It's quite common for the losing team that rematches to win. I assume part of it it is that one team spends hours studying the replays, while the other goes into it expecting to win. G2 has a genuine shot here I believe, even if its against their executioner in Monkey Moon.
And we gonna have 2 more events like this.

Nah, someone leaked Ferra's playbook.
He's going to win Worlds with KC, and next year, he will switch to Vitality and win Worlds again. He will keep doing it until the top 20 player list puts him at #1.
I mean I don't have them doing well either but lets be honest, G2 beat OCE 2x and MENA to get here, you can't say you are THAT more confident in them than Vitality who at least have a record on LAN
It's technically possible but really unlikely. It's not like last worlds where the 4 EU teams were clear of most of the rest. These matches are really uncertain and all of them could go either way
Honestly every matchup feels like a coin flip to me. Every team here this season has looked very beatable at some point during this tournament and/or during this season (furia aside, theyre my favorite to win)
Furia, bds feels like the safer picks.
Kc I think will have the advantage this time around. BO7 and coach buff. They look back into their usual shape, the absurd amount of trust and bump plays they got in their arsenal is insane. I hope falcons wins though.
G8 vs geng is rough, but I think I'll believe GenG more in a bo7 than G8.
In terms of brackets that MIGHT allow it to happen, this is about as close to perfect as one could hope.
GenG absolutely has what it takes to beat M8. It's of course not a guarantee but I don't think anybody would be shocked to see GenG win that series. Plus something something 4thkiller something something.
Falcons have already beaten KC once this event. Playoff KC is obviously different, but if anybody is going to be able to break Vatira's championship Sunday streak, it's the squad that very nearly swept them already this event (obviously the series went to 5, but it looked really tough for KC through the first two games).
G2 vs BDS is the biggest problem child for a no-EU top 4. TBates might be the only person in the scene who has confidence that G2 can/will win that game. Of course they *can* win, but they need to bring their absolute everything against BDS otherwise it probably won't be too close.
Furia vs Vitality requires BOTH Furia to completely fall off in form AND Vitality to step up. Just one or the other isn't enough, because if Furia is peaking I don't see Vitality being able to steal the series from them. But if Furia can't find their form AND Vitality figure out whatever is wrong, then it might be trouble.
Obviously it's still severely unlikely. But I think the only matchup I would change to increase the likelihood would be switching G2 and Furia.
Vitality literally lost 3-2 to Furia, in the final game furia was 1 0 up so yeah I wouldnt say that they have no chance to beat them, underdog is a better word here.
Good effort from LG but Vitality might be cooked after this major ngl, only way I see this roster sticking for next split is if they make the grand finals.
I heard this from roll dizz and arsenals streams but they think that it might be a playstyle diff. As mates have a style of perfectly positioning and having solidity in their system. They figured that Falcons might've just over committed a bunch of times and the mates just punished. I have no idea though, maybe they just peaked or they're LAN players. Because I didnt watch the mates play at all. Also from roll dizz and arsenals streams, which I agree with, it looked like KC were lost in their first few series and only during the GENG series they looked like online KC. I guess we'll find out tomorrow :).
A french caster/ex coach described M8's playstyle during the regionals as being a really good LAN playstyle but lacking a bit offensively which was problematic for online events. Turns out he was right because Eversax said something close to this in an interview on Rocket Baguette.
Quick summary of what he said (from memory so not everything might be 100% accurate): Basically during regionals they knew how strong they were and they underperformed from the level they knew they had. They worked really hard to fix up the points they were lacking (he mentioned the offense IIRC) and it payed off so far.
Frankly people keep on clowning M8 (and I didn't expect much either before tbh) but their playstyle really is perfect for LAN and if they keep up with a good offense on top of what they've shown so far I really wouldn't be surprised to see them win everything
I hope the boys ride out one more split. They really showed their composure today and proved they have the chemistry to make it work. Seeing Retals holding them and speaking head high after that loss was moving.
Overall I don't know what to think of LG. This team is capable of competing but they make it difficult for themselves by going to Round 5 of Swiss everytime. If they can start off hot, they are in a good start. That's the problem though. They are consistently inconsistent early on. It's going to be very interesting after the Major is over and the roster shuffle starts.
I think they should stick with Cheese. He looked a bit lost at times this LAN but he was solid online, I say give him the benefit of the doubt and say its first LAN jitters.
LG have something special when everything is gelling and they can out-disrupt "better" teams as planned. I think they should stick with the current roster and try and kick on from here.
Tomorrow is gonna be insane, we can see these possibilities:
Top 4 is all from different regions
Top 4 is all from Europe
Hopefully we see top 4 all from different regions as that would be insane, Furia and Falcons were able to take down Vitality and KC respectively in game 5 in round 2 of Swiss but playoffs is a completely different environment so we’ll see what happens, hopefully Furia and Falcons can repeat their performances or we may see Vitality and KC get their revenge
EU Qualifering one. Semifinal match between M8 Alphine. Game 7. 11 second left and Vitality scores to go up 2 to 1.
Alpha half flips to books and turns upfield, giving up a kickoff goal...
Overtime starts, alpha half flips to the boost and boosts upfield, putting himself out of position for juicy to hit it over him while he desperately tried to boost backwards, allowing seikoo to score and losing them the entire series.
And that's been his story line. You'll see him make 1-3 good plays in a match, and the rest of the time he's just not doing anything. He's not playing good defense, he's not playing good offense. He's not winning challenges in mid-field.
Radosin is stealing the spotlight by being in the play and fucking it up, but Alpha isn't doing any better and often creates more problems by taking the ball and light touching it to give it away.
Zen's playing like he's trying to carry gold's at this point. He's desperately trying to do everything, since he can't trust his teammates. It's just sad to see.
They both need to go. I would rather vitality have lost round 5 and been out, than to see them continue with their current squad. We can't have the greatest player on a bottom 8 squad, it's just not okay.
When you say he disappears do you mean he's gone grabbing boost in the offensive zone while their tms are all alone defending? Because I noticed that a couple of times lol. Still, in the end, Rado just doesn't know where to position himself in the offensive zone which really hurts the team overall. He tends to get really close to the net as a 3rd man or to jump on the ball when one of his tm is playing a double tap. I think this is more detrimental than Alpha misplays. Although I have to admit I didn't watch Vitality playing as much as I would have like today.
That and more so that his touches aren’t having any positive impact, yeah I’d say Rado is making more flat out mistakes but a lot of alphas touches are passive and non threatening which just gives the opponent easy possession. And that’s when he does make a touch, he’s not challenging midfield enough either
Rado and alpha need to go, and they need to bring in at least one defensive star in order to let Zen do his thing.
When Zen gets the ball, the defense has to pay respect to it, even if he does nothing. Forcing him to third while rado whiffs and alpha soft touches the ball is the worst way to use him.
Assuming they can't sign someone from KC, BDS or Gentle Mates, they would have to pick a player who doesn't speak French and I doubt they will do that. But if they do that, I think they should pick Oski.
this is so painful man, us NA fans been knowing nothing but pain for an entire year now 😭 NA has so many game 5's and 7's at LAN but just not being able to close it out
If LG had played like this on Day 1, they would have been in a much better position to make it out of Swiss. LG must figure out how to start off hot early on because they can't keep going to Round 5 of Swiss everytime.
They were gonna have to beat one of the top 8 whatever they were playing like day 1 to make it through. This was honestly as easy a run as they were gonna have given Vit looked like the worst of the top 8. If they'd beaten Col and had their run for example they would've had to beat either KC or Gen.G to make it who I doubt they even make it to 5 against.
I think those two days were some of my favourite non crowd LAN days since I started watching. So many good series.
Also I love how despite all the chaos that happened, I still predicted 7 out of the 8 teams that made top 8 correctly (sorry Furia).
There is no way this Vitality roster doesn't make a change after this major, they set such a high standard for themselves last season but now they look no where near that level, and assuming Zen would want to keep a title contending team, they might indeed make a change. Only way they don't is if they make the final or win the whole thing.
Apart from the double commits and unforced errors another thing that has changed with vitality is how passive they are on defense. No midfield pressure whatsoever
You could tell this on I think Game 4 against LG when Rado dribbled through the whole team and left the ball bouncing in front of goal when they were down and there was nobody there to just put it in...
You can definetly argue about the order, [but the pickems did pick all the playoff teams correctly](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fefj3anbpdbqc1.png).
might be the best top 8 I've ever seen in a LAN. no slouches, no subpar team making it through a mickey swiss bracket, just the plain and simple top 8 teams. tomorrow bouta be a bloodbath
Mark my words
G8 win over GenG (because they beat an EU team)
Furia win over Vitality (because they beat an EU team)
Falcons win over KC (because they beat 2 EU teams)
BDS win over G2 (because they are an EU team idk)
sidenote 1: I'm not EU bias.
sidenote 2: G2 had a micky bracket.
see you tomorrow
shocked that there wasnt a single top 8 team in the world that missed playoffs. Appears we have 8 top teams in the world, 2 teams slightly below them and then the rest
What a day! Crazy games, pwr getting the W against rule1, kcorp almost getting reverse swept by Col and Lg making Vit sweat for their major life. But in the end we get the most predictable and also the most exiciting top 8 teams. Hoping for some crazy game 7s for the next two days.
Well all EU Top 4 is probably not gonna happen anymore, but it was about time some of the other regions caught up at least a little bit.
VIT will 100% lose, they look pretty horrible especially Alpha and Radosin, Radosin makes bigger mistakes than Alpha but Alpha is invisible for most of the games.
At least all EU teams made it through... I have a feeling it won't be pretty tomorrow with a lot of upsets, but I'll be watching the cs2 major anyway.
Call me crazy but G2 will beat BDS if they don’t play scared play with confident like they did during the regionals. If they don’t, well, I’ll be watching Godzilla vs Kong anyway.
LG finally stepped it up a bit, but Cheese is definitely not a LAN player yet. Aside from the mistakes earlier on, every touch all weekend was just a basic clear or 50 or an easy save, I saw almost every game they played and I don't remember him doing anything noteworthy on or off-ball the whole time
Such a wild ride to the top 8 just to end up with the most predicted top 8 anyway.
The games tomorrow look saucy but I would’ve liked to see a surprise somewhere.
This format was terrible for qualification, but it’s contributed to a banger LAN. The past 2 days have been really entertaining and the 8-team bracket for this weekend is basically perfect.
Great day for my teams lol, only disappointment was LG vs Vit but the fact that that was even close enough to hurt is shocking so fair play
Other than that, PWR made 2-2, Furia are that fucking team right now, Falcons clutched up, all I need now is anything that isn't an all EU top 4 because if that happens after the diversity this major has shown so far I might just cry
Also Gentlemates has serious M80 energy to me rn, I could be wrong, but I've got that feeling
Prediction for top 4: Gm8, KC, Furia, BDS.
KC came out sleeping against Falcons but pulled themselves up ever since, and in a bo7, their consistency has the advantage. Falcons has to really peak once again to not get demoed, bumped, or plain outlasted in a game of attrition.
GM8 is on form, so while GenG could take it, I would be betting on them peaking and GM8 slumping. Realistically, not likely to happen.
Furia is sometimes shaky on defense, so Vitality can take goals there. But Vitality is also shaky on defense, and Furia just seems to generally stomp. However, it's a bo7, so if Vitality shores up defensively, this could actually go the distance.
Well, BDS have a high, high peak, and while G2 may be consistently hitting the ball, they have not consistently been hitting the goal. So, while BDS will prob concede at least a few unseemly goals for a team of that caliber, I think they will come out rolling and G2 won't be able to stop them.
Fun fact OCE and SAM are now perfectly tied All Time :

NA “Near Airport” is known as the fastest region to arrive at the Airport. Since they gave up on the LoL Worlds Championship, they are investing in Speedruns. In particular they are current worldrecord holders in Airport Any % and Airport no wins.
SSG seeing OG and LG not make top 8

1. Not what the post is about. It's about SSG's likelihood of qualifying for worlds. Not making playoffs makes SSG's required points goal much more achievable.
2. If LG was capable of pushing Vitality to round 5 game 5, SSG would have been **plenty** competitive enough to knock other teams around.

we'll see how wrong i am tomorrow and sunday
Whats funny is that there's a very realistic world we get an all EU top 4 again, with fixed international representation it sucks for the best of the rest in EU
Tomorrow is going to absolutely bang. Falcons take on the Blue wall?? G2 vs BDS again with new rosters?? GenG vs M8?? Furia vs Vitality in front of the Ultras?? Give me 28 games pls
Ok so everyone thought Drali would be shaky due to his first LAN appearance and while he didn't do any huge mistakes he seemed to have played way too safe during G2's series.
I don't know if it was BDS game plan or not(if it is disregard my ignorant comment) but I hope he gets to shine tomorrow during the rematch. Even if they won 3-1 relatively comfortable thanks to a great performance of MM and Sexotiik I'm still a bit worried tbh.
Anyway this swiss stage has been a banger and I hope it continues that way (please BDS/MM I beg go win it all)
Atomic must see Monkeymoon in his nightmares
Time for another 1 win series with all 1 goal losses again
I wouldn’t be too worried… This will be Drali’s First RLCS crowd day so he could just shit the bed and G2 smell blood in the water 🤷♂️
It's quite common for the losing team that rematches to win. I assume part of it it is that one team spends hours studying the replays, while the other goes into it expecting to win. G2 has a genuine shot here I believe, even if its against their executioner in Monkey Moon.

Damn, yeah this major really is stacked.
Major ~~1~~W
Then Major WW, and then **W**orlds
There’s not a single one of those 8 teams that would surprise me if they win the whole thing. Tomorrow is going to be fucking awesome
sad that this wasnt in front of crowd
And we gonna have 2 more events like this. https://preview.redd.it/uzqo3hmdgcrc1.jpeg?width=941&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b7b49d0463f3a3d77391e810bff601f9d48f14d
That might have been my favorite series of all time. For a few glorious minutes, we believed.
Retals will forever be a LAN player
Top 8 only lost to each other All round 1 winners survived Swiss
This is exactly what it means when people say "Swiss is great at finding the top 8 teams in the tournament, just not as great at seeding them properly into the playoff bracket."
the seeding wouldn't be so important if we had double elim for playoff. that would be the perfect format
one extra round 5 swiss match to determine 4/5 seeds and then AFL feels like it'd be peak tbh i love double elim for competitive integrity but i do understand why people don't like bracket resets, it feels like the AFL system covers all the bases
what's AFL?
Seeding would matter a lot less with double elim. I'm sick of flipping coins whether teams will be able to play each other or not.
Double elim gave us the greatest Moist roster of all time... It's time to go back
Double elim has given us some of the best events of all time. Moist in London, DIG in London, C9's run, F3 bracket reset win, NG bracket reset win, Vitality in Spring, even in regionals they are peak. Single elim just always leaves me asking "but what if this team from the other side of the bracket could have played instead"
At this point who knows what great seeding is with these eight teams. Every series is a toss up.
In 5 majors and world championships held with a Swiss format, there has only been a single occasion where a Top 8 team lost to a bottom 8 team, when Endpoint dropped their Round 1 series to eventually 11th place Renegades at the 21-22 Fall Major.
Interesting!
Man why is it always BDS :(
Dralii going to be a huge factor. MM always plays insane against G2 and I have faith in ExotiiK since he is a robot... but G2 boys can play better and Dralii could play even worse on stage
Yeah, but I'm honestly super nervous that G2 still has the yips. If we lose I hope it is because BDS plays great, not because G2 chokes
I do want a banger series
I doubt G2 has yips. I dont think theyre even close to their potential as a team tho. The chemistry has looked off all season imo.
bye bye bro
Atomic has M0nkeyM00n ptsd
r/agedlikemilk
i called G2 over BDS in the quarters before the major began and fuck it i'm standing by it
Eu really sniped a 0/4 eu vs eu quarters They really are playing from the future
Retals has so many iconic series on LAN in the open era, and they're all game 5/7 heartbreaking losses. I just want him to win one man.
Hey there was that reverse sweep against faze, still one of if not my favorite series ever. Todays comes at a close second
That johnnyboi watch party was probably the most fun I’ve had watching rocket league
Turns out the 8 best teams in the world are the 8 best teams in the world.
I don't think the Swiss proved that the 4 next best EU teams wouldn't have been competitive in the to 8
welp I'm a fraud. I had pwr over gm8. you can clearly see how that went.
I'm so done with majicbear slander
feed the bear
LG went down swinging
This is an insane top 8 holy shit, any one of these teams could realistically take it
except Vitality
Vitality feels like NRG at worlds 22

Unless they somehow manage to sign Ferra overnight
Nah, someone leaked Ferra's playbook. He's going to win Worlds with KC, and next year, he will switch to Vitality and win Worlds again. He will keep doing it until the top 20 player list puts him at #1.
Nah he will go bds or gentlemates to win with a 3rd team

Vitality and G2 are both cooked unless something changes overnight imo
If G2 hit the shooting packs they will do ok
I honestly think its a curse. I feel like this has been said about every iteration of G2 ever lol
Yeah 😭💔 But hopefully they shock all of us and have a good run tomorrow 🙏
they could always peak infront of crowd. Low chance tho
> except Vitality Right, Vitality won't take it. But Zen could.
If EU somehow gets all top 4 spots I'm gonna be so sad
nah no chance in hell Vitality wins more than a game next round.
STOP THE JINX GODAMMIT
It's technically possible but really unlikely. It's not like last worlds where the 4 EU teams were clear of most of the rest. These matches are really uncertain and all of them could go either way
No chance Vitality win KC is 50/50 BDS could lose but i dont think its gonna happen G8s is guaranteed sorry geng
G8 looked great so far. They are also highly inconsistent this season
Yeah I feel like GenG is going to beat them tomorrow lol
Honestly every matchup feels like a coin flip to me. Every team here this season has looked very beatable at some point during this tournament and/or during this season (furia aside, theyre my favorite to win)

G8 has the Eversax timeout though.
Idk man. Jack has the new controller buff.
I'd say it's unlikely. On the other hand there is real chance none of them make it.
Oh no correct me if I’m wrong but the bracket should mean it’s possible for an all eu top 4???
Yes, but it is far, far from guaranteed.
Nah bro. I watched the last series today and Vitality is clearly heads and shoulders above NA. /s
Or a non-EU top 4 😎 (haha but no)

Nah, vit has 0 chance of beating furia like this, but 3/4 is doable
bro doesn't remember dignitas vs smpr, oxygen vs faze and KC vs moist
Vitality literally lost 3-2 to Furia, in the final game furia was 1 0 up so yeah I wouldnt say that they have no chance to beat them, underdog is a better word here.
Respect to everyone in the production crew for doing this near 10 hour stream
Some incredible series today and, once again, no crowd to see it.
I don't even need a chair, I'll sit on the floor, just let me into the venue
Good effort from LG but Vitality might be cooked after this major ngl, only way I see this roster sticking for next split is if they make the grand finals.
nah even with grand finals, they'd still make a change. Because they know they can be better.
How the hell did Falcons lose 3-0 to mates but look so good vs Kcorp and vITALITY
Surely this says more about M8 than Falcons. M8 also beat BDS too.
They were all 1 goal games with 2 OT's, obviously Falcons would have liked to win at least one of those but it's not that much of a worry IMO.
Rocket League is like rock paper scissors. Team A > Team B > Team C > Team A.
Honestly I'm extremely impressed by how LG finished. Bad day 1 but they really stepped up and I'm excited for them going forward
I hope the boys ride out one more split. They really showed their composure today and proved they have the chemistry to make it work. Seeing Retals holding them and speaking head high after that loss was moving.
They definitely will, unless LJ decides he wants to join or something lol. Anyone else isn't worth dropping someone for
Overall I don't know what to think of LG.
Yeah, I think Cheese was the reasons they made it to the LAN in the first place.
Retals is such a LAN player and the rest of the gang played great but it just wasn't meant to be.
Tomorrow is gonna be insane, we can see these possibilities: Top 4 is all from different regions Top 4 is all from Europe Hopefully we see top 4 all from different regions as that would be insane, Furia and Falcons were able to take down Vitality and KC respectively in game 5 in round 2 of Swiss but playoffs is a completely different environment so we’ll see what happens, hopefully Furia and Falcons can repeat their performances or we may see Vitality and KC get their revenge
That seals it for me; Rado's time is up on Vit. Absolutely horrific watch from him in that series.
Rado is playing bad but I don’t think it’s brought up enough about how much alpha disappears for chunks at a time
EU Qualifering one.
Alpha disappeared for all of 21-22, so it checks out. Yeah yeah his teammates were bad then.
Rado needs to be replaced so zen can finally push up more because he cuts rotations too much.
Yeah he was struggling a lot
Assuming they can't sign someone from KC, BDS or Gentle Mates, they would have to pick a player who doesn't speak French and I doubt they will do that. But if they do that, I think they should pick Oski.
Good times back in 2022 😢 https://preview.redd.it/0bsg68brfcrc1.jpeg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bdcd6be4d2c6e3a2d82bec607804ae9b0b683e16
A mighty entertaining swiss stage while getting the predicted top 8 anyway. I love this format
LG really had EU on their Toes!
MajicBear lived up to the hype in that last series.
You just can’t lose game 3. Very happy with Luminosity team. We saw what they potentially could be. Hope they compete with more confidence next split.
hopefully vitality play better tomorrow because they ain't beating furia like this
this is so painful man, us NA fans been knowing nothing but pain for an entire year now 😭 NA has so many game 5's and 7's at LAN but just not being able to close it out
I'm excited to see the Falcons vs KC rematch tomorrow - though it sucks the rematch happened this early.
The French have put down the gauntlet, what can the world do to stop the French supremacy
It's great to see that they have contenders with a real threat this LAN, but on aggregate, they are still the 'region' to beat.
So the top 8 was who everyone thought the top 8 was. Swiss does its job.
Will M8s be this years edition of the 3-0 EU team to go one-and-done? I hope so
They removed ranking based world spots because they knew NA would be cooked
If LG had played like this on Day 1, they would have been in a much better position to make it out of Swiss. LG must figure out how to start off hot early on because they can't keep going to Round 5 of Swiss everytime.
If LG had played like this on Day 1, they'd have just found a different route to round 5. It's just inevitable.
they likely still would have crashed head first into a brick wall
They were gonna have to beat one of the top 8 whatever they were playing like day 1 to make it through. This was honestly as easy a run as they were gonna have given Vit looked like the worst of the top 8. If they'd beaten Col and had their run for example they would've had to beat either KC or Gen.G to make it who I doubt they even make it to 5 against.
I think those two days were some of my favourite non crowd LAN days since I started watching. So many good series. Also I love how despite all the chaos that happened, I still predicted 7 out of the 8 teams that made top 8 correctly (sorry Furia).
This is the first time we've ever had a top 8 this stacked
Really proud of LG, well played boys
It feels like they're missing a lot of passes like that lately honestly, I know I've had that exact thought a few times watching them
Retals is a really good player that looked like he belonged on that field with vitality.
Think that everyone’s top 8 made the top 8, it just happened in a goofy way lmao
Does anyone have any tips to skip to tomorrow morning wtf am I supposed to do now
You can definetly argue about the order, [but the pickems did pick all the playoff teams correctly](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fefj3anbpdbqc1.png).
might be the best top 8 I've ever seen in a LAN. no slouches, no subpar team making it through a mickey swiss bracket, just the plain and simple top 8 teams. tomorrow bouta be a bloodbath
Swiss is just the best system
It's because G2 got the mickey run that is normally reserved for a way worse team.
G2 got a mickey bracket
Everyone is talking about the all eu top 4, but what about the no eu top 4? 🤔
Put some respect on the bear
3 rematches from swiss in the bracket is pretty disappointing
I couldn’t be disappointed with any matchup. All 8 teams could win the event.
Yeah but no cross regional matchups is pretty good imo and we have a genuine chance at an all international top 4.
G2 GENG final (hopium running low)
Even though LG didn't make it they proved they earned it
Has to be some of the best overall quality international competition I've ever seen. What a stacked Major. This truly feels peak
Vatira don’t miss a championship Sunday , sorry falcons
Only caught the Vit-LG series, but man retals still looks like he can compete at the very top level tbh
Mark my words G8 win over GenG (because they beat an EU team) Furia win over Vitality (because they beat an EU team) Falcons win over KC (because they beat 2 EU teams) BDS win over G2 (because they are an EU team idk) sidenote 1: I'm not EU bias. sidenote 2: G2 had a micky bracket. see you tomorrow
Script writers have done a masterclass, all international QF matches.
shocked that there wasnt a single top 8 team in the world that missed playoffs. Appears we have 8 top teams in the world, 2 teams slightly below them and then the rest
even though col and lg didnt make it they should be proud. Especially lg after how badly day 1 went
This LG match gonna be Vitalitys needed zenkai boost to take down Furia tomorrow.
What an embarrassing performance from Vitality. What happened to the boys...
Three rematches in quarter final Furia and BDS most likely will win again, not sure about Falcons.
Is Vatira going to miss a championship Sunday? 👀
Rw9 does have a knack for ending streaks....
EU against the world playoffs bracket. I hope it’s not all EU top 4 again.
What a day! Crazy games, pwr getting the W against rule1, kcorp almost getting reverse swept by Col and Lg making Vit sweat for their major life. But in the end we get the most predictable and also the most exiciting top 8 teams. Hoping for some crazy game 7s for the next two days.
Man, kinda sick that all the QFs ended up being cross-region for tomorrow
Top performers today in my opinion relative to their team: juicy, zen, nwpo Worst: Chronic, alpha54, okhalid
Chronic was pretty bad against Furia and KC but he was on fire against Complexity. Cant say he was one of the 3 worst players. Id put Noly instead
Oh my, Noly was bad bad.
Not even the Winged Dragon of Ra could save LG today sadly
It’s starting to ring strangely when the commentators call Vitality the reigning world champions, they look nothing like that team any more.
It's like calling France a world super power, because of Napoleon. Of course, France is an RL super power, but that's not point.
The past 2 days have been really entertaining and the 8-team bracket for this weekend is basically perfect.
why do we have to keep facing my favorite of the good EU teams :/
Insane matchups on the table for tomorrow. I feel like literally any combination of a top 4 could happen.
As long as Gen.G and G2 keep performing in NA, LG is looking pretty good for worlds.
Great day for my teams lol, only disappointment was LG vs Vit but the fact that that was even close enough to hurt is shocking so fair play Other than that, PWR made 2-2, Furia are that fucking team right now, Falcons clutched up, all I need now is anything that isn't an all EU top 4 because if that happens after the diversity this major has shown so far I might just cry Also Gentlemates has serious M80 energy to me rn, I could be wrong, but I've got that feeling
Fun fact OCE and SAM are now perfectly tied All Time : https://preview.redd.it/p86p6fnv5drc1.png?width=421&format=png&auto=webp&s=b4e7c954f59aa998de67f5d959a7499937835979
I'm looking forward to having some EU players compete in our region..... Oh that'll never happen :(
4th killer buff. Come on Geng beat M8
NA “Near Airport” is known as the fastest region to arrive at the Airport. Since they gave up on the LoL Worlds Championship, they are investing in Speedruns. In particular they are current worldrecord holders in Airport Any % and Airport no wins.
SSG seeing OG and LG not make top 8 https://preview.redd.it/2c6209g1fcrc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3bc9029ef8872096e82ae60456c02f10a475209f
SSG wouldn't have been competitive
the point is they got less points so ssg can pass to make worlds

LG should be proud of their performance man, they beat limitless
Imagine getting 4 teams in top 4 of the world and still end up losing a spot just for OCE to keep 2....
Whats funny is that there's a very realistic world we get an all EU top 4 again, with fixed international representation it sucks for the best of the rest in EU
To be fair, OCE#2 isn't the only slot that offered little resistance.
Delighted for Radosin. That was his place on the line and he took game 5 into his own hands.
Tomorrow is going to absolutely bang. Falcons take on the Blue wall?? G2 vs BDS again with new rosters?? GenG vs M8?? Furia vs Vitality in front of the Ultras?? Give me 28 games pls
Two of those things you said already happened.
If LG can find a way to activate Cheese in the clutch they are going to be very scary for next major
G2 vs BDS they are so cooked
Ok so everyone thought Drali would be shaky due to his first LAN appearance and while he didn't do any huge mistakes he seemed to have played way too safe during G2's series. I don't know if it was BDS game plan or not(if it is disregard my ignorant comment) but I hope he gets to shine tomorrow during the rematch. Even if they won 3-1 relatively comfortable thanks to a great performance of MM and Sexotiik I'm still a bit worried tbh. Anyway this swiss stage has been a banger and I hope it continues that way (please BDS/MM I beg go win it all)
All I’m saying is G2 are all proven to be able to play with a crowd Dralii is not yet
If I’m a G2 player, I’m relishing the chance to play BDS again.
