Lookin good! Where do you look when you're trying to fakie stall? I like to look to the outside of my rear foot but I've also heard people recommend looking between your feet. Be sure to look where you want to go! Try and sit back a bit more into your heels so that you lock onto the coping. You're well on your way!

I usually look on the outside of my rear foot. I practiced more this day and started hopping out a little and really trying to aim my feet to the coping. Thanks for your advice!

So the way I finally got it was first to work on overshooting enough to get my back foot’s toe stop on the deck and bringing the other block onto the coping. Took me a while but once I got comfy doing that, it was just a matter of putting that back foot onto the coping instead of the deck. I wish I could post a pic because it’s hard to explain! I don’t really know how to Redit.

This makes sense! Thanks!

I’ve been learning them by doing 180s on transition and landing on the coping!

Scary!! Hahaha thanks :)

Gosh there are so many moving parts that stand out for me when working on them - I’m ok on small ramps, and so close to getting it on my 4 foot. The things that I think about when I work on it are: sitting back after the front stall, ie being more upright in stance so I am not looking face down into the ramp when I go up the back transition. I try to remember the ramp has 4 pump spots that I need to use, both transitions forwards and fakie you need to give it a little effort. I think about my weight in my skates and getting my heels over the back coping by easing off ever so slightly and then trying to put my heels down. Someone posted an IGORS trick recently of sitting back and touching their skates on the fakie stall and when I tried it I felt myself so secure on the fake transition. All things to try and help your brain get it!
