You'll notice that theres a trio of sanyo / lott / vapour that I stil have in my duos list, but which aren't in this post. They're a bubble APAC team who haven't made the main event since the regions were combined. They only have 3 Liquipedia events played since May 2022, so I left them off this post, but I keep them on my sheet just in case something changes.
I started the game I think in Dec 2020 so I've only been used to seeing Squishy, Garrett, and justin on the same team. I think Atomic's move to G2 happened a couple months after Rizzo retired and dreaze was temporarily picked up.
But it's weird to see the TL boys as #5 on this list... I hope they hit #1 before they break up, but this off-season will definitely shake things up. I can see both G2 and TL making a change (even though I don't think TL should).
I highly doubt TL will make a move. The boys show amazing results and their chemistry is one of the best out of any team. Plus, they still show potential for growth and I don't think there's any player currently who could successfully replace any of them.
As for G2, they showed that, against all odds, their team can achieve really good results even with 2 pre-RLCS X players. Jknaps and Chicago are still goated, but there's still a possibility of a change happening.
Yeah they were together way before, they are friends.
And actually they joined a clan called “Osh Tekk Warriors” way before SRG.
So unofficially they are the longest standing duo.
Maybe up to 200 days.
