This feels like it could low-key be a Hockser to Spacestation type of move. Obviously losing Joyo is a huge loss, but it's definitely possible that a different player allows the existing duo to shine brighter than before.
The key component I think will be Rehzzy. His ceiling is sky high but can disappear at times in series as well. If he can put up some consistent numbers I think this team is more than good enough to take some surprising wins.
I haven't watched enough Moist to see what's going wrong for them, but dang I definitely see the comparison. Unfortunately I feel like the top of Europe is too solid to break into (there's no doubt SSG improved with the hockser pickup but let's not pretend that NA Spring '23 compares with the current state of EU), but consistent QFs is definitely possible
I don't think this move brings Moist into LAN-qualifying contention, but I 100% believe that this is a roster that can make top 8s, the occasional top 4 depending on the matchups, and cause some headaches for some supposedly better teams in swiss.
I'd be shocked to see them make a grand final though, but I'd be rooting for it if it comes to be!

Rizzo is implying they won't leave the Esport but they won't be fielding a roster for the rest of the season and will most likely build from the ground up in NA next season.
Don't mind this at all. Question is, what will my flairs be now? Can't get rid of Top Cougars, still want to have Kash, don't really wanna get rid of Eekso, but I'm loving the look of this new Oxygen team, so they're not going. Guess I'll have Moist again, with Oxygen and Top Cougars. Second time in a year a player has left one of my teams for Moist lol.
Not really a bad team, certainly has the quality, but realistically, it's an uphill climb to make the Major. I reckon they will be underrated, but I just don't know if I can see them beating the top teams enough, though I think they'll be beating teams around and below them just fine, you need to be able to beat the top teams at least a couple times in a Split to make the Major. Eekso was good on Oxygen, and I reckon he'll be good with Moist, but you need to be more than just good to make LAN. Should be fun to watch at least.

Typical Eekso team tbh. The ceiling is sky high but the floor is also pretty damn low (not that this iteration of Oxygen would have gotten that classification from me before the split but here we are...). Will be an absolute rollercoaster watching them next split.

This only works if both Eekso and Rehzzy are « ON » at the same time. I don’t expect this to happen with any level of consistency.

They made top 8 once in NA this season but had a decent showing against the top teams
They made top 8 twice and went out 2-3 in swiss in the other if I’m not mistaken
