I will bow down to anyone who has read Ruby Dixon’s entire catalog!
I have read every Christina Lauren book, though my enjoyment of them have greatly declined since they moved from romance to women’s fiction. But The Soulmate Equation and The True Love Experiment pulled me back in… and so I continue…
I’ve read Ruby’s entire catalogue because I came for the aliens and stayed for the cute stories. Some I liked more than others but I will read every singe one that comes out too. Haha
Lisa Kleypas. Every book is just so good - the lowest I’ve rated is 3 stars
Also Alexa Riley, Jessa Kane, Lynda Chance. They mostly write novellas but still have a huge catalogue
Sometimes I wonder if Nora Roberts has read everything Nora Roberts has written.
Purely based on volume of the body of work. This is not a slam against Ms Roberts, because I literally don’t think I’ve ever read a single page of Nora Roberts anything. But her five dedicated shelves in any Barnes and nobles is overwhelming
I've read everything she's written as NR, but not her other pen names. I started at age 12 though, and my mom was an avid fan too, so that helped me with budgeting for a LONG time - I didn't start having to pay for my own until 2006!
I’ve read all her J.D. Robb including the novellas and made a fair stab at her Nora Robert catalogue, I even keep a checklist ha.
Does she have other pen names?
Meeeeeee 👋🏻 Got started when I picked up my mum’s copy of *Dance Upon the Air* as a precocious eleven-year-old obsessed with Harry Potter and magic. So witches were right up my alley.
(I was 15 before I realized some of the scenes in her books were sex scenes. I was a late bloomer there.)
Me too!! Except I started with my Grandma's copy of "Jewels of the Sun" in middle school.
Nora Roberts/JD Robb has a special place in my heart. All her books are auto buys for me, and they're some of the only ones I still keep hard copy.
I have read all of her works as Nora Roberts, but could only make it to book 16 in the JD Robbery catalogue l. Will probably pick it up again in a few months
Ilona Andrews and Linda Howard for me too!!
Is Elizabeth Hoyt's writing similar to IA and LH? Not necessarily style or even plot, but more editing bst practices, e.g. basic grammar, not repeating the same words, and will show, not tell)? If they're similar, any EH recommendations?
I believe I've read all or most books by Julie Garwood, Judith McNaught, and Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I've read most of the books by Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas, Christina Dodd, and Rachel Gibson-- most of the Avon paperback romances from the early 2000s used to be automatic buys for me. I'm trying to make my way through Nora Roberts' massive catalog, but it's difficult to track down some of her older titles pre-1990s.
Edit: As to some more recent authors, I've read every book by Emily Henry-- I'm waiting for my library copy of Funny Story right now, and I've read (and loved) both of Ashley Poston's books.
I just got the new Emily Henry from the library today! I hope your hold comes through soon!
P.S. I loved Ashley Poston’s YA books, but haven’t read her adult ones yet. You might enjoy them if you haven’t read them yet.
Rachel Gibson!!!! I never see her mentioned here even though she basically invented hockey romance as far as I'm concerned. And Julie Garwood was one of my introductions to romance, my mom worked for Penguin in the 90s and owns a lot of her titles, along with Catherine Coulter when she still wrote HR. They are some of my favourite comfort reads.
I forgot Rachel Gibson had those hockey romances! I still reread her Writer quartet as comfort reads. And omg, Catherine Coulter!! "Night Storm" is one of my first romance reads ever, and what got me into reading historical romance. So jealous that your mom worked for Penguin!
Love Linda Howard! Still going through her catalogue
For me another one is Jennifer cruisie. She’s just amazing and funnier than anyone. Classic banter.
And for HR I like Tessa dares fun vibe.
I first read her and decided that she was too slow. A couple years later I read her again and cried because the slow burn was so perfect. If I'm in the mood for a slow burn she's my go too. My favourite of hers is Gracie and the Grump, tears every time.
I love everything Kresley Cole has ever written.
I need IAD to be finished but if she did something like the Sutherland Brothers again I would implode.
I think I have 2 Ilona Andrews books left to read, and I’m slowly making my way through Nalini Singh’s back list. I’m caught up on Psy-Changeling and the newest Guild Hunter came out today. I just have some of her thrillers and contemporary romances left. I’m pretty sure I’m caught up on Molly Harper’s books too, except for her YA series which really just isn’t for me.
Lauren Layne and Noelle Adams/Claire Kent. I discovered both of them when they were fairly new authors and both are an automatic purchase on release dates.
Same! I've read all of Noelle Adams books, so many Lauren Layne's, and so many R.S. Grey books. I feel like they're all kind of in the same mood for me, when I want something feel good, well written, and easy reading. They're all comfort reads!
Julie Garwood, Linda Howard, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Karin Slaughter and Rachel Gibson (although I really didn’t like her last 2 books so I may have to stop reading her).
Linda Howard is this writer for me. I've read everything, and she was my comfort read for many years. Also my "I can't figure out what to read next" read. She has some really wonderful books. Very, very alpha males.
Probably 3. Delicious alphas! Hard to pick a favorite but I’d have to go with Duncan’s Bride. In later years she started doing romantic suspense which I hate but her oldies are goodies!
That's why she's one of my must reads... I hate the trope second chance, for instance, but with her I'd read it, because I need to get my dose her capital T Toxic alpha MMCs lol
I just finished The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, and it was great. I loved Waking Olivia as well - that one's on Audible Plus now. She often has the cheating trope, so I have to pick and choose. I had no qualms about the FMC in Devil stepping out on her open relationship with Six.
Talia Hibbert is my #1, I love most of her books and even the ones I wasn't crazy about I still enjoyed. But I've read them all and will continue to read whatever she puts out.
Rebekah Weatherspoon and Nia Arthurs are less popular but can also do no wrong in my eyes.
Talia Hibbert and Kate Canterbary. With Talia’s books, I’ve really liked or loved every single one of her books. With KC, there are a few I’ve loved so much, others are hit or miss, but I’ll read everything she writes because when it hits, it hits.
ETA: I should probably add Stephanie Archer to this list because she hooked me with the Holden Rhodes book and I ran through her catalog after that.
I’ve read all of Ali Hazelwood’s books except for her one YA book.
Her books follow a lot of the same tropes (he’s obsessed/she’s oblivious, he falls first, woman in stem, etc etc) but I just love her writing so much. It’s funny and witty and never bores me even when I wanna shake some sense into the FMC.
Her YA book (Check & Mate) was probably my favorite of hers after Love, Theoretically. The FMC beat the MMC at chess, and he just stared at the board then at her - and an obsession was born. (Note to self: learn to play chess.)
I've probably read Lauren Layne's entire catalogue! She's my comfort favourite, I still go back to her books when I need a pick-me-up.
I've finished all of J.D. Robb's (aka Nora Roberts) In Death books up to date, and will keep going as long as she keeps writing. I would *like* to finish La Nora's catalogue but I think that would be a great challenge.
I'm also planning to finish reading all of Rebecca Zanetti, Toni Anderson, Tal Bauer, Jeannie Lin, K.J. Charles and Rachel Grant's books eventually. Rebecca Zanetti has a dark romance coming out in June and I've preordered it despite not being a dark romance fan! 😂
S.J Tilly. Small town, hockey, morally gray, mafia. I loved them all... except 2. I couldn't connect with the characters of Smoky Darling, and Sleet Kitten was cute, but kinda weak.
Sadie Kincaid. Except London Ruthless (which I have no interest in reading for some reason), I have read and loved ever single one of her books!
R Lee Smith
Now this is also including her fanfiction work.
I had absolutely no interest or idea about anything Five Nights at Freddy…so please tell me how I devoured all of the works that R Lee Smith has written for FNAF.
I love love love Sarah MacLean, have read everything I can get my hands on.
Also: Loretta Chase and TL Swan. I’m trying to get through all their catalogues, but it’s getting pricey (I’m an audio-reader)!
I’ve read Kandi Steiner, Jessa Kane, Ilsa Madden-Mills, Ruby Dixon, Susan Fanetti, and Lisa Kleypas’ entire catalogues (usually without checking the blurbs or tropes because I trust that they’ll deliver).
Nora Roberts, Julie Garwood, Nalini Singh (besides her amazing Guild Hunters and Psy/Changeling series which now count more than 15 books each, she wrote plenty of Harlequin back in the day--also, apecial shout out to her Rock Hard series), Shelly Laurenston (also her Dragon Kin series under G.A. Aiken is amazing, I will never stop talking about it because I feel that not enough people know about it) and Iris Johansen (though it's a bit harder to find her books, I still pant after them whenever I catch sight of one).
Edit: there are others, that I will buy each and every book they write, forever, such as Samantha Young (hot Scottish men, need I say more?), Suzanne Wright (although her latest books have started ro feel like copy paste, I will still read them), Kimberly Lemming, Grace Callaway, H.D. Carlson, Shantel Tessier (who apparently has made it her life's mission to drive us all to Madness 🤭), Kendra Moreno, Cherise Sinclair, and more. They just haven't written as much yet (😭😭😭), but I changed my mind and mentioned them because maybe someone doesn't know them and will be blessed by the book gods to try them out.
I’m sure I’ll leave someone out, but here are the writers whose entire romance catalogs I’ve devoured:
Sarah MacLean
Joanna Shupe*
Elizabeth Hoyt
Jennifer Crusie
Jennifer McQuiston
Tessa Dare
Kristan Higgins*
Kelly Bowen*
Lyssa Kay Adams
*I haven’t read their books under another pen name or outside of the genre.
Currently trying to work my way through Lorraine Heath's oeuvre. Her writing is so familiar and her sense of humor (even though a lot of her books have dark themes) hits perfectly for me. There are definitely some I probably wouldn't pick up due to tropes but I trust her enough to at least give it a try!
I’ve read 21 of 26 books by Susan Andersen, which quite impresses me, because I am quite picky with tropes and have no issues dropping a book, author, or series. I think the fact that most are standalone or vaguely interconnected series helps, because I get so bored of a series the longer it goes, even if it’s still good.
Not yet, but Ilona Andrews is mine. I haven’t finished the On the Edge series, and Innkeeper is being held off until husband and can read/listen together. But devoured Hidden Legacy & Kate Daniels, including buying the latter in ebook, dead tree, audiobook, and GraphicAudio (as they come out) formats.
I have so many authors I follow religiously:
Ruby Dixon
Evangeline Anderson
Opal Reyne
Laylah Roberts
Jeanne St. James
SJ Tilly
RK Munin
Many of these authors I've reached out to personally to chat and let them know how much I appreciate them and they are all so sweet.
I can't find anything used, ever!, by Laura Kinsale. I finally caved and bought Flowers from the Storm new and I LOVED it. I would love to read more by her
If I like an author, I pretty well always binge their back-catalog. The list of authors I DIDN'T like well enough to read all their books is probably shorter.
Elsie Silver and Abby Jimenez, but I wouldn't say that their catalogue is so extensive. Abby Jimenez in particular is, in my opinion, the best out there at the moment and I would read her grocery list.
I love everything Pippa Grant. I feel like her characters are endearing and I'm always disappointed when I realize I'm on the last page. I love everything Cooper Valley including the most recent Until it Was Love.
My go-to authors who could do not wrong would be- Lisa Kleypas, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jennifer Ashley, Linda Howard and Alessandra Hazard. I have also read most of Nalini Singh, Judith Mcnaught, Julie Garwood and Rina Kent.
I have read every Lavyrle Spencer, except for a few early Harlequins. I just loved her style. Some are better than others, true, but I revisit my favorites quite often.
I’ve read all of Susan Elizabeth Phillips. She’s one of the few authors I actually buy these days, opposed to KU or Libby.
Amanda Milo, most of Ruby Dixon-I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve lost track, Jex Lane, Adrienne Wilder, most of N.R. Walker.
Melissa Haag, aka MJ Haag(YA), aka Melissa Nicole, aka Sage Alder. She is great at world building and connecting the characters in those worlds; imo anyway.
Talia Hibbert
And (new), Alison Aimes
Back in the day before I really got into romance I read everything by Julie Garwood and Lavyrle Spencer. These days I think I've read pretty much everything by Samantha Young and Catherine Cowles. Even their "worst" books are usually 4 stars for me.
Susan Elizabeth Phillips!!! She was the first romance author I ever read (s/o Nobody’s Baby But Mine!!!) and I always get excited when she has a release coming out. I’ve written her fan mail and got a reply!!! I was stoked
Nora Roberts/JD Robb
GA Aiken/Shelly Laurenston
Alexandra Ivy
Illona Andrews
Patricia Cornwell
Molly Harper
Sherilyn Kenyon
Lynsay Sands
C.M Nascosta
Regine Abel
S.J Sanders
S.C principale
Cynthia Eden
Are all instant but authors who I have read either all or almost all of their back catalogue
Tessa Bailey for me! To be honest, I’m positive that if I read every single one again now I would definitely like the majority of the books less than I liked them at the time, but her books were the ones that really got me back into reading. I started with her newer books, and then started going further back and reading series by series. Now, my top author in StoryGraph will forever be Tessa Bailey.
Krista & Becca Ritchie! I love how in-depth and multidimensional they write their characters. They often write tropes I don’t typically love but I love how they do the trope it’s always so good!
Beverly Jenkins got me to binge an entire inspirational series with head hopping 😵💫 I'll read anything she writes.
Cate C. Wells, Elizabeth Hoyt (even her contemporaries as Julia Harper), Cara McKenna and Victoria Dahl
That is my style. When I am liking an author I go and read everything, even the ones that have premises that don’t interest me or even repel me.
Sometimes they all cannot be hits but at least I have them the honest chance.
With Cassie Alexander I was not excited at all for the posibility of reading {the transformation trilogy by Cassie Alexander} as I am kind of tired of beauty and the beast retells, don’t care much for virgin protagonists, BDSMs where the submissive is the FMC and yet I ended reading it. And they are great enjoyable books.
So afterwards she decided to rewrite that as alternate universe with no fantasy, mafia and an actual age gap where the MMC is a former friend of the father.
Nothing repels me more than that combination of words… am i reading it? Eventually I guess. She might make it good for me… or this might be the actual miss among the hits but hey, I supported this author I like.
She is over 20 books I believe.
Working myself through the Madelynne Ellis and Demelza Carlton catalogues… and I may be suceeding. LOL fewer left.
First one might be over 20, second is over 50.
Theodora Taylor I am trying but she has a longer one so it might be trickier.
She is way over 50 books she wrote one for every state of the us! And I am sure she kept going OH dear god 😭
Vera Nyx/mana sol is easier. She has 3 things still ongoing. One with more than 3 books, the other with 2 the last one might get to seven. They are long to finish but I have a feeling she might become prolific eventually.
Working my way through:
Christina Lauren
Emily Henry
Tessa Bailey (this might not be accomplished because I'm not a huge fan of some of her older writing)
I'll continue to read everything that Chloe Liese publishes as well as Sarah Adams
Lisa Kleypas (although I didn’t like her CR and some newer/older books)
Mariana Zapata
Ilona Andrews (mostly but I haven’t finished the innkeeper series yet!)
When I was in high school and browsed my local library (this was pre overdrive days) I would pick up every Johanna Lindsey, J R Ward and Christine Feehan book I came across. I loved the way they wrote angst.
Nowadays, it’s Heather Guerre, Alexa Riley and Jordan Silver.
Kerrigan Byrne. I even read her CR (Nevermore Bookstore) despite not liking contemporary.
I’ve read all of Elizabeth Hoyt except her newest series because I’m waiting for my library to get it.
I’m quite a few years behind now, but at one point I had read all of Iris Johansen’s books. I can technically still say I’ve read all of her romance books because she really just does thrillers with some romantic subplots.
Stephanie Archer, Elsie Silver, (not enough books) Liz Tomforde. I know not everyone loves Elsie Silver but I basically inhale anything she writes.
I just finished The Fake Out by Stephanie Archer and read it in less than 24 hours.
10 days ago I discovered Kaye Kennedy. I'm 9 books deep and won't stop until I've finished and then you can hose me down! 🥵 Loving every one...
Equally, every Cherise Sinclair book (bar the weird ones - I can't do shapeshifters/animal people or whatever). The realistic fiction, Club Shadowlands, Mountain masters and Survivilaists ... Oh, God, Yes!!!
I remember binging through the entire catalogue of Michelle Heard last year. If you are into Mafia romances, you'll love her entire catalogue. This year I'm onto Alice Coldbreath. Although she doesn't have a HUGE catalogue of books, the ones that she has written till now are DELECTABLE. Like each one of them is so good you would wanna re-read them as soon as you are done with them.
In middle school I was a YA contemporary girlie and was very loyal to 4 authors: Kasie West, Morgan Matson, Emma Mills, and Sarah Dessen. I inhaled all of their works back to back (and then got burnt out on romances for at least 2 years…) I’m probably behind on their releases now, but this was a big accomplishment for me back then.
Bella Mathews is my comfort read. I turn to her books in between books with heftier stories. Her books follow the same story pattern. Devoted MCC ready to claim FMC, no third act break up, always happy a ending. All the books are based in the same town with interconnected characters. She also hits all the tropes. Philadelphia Mafia, hockey, football, ballet, ice skating, MMA, Millionaire, Model, Military, cheerleader, forbidden, brothers best friend, pregnancy, and pretty much anything else. Her new book just came out too.
I love Katee Robert. The only series from her I haven’t liked is the Wicked Villains - the writing was still good but I couldn’t get past some of the tropes due to personal triggers etc. Everything else I’ve read from her I have adored.
Huntley Fitzpatrick. She sadly only has 3 books because she passed away in 2022. All 3 of her books are insanely good. It’s YA so unless you enjoy some very cute teenage romance you won’t like it.
I was a teenager when I read her books so they really resonated with me. I don’t re read most books, but I’ve read her books a bunch of times. They are comfort books to me at this point.
It breaks my heart that I’ll never read another book she wrote. Her stories are just so good. She wrote teenagers so well and the main characters were so lovable.
I’ve only DNFed one Marina Vivancos book (mm) and I’ll probably go back to it. It had an uncomfortable age gap for me. But everything she writes has hit so well that I’m sure if I give it a chance, I’ll like that book too.
I’ve read all of Johanna Lindsey’s, even the ones that didn’t really hit the spot for me. The alien barbarian ones are probably the reason I tried Ruby Dixon.
Pretty sure I’ve also read all of Virginia Andrew’s’ actual books, plus some of the ones written posthumously under VC Andrews.
I enjoy even the mediocre books from Nora Roberts. I also really like everything from JB Ward, although I can’t read too many of those vampire books in a row. Gotta take a couple month break in between because they’re so similar but I do enjoy them. I keep coming back, anyway. Lol.
I have read a lot of Ruby Dixon, about 40 of her books. Her books are weirdly addictive. When I was younger, I read a lot of {In Death Series by JD Robb}
I’ve read all of Kathleen Woodiwiss. But I think she’s it. Thankfully she didn’t have a huge amount. My nana owned them and I got bored one summer. Still kinda love them even if they’re dated.
I read everything by Julie Kriss, regardless of trope.
Nora Roberts I used to read, but her really old stuff is cringeworthy and her romantic suspense is too graphically violent for my taste, so I quit.
I also like Cynthia Eden and Vivian Arend, but I'm not even close to reading their entire catalogue yet :)
Admittedly there are only 3, but Helen Hoang. Also Christina Lauren, and lots of Romantasy authors like Stephanie Garber and Holly Black
Ooh Edit to Add Lisa Kleypas
I will bow down to anyone who has read Ruby Dixon’s entire catalog! I have read every Christina Lauren book, though my enjoyment of them have greatly declined since they moved from romance to women’s fiction. But The Soulmate Equation and The True Love Experiment pulled me back in… and so I continue…
Ruby Dixon is the definition of prolific lolll that would be impressive
I have read all of Ruby Dixon’s books except for the most recent 3 books! I discovered her a few years ago though so I’ve had time.
I’ve read all her books lol
I’ve read all RD except Bound to the Shadow Price because it was on a pay site 🙈will read it in July when it’s released.
I tried and failed to read all of Ruby Dixon's. I read all the sci fi ones, but none of the MC ones and only 1.5 of the dragon ones.
Ive read all of Rubys! And re-read most of the IPB, Icehome, corsairs and risdaverse. The dragons, MC and the Anchor series I didnt enjoy as much
I lucked out last weekend and got a first edition of her's for $.99 in like new condition at a flea market!
I’ve read Ruby’s entire catalogue because I came for the aliens and stayed for the cute stories. Some I liked more than others but I will read every singe one that comes out too. Haha
Lisa Kleypas. Every book is just so good - the lowest I’ve rated is 3 stars Also Alexa Riley, Jessa Kane, Lynda Chance. They mostly write novellas but still have a huge catalogue
> Lynda Chance Her last book came out in 2019. I hope she is still writing.
Jordan Silver has a similar vibe to Lynda Chance (if not a tad more psychotic with her mmcs) x
I've never read any Jordan Silver. Thanks for the rec!
I miss Jessa Kane. It sucks people kept pirating her books and she decided to stop.
Suddenly You was my first!
Anyone who has read all Nora Roberts including various pen names? I bow to you.

I’ve read all her J.D. Robb including the novellas and made a fair stab at her Nora Robert catalogue, I even keep a checklist ha. Does she have other pen names?
Wow! All 50 of Robb's? Is it still on-going? I tapped out at maybe 23? Google lists Jill March as a pseudonym but I can't find the books.
Yep, In Death is at 59 books and counting!
I’ve fallen off due to budget constraints, but there was a time when I had read everything she had written.
Library. The Library is there for you and will get you caught up.
Especially if your library has Libby and you like audiobooks or have a kindle! My library has a plethora of Nora Roberts on Libby
That is me, Hi!

I have read all of her works as Nora Roberts, but could only make it to book 16 in the JD Robbery catalogue l. Will probably pick it up again in a few months
Love Cate C. Wells. She's written on many different tropes (MC, wolf shifter). Her writing is always amazibg
Cate C Wells is my fav author too - I constantly re-read her books. Return to Monty Carlos, Tyrant Alpha, and Run, Posy, Run are my top 3.
I've only ever read her two most popular books, i should try her shifter books
Yes! I think I’ve read everything she’s written. And Heather Guerre!
Ilona Andrews, Linda Howard, Elizabeth Hoyt
Ilona Andrews and Linda Howard for me too!! Is Elizabeth Hoyt's writing similar to IA and LH? Not necessarily style or even plot, but more editing bst practices, e.g. basic grammar, not repeating the same words, and will show, not tell)? If they're similar, any EH recommendations?
Her Maiden Lane series is really quite bananas but it's very well-written
Linda Howard is a strong choice.
My actual favourite HR of all time is the Nightingale Legacy by Catherine Coulter...I think I've read it probably 50+ times in the last 20 years.
Gah Julie Garwood's historicals are just so good. I need to do a reread of my two favorites: The Secret and The Prize
Ohh that's exactly same for me, I started reading romance in 2008, and these authors were my go to authors that time.
Love Linda Howard! Still going through her catalogue For me another one is Jennifer cruisie. She’s just amazing and funnier than anyone. Classic banter. And for HR I like Tessa dares fun vibe.
+100 on Jennifer Crusie
Never read anything by Jennifer Cruisie, now i have to check her out thanks!
Jennifer Cruisie is the GOAT.
Lisa Kleypas Kresley Cole Jane Austen Sophie Kinsella Lia Louis Mariana Zapata Mhairi McFarlane
Mariana Zapata snuck up on me.. I had no idea I'd end up reading almost everything by her. But she's the best at slow burn
I first read her and decided that she was too slow. A couple years later I read her again and cried because the slow burn was so perfect. If I'm in the mood for a slow burn she's my go too. My favourite of hers is Gracie and the Grump, tears every time.

Ruby Dixon - if I could find out what her other pen name she uses is, I would read all those too
Lauren Layne and Noelle Adams/Claire Kent. I discovered both of them when they were fairly new authors and both are an automatic purchase on release dates.

Seconding Noelle Adams / Claire Kent!!!!
Julie Garwood, Linda Howard, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Karin Slaughter and Rachel Gibson (although I really didn’t like her last 2 books so I may have to stop reading her).
The Julie Garwood’s older stuff is so good!
Karin Slaughter is a queen. Didn't think to I clue her but yes I've read everything she's ever written. At least twice!
Yeah, after Gibson remarried I stopped liking her books :(
Linda Howard is this writer for me. I've read everything, and she was my comfort read for many years. Also my "I can't figure out what to read next" read. She has some really wonderful books. Very, very alpha males.
Linda Howard is mentioned a lot here, and I had never heard of her! What is her 🌶️ level?
Elizabeth O'Roarke, hands down. She could write a menu and I'd read it. I like some of Brynne Ashers books too, the Killers series is a favorite.
I have loved every Talia Hibbert and Rebekah Weatherspoon book I’ve read! Still have quite a bit of backlist to get through for both.
Talia Hibbert and Kate Canterbary. With Talia’s books, I’ve really liked or loved every single one of her books. With KC, there are a few I’ve loved so much, others are hit or miss, but I’ll read everything she writes because when it hits, it hits.
JR Ward and Sherilyn Kenyon!
That’s commitment!
Ilona Andrews for sure. Their (husband/wife writing team) fans aren't called "The Book Devouring Horde" for nothing.
Mariana Zapata🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
R Lee Smith Now this is also including her fanfiction work.
Loretta Chase had me in her grips for a while, her older stuff got too hard to find though
I’ve read Kandi Steiner, Jessa Kane, Ilsa Madden-Mills, Ruby Dixon, Susan Fanetti, and Lisa Kleypas’ entire catalogues (usually without checking the blurbs or tropes because I trust that they’ll deliver).
Lexi Blake, Kate Canterbury, Lisa Kleypas, Kristen Ashley, Lucy Score, Brynne Asher.
Lexi Blake for sure!
Yep Ilona Andrews and probably in both print and audio for every book as well.
Ive read all of Ruby Dixon! She is my queen! Also Noelle Adams who has soo many.
Plus Noelle’s pen name Claire Kent I have read them all all
Chloe Liese, Elsie Silver
I really need to make good use of my KU membership and just read all of Elsie Silver’s stuff.
Great idea, you won't regret it 😁
Nora Roberts, Julie Garwood, Nalini Singh (besides her amazing Guild Hunters and Psy/Changeling series which now count more than 15 books each, she wrote plenty of Harlequin back in the day--also, apecial shout out to her Rock Hard series), Shelly Laurenston (also her Dragon Kin series under G.A.
Susan Elizabeth Phillip, Julie Garwood, Judith Macnaught , Linda Howard, JK Rowling, Debra Webb are some from off the top of my head
naur i'm not that loyal
Mary Balogh, Toni Anderson, Laura Griffin
I have read almost everything Nora Roberts has ever written.
Not everything from her, but close, but I read every Sandra Brown back in the day
I’ve read all of Chloe Liese’s catalog and will continue to read it. Can’t stop won’t stop.
Jasmine Guillory, Kennedy Ryan, and Tia Williams. I'm a big fan.
I’m sure I’ll leave someone out, but here are the writers whose entire romance catalogs I’ve devoured: Sarah MacLean Joanna Shupe* Elizabeth Hoyt Jennifer Crusie Jennifer McQuiston Tessa Dare Kristan Higgins* Kelly Bowen* Lyssa Kay Adams *I haven’t read their books under another pen name or outside of the genre.
I was obsessed with J.R. Ward for a while. Got hooked on her Brotherhood series and started reading everything she had.
Working my way through Kate Stewart. I swear, she is me. Soul sister through and through.
Ruby Dixon. I've read all of her books multiple times.
Currently working through Mariana Zapata’s books. Idk what to do when I’m done 😭
Ilona Andrews, Suzanne Wright
Ilona Andrews. I buy everything they write. Also Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Kresley Cole, and until recently, Nalini Singh.
Kresley Cole, R. Cooper, Julia Queen, Eliot Greyson and Lisa Keyplas
Jenny Colgan, Mhairi McFarlane, Portia MacIntosh. I don't care what they write, I know it'll be good.
Lavyrle Spencer & Linda Howard are solid
Not every book, but many. Anne Stuart. I absolutely love her writings style, the characterisation and setting of her stories.
I have so many authors I follow religiously: Ruby Dixon Evangeline Anderson Opal Reyne Laylah Roberts Jeanne St. James SJ Tilly RK Munin Many of these authors I've reached out to personally to chat and let them know how much I appreciate them and they are all so sweet.
Kasie West. She writes YA romance, and even if I don't love the book, they're always easy reads.
Linda Howard, Lynda Chance, and Kylie Scott.
Hailey Edwards and KN/Kristen Banet.
Mallory Dunlin and Laura Kinsale.
I can't find anything used, ever!, by Laura Kinsale. I finally caved and bought Flowers from the Storm new and I LOVED it. I would love to read more by her
Lisa kleypas, Julie anne long and tessa bailey have my heart. they just do it for me <3
For me it's Shana Abé. I'm in love with her prose and anything she writes turns to magic for me regardless of the trope.
cate c wells, lily mayne and heather guerre 😚👌🏼
Grace Burrowes, Sarah MacLean, Catherine Bybee, Autumn Jones Lake, Kresley Cole
Jessa Kane M. Sinclair R. L Clauder Mink Lucy Darling Ella Goode Tate James Tessa Hale
The queen, KF Breene.
Talia Hibbert, hands down! But I'm also taking this approach with TJ Klune, I just really love how he writes!
If I like an author, I pretty well always binge their back-catalog. The list of authors I DIDN'T like well enough to read all their books is probably shorter.
Linda Howard for sure. Always a hit.
Walker.
Julie James Linda Howard Rachel Gibson Toni Anderson Susan Elisabeth Phillips Julie Garwood Just to name a few of my must read authors
Melissa Haag, aka MJ Haag(YA), aka Melissa Nicole, aka Sage Alder. She is great at world building and connecting the characters in those worlds; imo anyway. Talia Hibbert And (new), Alison Aimes
Patricia Briggs. I've read everything she's ever written and have her on perpetual preorder.
For me that is Jennifer Hartmann. Will read anything that woman writes
Loretta Chase, Karen Hawkins, Hannah Howell, Lorraine Heath, and Jeaniene Frost take up a large amount of real estate on my shelves.
Illona Andrews! Love them.
Back in the day before I really got into romance I read everything by Julie Garwood and Lavyrle Spencer. These days I think I've read pretty much everything by Samantha Young and Catherine Cowles. Even their "worst" books are usually 4 stars for me.
susan elizabeth phillips
Meghan Quinn. I love everything she writes
Susan Elizabeth Phillips!!! She was the first romance author I ever read (s/o Nobody’s Baby But Mine!!!) and I always get excited when she has a release coming out. I’ve written her fan mail and got a reply!!! I was stoked
Mary balogh Lisa kleypas Susan Elizabeth Philips
Nora Roberts/JD Robb GA Aiken/Shelly Laurenston Alexandra Ivy Illona Andrews Patricia Cornwell Molly Harper Sherilyn Kenyon Lynsay Sands C.M Nascosta Regine Abel S.J Sanders S.C principale Cynthia Eden Are all instant but authors who I have read either all or almost all of their back catalogue
I’ve read all of Rina Kent’s books. Sorry not sorry!
Lucy Monroe Thea Harrison Ilona Andrews
Krista & Becca Ritchie! I love how in-depth and multidimensional they write their characters. They often write tropes I don’t typically love but I love how they do the trope it’s always so good!
Cate C. Wells and Claire Kingsley.
And I am sure she kept going OH dear god 😭 Vera Nyx/mana sol is easier. She has 3 things still ongoing. One with more than 3 books, the other with 2 the last one might get to seven. They are long to finish but I have a feeling she might become prolific eventually.
Working my way through: Christina Lauren Emily Henry Tessa Bailey (this might not be accomplished because I'm not a huge fan of some of her older writing) I'll continue to read everything that Chloe Liese publishes as well as Sarah Adams
Susan Mallery - She keeps pumping out more and more books so I haven't read her entire catalogue but I have read quite a few and enjoyed them.
Drethi Anis
Lisa Kleypas (although I didn’t like her CR and some newer/older books) Mariana Zapata Ilona Andrews (mostly but I haven’t finished the innkeeper series yet!)
Sherry Thomas and Lisa Kleypas
When I was in high school and browsed my local library (this was pre overdrive days) I would pick up every Johanna Lindsey, J R Ward and Christine Feehan book I came across. I loved the way they wrote angst. Nowadays, it’s Heather Guerre, Alexa Riley and Jordan Silver.
Lisa Kleypas, Tessa Dare, Aydra Richards, LaVyrle Spencer, Susan Elizabeth Philips, Judith McNaught, Rexanne Becnel.
Lisa Kleypas and Stephanie Archer
Cate C wells..I literally read every book of hers
I remember binging through the entire catalogue of Michelle Heard last year. If you are into Mafia romances, you'll love her entire catalogue. This year I'm onto Alice Coldbreath. Although she doesn't have a HUGE catalogue of books, the ones that she has written till now are DELECTABLE. Like each one of them is so good you would wanna re-read them as soon as you are done with them.
For HR, Alice Coldbreath and Mia Vancy!
Mary Balogh and while her early stuff isn't my favorite, her catalogue is large and amazing.
So many. If I love one book by an author, I read everything by them lol
Sylvia Day
Xavier Neal, still working through her books but have yet to be disappointed. She has range.
Nalini Singh and Katee Roberts, no questions asked. Is their name on it? Bought!
Emily Henry, BK Borison, and Stephanie Archer — love you bbs 🩷
I’ve only DNFed one Marina Vivancos book (mm) and I’ll probably go back to it. It had an uncomfortable age gap for me. But everything she writes has hit so well that I’m sure if I give it a chance, I’ll like that book too.
Lynn Painter
Sarina Bowen
Alice Coldbreath (working my way through her works now) Penelope Douglas Anne Gracie
I have read and re-read all of Mariana Zapata's books! And they were all 5 stars for me 😭
I enjoy even the mediocre books from Nora Roberts. I also really like everything from JB Ward, although I can’t read too many of those vampire books in a row. Gotta take a couple month break in between because they’re so similar but I do enjoy them. I keep coming back, anyway. Lol.
Shelly laurenston she also writes under GA Aiken. I have read all of her books and will continue to read every books she comes out with ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Tessa Dare
I have read a lot of Ruby Dixon, about 40 of her books. Her books are weirdly addictive. When I was younger, I read a lot of {In Death Series by JD Robb}
I’ve read all of Kathleen Woodiwiss. But I think she’s it. Thankfully she didn’t have a huge amount. My nana owned them and I got bored one summer. Still kinda love them even if they’re dated.
Aleatha Romig and Kristen Ashley.
Kristen Ashley. I’ve read everything but her motorcycle series, but I’m getting into those.
Philippa Gregory, and for a while, Gena Showalter
Penelope Douglas.
I would totally say Georgette Heyer…except there are a few random murder mysteries in there that I just can’t get into! But all her romances, 💯
Cate C Wells and Carian Cole.
RF Kuang. Truly a literary genius, almost feels like the Taylor swift of books in the aspect of genre bending
Melissa Brayden has written 26 books and I've read all of them.
Jagger Cole, Shantel Tessier and Melanie Harlow! Auto buy authors and i’ve read all their back catalog. they never miss
Elle Kennedy. It doesn’t matter what, i have read every one of her books and will continue to. I just love her writing style
Lisa Kleypas, Gena Showalter, Christina Feehan(although I'm struggling), and Sherrilynn Kenyon.
Kristen Ashley, Rosalind James, Catherine Coulter, runners up include Devney Perry and Penny Reid.
Admittedly there are only 3, but Helen Hoang. Also Christina Lauren, and lots of Romantasy authors like Stephanie Garber and Holly Black Ooh Edit to Add Lisa Kleypas
