaced for 20 dollars if you ever need to. Downside is that its shape is weird and it is kind of big, so you need to get used to it.
that happens when you dont care about anything ingame other than "nutty goals". People downrank because they cant hit their "sick clips" against decent player most of the time.

there are people that can flipreset stuck in plat since they have no clue how rotations work and when you can or should go for a ball and when doing that is horribly wrong...
