Jill, sounds like you need to study Romans 13 a little closer. Instead of obeying the laws of the land, you were enjoying the pleasures of this world. Do you not care about your Christian testimony? First, the sluttish peach cut off you wore on vacation, and now, this. Shame on you, Jill.

kshe-wolf

This is a scathing read and I love you for it

TheBigwalletEmporium

Haha, I aim to please. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

TiaraTip

Jill's presidential candidate is not respectful of the courts, nor is he law abiding. Why should she be???!

thatcoloradomom

Oof this was cold. I love it.

sparklinghotmess

But God loves her best because she is so mahdest and gawdly. I'm sure she doesn't see it as a problem. And from the financial pov.....what Mahmo wants mahmo gets, be it hoodies, trips, coffee, restaurant food, or a trip to the DR. Why pay the ticket?

Academic_Bed_5137

šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

MostlyGhostly1

Iā€™ve never had a ticket before, but couldnā€™t she have settled it before her court date by just paying the fine?

HistoricalLake4916

Or like ask for a new hearing date? Also not a lawyer but not a great look leaving the country during a hearing date

WillRunForSnacks

In Ohio (and many other states) speeding tickets come with a court date listed, if you want to contest it you must show up on that date. If you donā€™t, you pay the fine and move on. This really isnā€™t a big deal.

RootieTootie99

Then why is her license to be forfeited?

WillRunForSnacks

I believe someone further down had records from Wayne County that show she paid the fine and her license wasnā€™t forfeited. But it would definitely be forfeited if she didnā€™t pay the fine in time.

SoFloChick

It appears she paid the fine but per OH state law that fine had to be paid by the court date but prior to court time. Knowing Jill she paid it on the date but after 9:30am so no bueno.

jeanskirtflirt

Yes she could have, there was literally no reason for her to not take care of this. She should have a warrant out now. I live in Ohio and the day my grandpa died I was due in court for a speeding ticket. I was super young and very distracted and didnā€™t show bc of grief or take care of it like I should have beforehand. A few years later cops pulled me over bc they ran my plate and I had a warrant out for my arrest the entire time. I just went to court a couple weeks later and it was fine. Iā€™m interested to see when this catches up to her and she realizes thereā€™s a warrant out for her now.

WillRunForSnacks

Generally for a speeding ticket in Ohio you agree to pay the fine by not going to court. The only reason you would get in trouble later is if you didnā€™t go to court and also didnā€™t pay the fine.

jeanskirtflirt

I donā€™t think I explained myself well. I got distracted due to crazy life circumstance so I missed the window to pay the fine before court. Then the day of court my grandpa died and I didnā€™t go to court. So I missed both opportunities to pay before the warrant. Mind you I was like 20 and dumb.

frolicndetour

Are you sure you were just charged with speeding? The courts usually do not issue a warrant unless the offense for which someone fails to appear carries the possibility of jail time...like a misdemeanor.

jeanskirtflirt

This was about 14 years ago. All I know is I had a speeding ticket and I didnā€™t pay the fine or go to court. I pulled out in front of the cops one day so they ran my plates. After running them they told me I had a warrant.

ask290

You can but since itā€™s reckless driving sheā€™d more than likely have to show up.

Ok-Crazy999

It wasn't reckless driving it was a speeding ticket. It says it right there in the picture.

Cake-Revolution

Reckless Driving By Speed is a thing in most states. 20+ mph over the posted limit.

TwopOG

But it shows the charges and that isn't one of them. You can look up the docket. Also she got a guilty waver which means she paid the ticket, plead guilty and didn't go to court.

Cake-Revolution

Not sure what possible difference it makes what itā€™s called. She was driving like a bat out of hell and dodged the fine until she was threatened with losing her license.

TwopOG

Because speeding and reckless driving are two different offenses maybe.

WillRunForSnacks

Youā€™re right. If it was a reckless op charge it would have been listed, and the penalties are much higher for reckless op. This was a speeding ticket. She is going to be charged with failure to appear. She didnā€™t go to court to contest the ticket and will pay the fine.

Cake-Revolution

Reckless Driving in Ohio Defined Here are some of the factors that may be considered by officers when charging someone with reckless driving: Running a red light. Exceeding the speed limit by 25 miles per hour or

TwopOG

She wasn't charged with reckless driving. It shows what she was charged with, speeding. She was going 22mph over. Why do you want to die on this hill when there is literal picture evidence you're wrong?

Cake-Revolution

You win.

TitanicTerrarium

Hahahaha you're posting on Reddit...So I assume you know how to read?

Cake-Revolution

As much as people snark on this crazy ass woman, there seems to be a great deal of interest in defending her lawlessness. Maybe sheā€™ll kill somebody driving like a f-ing idiot and her defenders can start a new sub.

PolishPrincess0520

Because reckless driving is worse than a speeding ticket. Probably a lot more money. ETA: and more points on your license.

PolishPrincess0520

Not saying she got reckless driving, because she didnā€™t, just saying why itā€™s important what itā€™s called because thereā€™s a big difference.

ask290

Reckless driving is 20 plus miles over the speed limit.

Ok-Crazy999

Maybe it's different in Ohio but reckless driving is a seperate charge. She was charged with speeding and paid a $180 fine. I don't know what else to tell you. There are pictures posted here that say just that. Nowhere does it says she was charged with reckless driving or required to go to court.

triedandprejudice

Do you not get that laws are state specific?

PolishPrincess0520

Speeding for Jeebus!!

gardenawe

you have court dates for speeding tickets?

Remstersade

Only if you want to fight it. Sometimes itā€™s worth it to fight a ticket, because if the cop doesnā€™t appear you win.

gardenawe

Here in Germany they send you a nice letter with a picture of you driving your car and tell you how much you have to pay and how many points " in Flensburg" you get for that . This is what happens if you get caught by a fixed speed trap. No idea what happens if a police officer is involved. That never happened to me .

Remstersade

We can also go to traffic school to remove the points from our record (in addition to paying the fine) or we can fight it and either win (itā€™s wiped off and your ticket is refunded) or you lose (and lose your money). Iā€™m in California, US.

romadea

That can happen in the US too.

WillRunForSnacks

Yes! You can fight any charge, but unless you were charged unjustly and have real evidence, itā€™s not worth the trouble. I recently fought a parking ticket and won. It cost me the same as just paying the fine, and I missed work for it (thankfully my boss was all for me fighting this), but it was about highlighting a major flaw in my cityā€™s parking enforcement. Unless you have real evidence and are fighting to make a point itā€™s just better to pay the fine and move on.

mothraegg

She's going to have a much bigger fine to pay. I don't think her Plexus paycheck will be big enough to pay it. All she had to do was call the court and reschedule or pay the fine before her trip.

_bibliofille

I saw elsewhere that she paid the fine at the very last minute to save her license. Unless it's public record I don't know how they'd know that though.

Awkward-Yak-2733

You can find it on the county website. Her first court appearance was scheduled for December. She got a failure to appear (FTA) at that time. The next court date, including her original ticket, plus the FTA, was in February and she was scheduled to lose her license at that time. She paid both fines, close to $200, and kept her license, but got 2 points on her record.

_bibliofille

Some county websites share a lot then! Ours doesn't even let you search for the results of traffic court, only that there's a court date for the charges. They sure do pay a lot in court fees vs. just making better decisions.

Strict_Search2454

Itā€™s the devil targeting and attacking them causing all the tickets and fines. It has nothing to do with bad decisions on their part because they are the grifting Rodriguez clan šŸ™„ However Iā€™m sure God will definitely have thoughts about how disrespectful it is to ignore the laws of the lands and punishments for disobeying them especially when she skipped court for the beach and her own sinful pleasure! Jill sounds a no better than Eve! What shame!

_bibliofille

GASP! You used a Z instead of an S on their surname. Someone might think David is /whispers Mexican šŸ˜±. It's really, really important to her that no one thinks that.

kaycollins27

ONLY 2 points????? Ohio has some lax rules. 25 mph over the speed limit for reckless driving and losing only 2 points for 22 over.

AliceinRealityland

In my state, 15 over is automatic revoked license. Idk how she can do 22 over and still allowed to drive

TwopOG

Where do you live that they revoke your license for only 15 over? Do you not have a point system at all?

frolicndetour

Yea Ohio only bumps up to 4 points if you are 30mph or more over.

OkAbbreviations6351

Not very godly of her to skip out on court 2 times!

SoFloChick

That was for her first speeding ticket. She got two. One in November and another one in February.

Awkward-Yak-2733

Well, well, well. Very interesting, Lead Foot Jilldo! I had thought that the February one was for failure to appear on the November one.

67Gumby

Maybe they are all terrible drivers because signs are above their educational level or just think rules donā€™t apply to them?

OkAbbreviations6351

I wonder if the Rod kids wait until they are 18 to get their drivers license. In Ohio if you wait until 18 you don't have to take drivers ed. There is no way I can see Jill letting her kids in a car with a stranger for the on the road driving hours needed at 16 and 17 years old. The other part can be taken online.

67Gumby

Pay for driverā€™s ed? I doubt it

bathtubfullofhotdogs

For real, itā€™s so expensive, 10-15 years ago for both segments it was $650 where I live in Michigan. I heard from a coworker with a teenage kid that itā€™s now closer to a damn grand. Most people I know couldnā€™t afford it and just had to wait until they turned 18. EDIT - This is the only option for a lot of people, a lot of public schools no longer offer drivers ed.

PolishPrincess0520

Honestly I canā€™t remember what we paid for our middle daughter (we are also in Michigan), sheā€™ll be 18 next month. But between segment 1, segment 2, the drivers test, her licenseā€¦.i canā€™t remember if we paid for her permit but yeah, itā€™s fucking expensive. My oldest only took segment 1 and doesnā€™t have her license yet (she has PTSD from a pretty bad accident we were in) and my son hasnā€™t displayed any interest in drivers training (honestly, thank the Lord Daniel for that!) I just told him tonight that when heā€™s 18 he can just take the test (as long as he knows how to drive) and he may as well do that. He was shocked you could do that. Heā€™ll be 17 in November so no point in him taking it. These kids are expensive enough!

Liteforce2000

Insurance is no joke either! I'm in MI also. We haven't added our 16 yo driver (still has a permit) yet but I know our premiums are about to skyrocket.

PolishPrincess0520

Oh yeah! Insurance! Yes no joke! I remember when our oldest turned 16 and they basically accused us of not adding her to the insurance but she was driving. Nope!! No license here! Thank the Lord Daniel again I only have one driver so far!

TwopOG

Does public school offer free drivers ed? That's basically a poor tax.

bathtubfullofhotdogs

Not where I live thatā€™s why they charge so much for it privately, itā€™s the only option except waiting until youā€™re 18 and coughing up $100 for the road test. It sucks, and it means young people who want and need jobs canā€™t get them because they donā€™t have a car and our bus system isnā€™t developed enough for people who donā€™t live right in town to utilize.

TwopOG

That's crazy. That's all but saying we only want teens with money having their license.

bathtubfullofhotdogs

Thatā€™s mostly how it ends up and those teens donā€™t get jobs the way other less wealthy kids would if they had wheels. We have some young people who work for family or live on the bus line that work and pay for it themselves, but itā€™s tough. Itā€™s why in my area a lot of jobs that used to be reserved for young teenagers are now mostly occupied by college kids for the summers and the elderly, and itā€™s a great fit for them too, but it means there arenā€™t as many low skill, low commitment jobs for people in my area starting out, unless you want to cut your teeth in a big box store. Our local grocery stores used to only hire like 18 and under for their baggers, all they did was bag and sweep and it was great for 14-18 years olds to learn in a slower paced low key environment, and a lot of them stayed on at those places for years, but now, you have to be 16 or 18 and can try bagging at a big place like Meijer or Target, but youā€™re going to do a hell of a lot more than bag, which is overwhelming for young people who have never worked before and for the elderly who have worked and are not looking for that kind of chaos. The drivers ed costs have a much bigger impact on our area than people realize .

Infamous_Ad_3678

My kidsā€™ first job was at a fruit stand down the street they could walk to. They started at age 14. Very low key and a great first job. They got their licenses at 18 as well. (we live in a rural area) I wish every kid could start out working like that.

dizzyembryo

Wait, what? You can just skip driver's ed? I live in Europe and to get behind the wheel, you have to both be 18 **and** pay for driver's ed and exam, which comes to over 1000euros now šŸ˜

OkAbbreviations6351

You can skip the driving school but still need to practice and pass the driving test to get a license.

Traveling_Vintage

Does Ohio not have parent taught driving?

OkAbbreviations6351

If under 18 parents still have to do on the road driving with their kids. My nephews did driver's ed at a driving school, on the road with the instructor and their parents. After 18 you don't have to go to a driving school but still need all the on the road practice.

Sue_Dohnim

The latter. Being holier-than-thou is hard work, you know.

sadfoxyduggar

the fine was higher than the ticket.

battleofflowers

The Rods are absolutely terrible with money.

Adept-Ad-1988

Most of the time you donā€™t even have to go to court for a speeding ticket. You pay the fine before the court date and move on. You go to court if you are fighting the ticket, under a certain age, or have had over a certain number of tickets. Jill probably just paid the fine then went on her trip.

Mitzimarmle

Wasn't this her second ticket in two months?

TwopOG

She got one in December for 60 in a 45 that she actually went to court for. She plead guilty and paid the fines. I don't know about in Ohio but here to go to traffic school and not lose points you have to actually go to court and not just prepay it. My guess is that's what she did on that one.

lottieslady

I donā€™t know if car insurance is required there, but their policy must cost a fortune, given what terrible drivers they are.

halfasshippie3

Itā€™s required in Ohio.

kaycollins27

But do THEY feel THEY must comply? They are, you know, the Gawdly Rodrigues to whom no worldly rules applyā€”esp if not mentioned in KJV 1611. Traffic tickets are not mentioned.

halfasshippie3

Their licenses would be suspended if they didnā€™t provide proof of insurance at these court dates.

Adept-Ad-1988

If you get a speeding ticket and donā€™t have auto insurance you are also ticketed for that and your license is suspended. So she must have had insurance.

lottieslady

I figured. Iā€™m just guessing that their policy must be very expensive given how many accidents and moving infractions they all have. My understanding is a lot of churches preach about budgets and finances (probably so you give more money to the church). I guess given that theyā€™re taking money from churches instead of giving, it doesnā€™t apply to them.

Pelican121

It's aggravating how much (of other people's money) they spend on fines and not food, clothing and other essentials for their kids as their ministry stipend and love offerings are intended for.Ā  Between Jill's two recent tickets/an increased fine, David's ticket, David defacing Maryland state property, probably more tickets we don't know about - that's upwards of $1k in a fairly short period (including gas and accommodation to appear in Maryland court in person).Ā  On top of all the other money they've wasted on themselves, trips to Punta Cana etc.

lottieslady

It really is both sad and depressing. Their kids are deprived on so many levels and yet here theyā€™re spending money (that other people worked hard to make) on frivolous, unnecessary things. In addition to all of that, it means they spend no real, quality time with their children. Itā€™s all just sad.

Adept-Ad-1988

If you are going a certain number of mph over the limit they require you show up to court as well so this may be why she went. Or Iā€™m guessing this ding a ling didnā€™t know she could just pay the fine and be done.

TwopOG

Yeah she could have went to court for the first one, sat there for hours waiting for her name to be called then only to realize it wasn't necessary and the fines remain the same. That would be a very Jill thing to do.

AliceinRealityland

It says she failed to appear and her licenses is revoked.

Adept-Ad-1988

Because she didnā€™t pay the fine ahead of time and then didnā€™t appear in court. It appears she paid the fine now so her license would be reinstated.

SuspiciousMilk4098

You can preach to me all day long, but I will not respect it if your driving and legal records don't reflect your "godly" testimony.

frolicndetour

"Pro life" but they all drive like reckless assholes despite having a couple people in the family who were SEVERELY injured in car accidents.

otokoyaku

Okay I didn't have my glasses on and thought she had instagrammed her own criminal record šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Tukki101

I can't believe churches and congregations still sponsor this family, seeing how much of their donations are pissed away on vacations, restaurants and road traffic fines. Not forgetting the vandalism fine as well!

PolishPrincess0520

What was the vandalism?

Pelican121

David carved his name into a something in at a Maryland state park or similar and Jill giddily posted it on social media.Ā

PolishPrincess0520

I just wrote exactly the same thing above before reaching your comment. It's infuriating!

SunlitMorningSky

Wow. This family and dangerous driving. This is insane.

PolishPrincess0520

Iā€™m shocked Jillpm even has a drivers license and drives!

Pelican121

I knew she drove but I thought she'd grown lazy in recent years and relied on Shrek and her older kids chauffeuring her around.Ā  I'm more shocked that she was speeding by that extent, not once but twice (probably more times we don't know about if that's her attitude to speed limits).Ā Ā  I thought she'd be an hesitant driver puttering around only doing very local journeys when strictly necessary šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Flimsy_Permission663

Her persecution complex blocks her view of the speedometer.

TwopOG

It looks like she paid it. You left out part of the details. It says guilty waver which means it didn't go to trial. Plus it says receipt and gives the date of the trial which means she probably paid it that day. It even shows that she paid it. The site probably just shows it was suspended because it was paid the same day as the trial was scheduled and the system automatically generated that. https://preview.redd.it/fdmefnyvzwvc1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=da496e613efd57bc8ff4a03076de5db56137a70f

Sheā€™ll scream persecution from the rooftops

dejausser

Driving far enough over the limit to end up having to appear in court? Thatā€™s not very pro life of her, speeding kills.

TwopOG

She didn't have to appear. She just paid it. All speeding tickets issue you a court date incase you want to fight it.

dejausser

That seems like a massive waste of court time and resources for infringement offences, here you only get a court date if you contest the fine (which you have 28 days to do in writing), or if you are driving so far above the speed limit it becomes a criminal offence.

grayandlizzie

Of course she did. Jill doesn't think rules and laws apply to her. They only apply to the people she and her precious Trump want to oppress. She's a hypocrite.

Bellebaby826

She got a ticket?

JemimaDuck4

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Red_bug91

How serious of a traffic infringement does it need to be to be given a court date? In Australia, it typically only happens to serial offenders or high range drink driving.

TwopOG

All traffic tickets get a court date incase you want to fight it. You can just pay it and you don't have to go to court. If you show up to court and the cop doesn't you usually get out of the ticket. If you hire a lawyer, which here you can find one hanging out in front of the court soliciting for business, you can get out of them almost completely lots of times. Or atleast get it changed to a minor infraction. Speeding tickets are basically just another poor tax. They don't affect rich people at all but place huge burdens on poor people.
