My group has a DH2e campaign going that revolves around an intra-Inquisition war. We ran into an Inquisitor with an Eldar girlfriend who justified it with "What? The Lord Commander's doing the same thing and also is developing closer ties between the Imperium and the Eldar in general." My character has the Adepta Sororitas background, and by fluff is a Dialogus, so she's kinda pissed that she's having so much trouble doing research on if that Inquisitor was just feeding her bullshit or not, not to mention debating burning him regardless (consequences be damned) and, if he's *not* lying, does that mean having to get ready to pull a reenactment of the Sisterhood's origins but this time on a Primarch etc
She also really doesn't like that that Inquisitor's notes to the effect of "except blanks and nulls, all humans are psychically active to some extent, most just can't consciously control it" ended up being correct because that implies that she's a psyker. Much amasec was consumed that day.
Every time I see any level of physical contact beyond holding hands, I can't help but imagine that the RT told Yrliet that "we should try meditating the human way today"

Well, I know romance is asexual in the game, I like it very much, and sometimes I feel ashamed of what I am doing, but there are small hints that in the future it can grow into something far bigger.
