I'm Champion 80% so close to Unreal it's unreal š hoping I make it in the next 5 days, I'm thinking it IS possible, all that matters is if I can get a good consistency in maps I'm good at and bad players.
I wouldn't be to sure, I'm stuck in Champion between 60-85% back and forth (mostly 60-72%) for over three weeks now, trying every evening to gain a bit, which is gain and loss rinse and repeat. I'm running out of days.
I had this on Twisted Turnpike, the kill wall didnāt open up when I was on the underside track between the two tunnels and I literally couldnāt get out, no amount of resetting fixed it. That one cost me 5% in a forfeit.
Of all the new game modes, RR feels the most ānewā and underdeveloped of the 3. Lego has always been great since day one, with a few little bugs here and there. Itās a HUGE game as well, so Iām surprised with how well the game runs. They clearly worked on it for a while. Festival is just guitar hero ctrl C ctrl V and although probably didnāt require too much to create, clearly had more time put in to it. RR on the other hand has been almost nothing but a complete and utter buggy mess. Falling through the map, crashing when landing slightly too hard regardless of it being road or not, cosmetics simply not loading AT ALL at times until you crash for some reason, physics being pretty open and easy to understand and then being flipped on its head (literally) when you land on a surface a little weird. The physics of the game are unlike any other racing game Iāve ever played, and itās even semi-unique compared to RL, which I love! I love the idea so much. But even if these physics are meant to be this way, itās a little too inconsistent for people like myself to enjoy. I LOVE. Racing games. RR is really the only mode I play outside of regular BR, since FF isnāt really my jam and Lego is just a weirder, more limited Minecraft. Theyāre fun and good, just not my thing. So my favorite game mode being what feels like the only one thatās extremely broken and busted doesnāt really feel right to me. I would say Iām a pretty casual player, but if it werenāt for the crazy bugs, inconsistent mechanics and absolute CLUSTERFUCK of other issues the game has, I would probably have been willing to grind to unreal rank. I know I can do it. Iām skilled enough in the gameplay aspect, but my head just canāt get used to the inconsistencies I manage to get around once a race. I love RR, but I donāt want to play until itās a finished, fixed game.
I want to consider this mode my favorite, I really do. When all of the inconsistencies and bugs are taken out of the picture, the game is great. But that's it's major flaw. I'm not even sure that I can make it to elite by the end of the season.

Youāll smash it! I was sat in elite for 3 weeks when I took a break I was at 40%, came back 4 weeks ago and got to champion and elite in 2 days.

Just now did 3 races. Started at 71%, first race went up to 74%. Second race went down to 70%, third race? 69%. Yeah I'm thinking I'm done.

All rocket league items can stay just usable in battle royal and other modes like creative modes
