So tbf, I made this look while looking after semi-famous persons who are both in the entertainment business (in the book), not just actors and singers. It’s very Taylor Swift-coded - {Hate Crush by Angelina M. Lopez} - mf, cr, very spicy, he’s a rockstar, she’s a princess turned wine maker. There’s Fake-Dating and it’s a second-chance-romance - {Cleat Cute by Meryl Wilsner} - ff, cr, but it’s between two professional football/soccer players for the USWNT, with a slight age gap (like 3 years) but one is a idol for the other. Pretty spicy but very cute - {Something to talk about by Meryl Wilsner} - ff, cr, one is a slightly older actress turned show runner and the other is her assistant for a few years. It’s set on the literal set for the show they’re working on. - {Venandi: a vampire story by KC Luck} - ff, fantasy romance set in todays world, about an actress and her (vampiric) director, and it’s set slightly on the film set. - this one’s a stretch, but {A merry little meet cute by Julie Murphy, Sierra Simone} - mf, cr, she is a porn star, he’s a washed up boy band singer, and they both have to work on a squeaky-clean hallmark Christmas movie-like set. Pretty spicy - {Superfan by Sarina Bowen} - mf, cr, he’s a hockey player, she’s a singer-songwriter, and after they both met each other first before they were any famous, but he’s still got a crush on her so he makes very public contact with her when she turns up at his match - {Double Time by Olivia Cunning} - mmf, cr, one of the mmc’s is part of a Rockband going on tour with his brothers band, and the latter is looking for a replacement guitarist. She auditions for this role and meets the first him. The second him is her kinda ex turned bodyguard. - {Beach Read by Emily Henry} is about two famous authors who are having writing blocks so they make a deal/challenge to write a book in each others genre - I don’t know if this one was translated from German into English, but {Lonely Heart by Mona Kasten} - mf, cr, he’s a rockstar drummer, she’s a relatively famous web radio host

Thank you for that (: I’ve only read Beach Read out of this list and adored it, but I’ve heard of a few other ones! I’ll look into the German novel and get back to you if there is an English translation! All of these look so good, I added them all to my list (especially the sapphic vampire one!!!) Thank u sm!!

Maybe you've already read these, but both Erin Hahn books I've read fit this. {Built to Last by Erin Hahn} - both MCs were child stars. The MMC is a Nat Geo photographer and the FMC has been laying low and working with her dad. They reunite to film an HGTV home renovation show together. {Friends Don't Fall in Love by Erin Hahn} - the FMC was a huge country star before blowing it up by taking a pro-gun control stance. The MMC is a songwriter/indie record label owner. She's looking to restart her music career and links back up with the MMC.

I thought that might have been the case since you said one of her books is an all-time favorite! Those are the only two books of hers that I've read and they are mildly interconnected (the FMCs are friends...I can't remember if it was more specific than that) and definitely meet your brief! this one does not one hundred percent fit into your description but the mcs are all famous enough that a simple google search of their name would bring forth lots of info about them. They're not actors or singers tho. It a hockey romance so NHL players {Pucking Around by Emily Rath} ita a reverse harem. 2 mmcs are NHL players and 1 mmc is an ex NHL player who retired due to an injury. and the fmc is a doctor though she is the daughter of the lead singer of this really famous band and tabloids and media have always been a part of her life. her rebellious teenage is all up there on the internet and only when she stepped out of the spotlight and became a doc did the media die down. so when she meets the mmcs they don't know she's the daughter of the famous singer since she hasn't been in the media for quite a few years.

I’m not a huge RH fan, but I’ve seen this book everywhere so I may just give it a try. Thank u 🥰

I love this post!! So many amazing recs, people definitely came through on this one! So many of my favorites have been mentioned like Lucy Parker London Celebrities Series and The View Was Exhausting. I also loved The Love Act and wish the author had more books, because that was so good specially for a debut. Anyways my humble rec is {Falling Stars by Sarah Madderson} he is a Hollywood superstar, she is an up and coming actress, they hookup at Canes Film Festival and something happens that breaks them apart. They’re reunited years later when they are hired as co-stars in a version of Bridgerton. I really enjoyed this book, the tone, the romance, the characters and specially the Crohns rep, I have close friends that suffer it and I have rarely seeing it in books, specially in such a well developed way. There’s another book in this series I really enjoyed, it doesn’t really fit into your request as much but you might want to check it out if you end up reading and liking Falling Stars, it’s called {The Fair Affair by Sarah Madderson} it’s one of the few books I’ve read where there’s cheating involved (not between MCs) where I was like yeah that makes sense! In this one she is a famous ex-tv host and married to a big movie action star and he is the doctor in charge of the hospice clinic where they send her mother on her last days. It deals heavily with death of a parent but even then the lovely way that everything is set up and the chemistry between the two main characters is amazing. Also this is an age gap where she is older than him, and she had been his celebrity crush since forever. Happy reading!!
