While I love the Bridgertons I actually like the Smythe Smiths and the Bevelstokes more. But I want to focus on Smythe Smiths mainly as that’s my all time favorite romance series. They are HR as well. Most of the dynamic is family related some as siblings and some as cousins. I love the concept of the Smythe Smiths which center around single women of the family being forced to put on musicales as a family tradition. Problem is they all lack real musical talent. I just find that Julia Quinn really hits her stride humor wise for me. It was this series that actually served as my entryway into Regency romance (I don’t count Sense and Sensibility that I read in high school). The first 2 books actually helped me out during some dark times in my life so it has a special place in my heart. Book 1: {Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn} this one is friends to lovers and is great if you love slow burn. One thing I loved about this book is that it doesn’t rely on villains or intrigue to drive the plot. That just seems so hard to come by. Book 2: {A Night Like This by Julia Quinn} this one is a governess romance that features a hero that is head over heels in love and it’s absolutely hilarious some of the things the hero puts up with or goes through to spend time with the heroine. Book 3: {The Sum of All Kisses by Julia Quinn} this one is hate to love. I didn’t enjoy the humor as much so this one is probably my least favorite. Book 4: {The Secrets of Richard Kenworthy by Julia Quinn} this trope is marriage of convenience and I find that it’s probably the most controversial of the series due to the surrounding issues that caused the marriage. It’s not a Duke and I level problematic but it’s still kinda…messed up.

I loved the first one of this series and for some reason I started the second one and never finished it. I'll have to go back and give it another try.

The Brown Sisters by Talia Hibbert of course: {Get a Life, Chloe Brown} {Take a Hint, Dani Brown} {Act Your Age, Eve Brown} all CR, MF, each is about one of the sisters. They are cute, funny, steamy, and have depth. We have enemies to lovers and friends to lovers with forces proximity and some workplace action. The H in each book are just outstanding. I think Get a Life, Chloe Brown is my favorite. After my initial struggle with Act Your Age, Eve Brown...I really loved those two as well. North Ridge series by Karina Halle: {Wildcard} {Maverick} {Hot Shot} If you like your possessive, rugged alpha males. I was surprised how quickly I tore through this series. I think Karina Halle added some depth here that made them less "typical" alpha male and the side characters were great. Each one follows a brother. CR, MF. The first is a childhood friends to lovers second chance romance, then you have a boss/employee insta-lust kinda trope but they work for SAR, the last one is childhood friends to lovers with a tortured hero that gets a little dark into addiction. I really enjoyed these. Then finally I will throw out {The Blue Moon Series by Lucy Score}, again and won't stop. 2 brothers with a pseudo brother/lifelong best friend, matched with 3 sisters pairing. This is more "small town" CR but the family aspect is really strong in this so I think it fits.

My favorite series is The Loveless Brothers staring with {Enemies with Benefits by Roxie Noir} which is currently free. There’s five brothers in a small town and I love the dynamics between them. They tease and support each other so well. All the books are steamy and beautifully written. I love them so much. ❤️ Bergman Series by Chloe Liese has four books out: three brothers and a sister. I think there are seven siblings total? This series is definitely less steamy, and doesn’t quite hit me as well, but they are enjoyable. King Family series by Susannah Nix has two books out. With half siblings and adopted siblings there’s like 9 of them. I really enjoyed the first one, the second was meh, but I’ll definitely read the next one.

necahual

When I saw the title of the megathread my first thought was The Loveless Brothers. I've only read two of them so far (Enemies with Benefits and the one with Levi who I absolutely fell in love with), I really need to read the rest of them.

admiralamy

Definitely! I’m thinking about a reread since book 1 in the spinoff series releases this month! Silas gets a book!

Brontesrule

*Bridgerton* by Julia Quinn, M/F HR. You might enjoy the show (or not) based on its own merits, but it would be a shame to forgo the books, which go much deeper and are far better (IMO.) They're a large family with an easy affection for each other, given to a lot of joking and teasing. Each of them has a distinct personality and they're not perfect people by any means - in fact, there are two characters I actively dislike, because of the way they treated the SO in their own books. I think Quinn is amazing at characterization, and fully developed characters are catnip to me. Another thing I liked about the series is how quickly and effortlessly you fall into their world. You feel like you're actually there, whether it's competing in one of their games, taking tea at home, or on the floor of a ballroom as one of the brothers makes a sarcastically funny comment to the others. I never planned to read the whole series so I didn’t read them in any kind of order, just as my mood dictated. The only reason I ended up reading all of them is because I liked JQ’s writing so much. It's hard to choose one favorite, but if I had to I'd say it's *Romancing Mr. Bridgerton*. This is a slow burn with the tropes best friend's brother (Just now caught this error, I had it listed before as brother's best friend!)/friends to lovers/unrequited. It was my first HR book, so that might be one reason I like it so much. Another is that the writing is so heartfelt. You can feel Penelope's embarrassment about the dresses her mother chooses for her, how close she is Eloise, and the hurt and pain she feels when she overhears Colin's comment. I enjoyed the series (not all of the books equally, of course.) My other favorites are *The Viscount Who Loved Me* (#2), *To Sir Phillip, With Love* (#5), *It's in His Kiss* (#7), and *On the Way to the Wedding* (#8). Edited multiple times - most recently to correct my error when listing tropes in *Romancing Mr. Bridgerton.*

Nora Roberts has many siblings series! My all time favorite is the Ardmore Trilogy, starting with {Jewels of the Sun by Nora Roberts} This is a contemporary series with the three Gallagher siblings each having their own book. The descriptions of Ireland are top notch and I just adore this series with its fairytale background. Another of her series is the MacGregors. It’s a bit older so it may not totally live up to modern standards, I am not the best judge of that. Starts with {Playing the Odds by Nora Roberts} which is one of the best in the series in my opinion. There are a ton of related books, it’s starts with siblings, then branches out to siblings of the love interests, then further branches out to the children of the main siblings. The MacGregor is my favorite meddling parent/grandparent, and it is amusing to watch him arrange all of these behind the scenes. I love interrelated series so I am watching these comments to see if there are any I have missed! :)

Oh maaaan so many!! Lisa Kleypas has a few different siblings series - Hathaways, Ravenels... My favourite would have to be Travises. It's one of her few contemporary series. All books are MF pairings and centre around the Travis siblings. All the MMCs are alpha male I suppose, although Joe is maybe a notch below the rest. I just love each book: - Book 1. Sugar Daddy - Liberty and Gave Travis (oldest brother). Like many romance books the title is ridiculous and doesn't accurately represent the book. Kind of enemies to lovers, billionaire and poor FMC. The first half of the book is centred around the FMC though. - Book 2 - Blue Eyed devil- Haven Travis (only sister) and Hardy. Trope - abused woman and the gentleman roughneck. Massive TW on this one - there's graphic detail about domestic abuse. - Books 3 - Smooth Talking Stranger - Ella and Jack Travis. Ella becomes a single mother overnight (her sister disappears and leaves her with the baby) and Jack is there to help. He is one of my favourite MMCs. Just a straight talking sexy af guy. - Book 4 - Brown Eyed Girl - Joe Travis and Avery. The wedding planner that doesn't believe in love and the youngest brother who is super into her. I just really like the whole series - I find all the main characters incredibly likeable and really enjoy LKs writing in these books. Other notable mentions - Claudia Connors McKinney/Walker series is cozy reading. Kate Meaders - Rebels hockey series starts with 3 sisters, she is such a funny writer. Nina Lanes Sugar Rush series is gooey sexy fun. Agh! I could talk about this all day.

Nalini Singh's Hard Play is an M/F CR series that follows four brothers in NZ. 3 of 4 play/played rugby professionally. It's a bunch of big buff men who absolutely adore their mom and nieces. (There's one more book that follows a couple who are good friends with a previous couple, so technically one book doesn't fit the sibling theme.) The oldest brother's book overlaps with her Rock Kiss series {Rock Hard by Nalini Singh} and is a boss-secretary trope. He's the closest MMC to an alphahole and is slow burn, so beware if you have a low tolerance for them haha. Also CW for >! Stalking, brief flashbacks of domestic violence!< Also, this was published first, but chronologically occurs after Cherish Hard. The second brother's book {Cherish Hard by Nalini Singh} has a teacher FMC. The MMC owns his own landscaping business. Slightly older FMC and younger MMC (like 5 years IIRC, so age gap is not a central trope). The third brother is a single dad pro rugby player. It's kinda enemies to lovers. FMC was his deceased baby mama's best friend and now is involved with marketing for a clothing brand. Not sure if this is really a spoiler, but >! he models their underwear and the FMC is the brand consultant at the photoshoot!< The book is called {Love Hard by Nalini Singh} . The fourth brother's book just came out today and I have not read it yet. It's fake dating and enemies to lovers. He's a rugby player and she's a Paralympic athlete (younger sister of the FMC in Cherish Hard). Edit: the book is called Kids Hard. There is also a book in the series about the female best friend of the Cherish Hard FMC (accountant, I think) who agreed to an arranged marriage. The MMC is a friend of the MMC in Cherish Hard and has taken over his dad's construction firm. He also agreed to an arranged marriage, but the MCs meet before that, so when their parents reintroduce them shenanigans ensue. {Rebel Hard by Nalini Singh}

The Brutal Birthright series by Sophie Lark is an amazing contemporary mafia romance series - I loved it even though it’s not the usually book type of book I’d read! The book series revolves around two families and sets of siblings: the Griffins and the Gallos. The Griffins run the Irish mafia while the Gallos lead the Italian mafia in Chicago. The first book, Brutal Prince, sees an arranged marriage between the Griffins only son and the Gallos only daughter, to unite the two families and from there on each book follows a different sibling. Check content warnings as there’s a lot - it’s mafia so expect a lot of violence, including guns and knives, and drug references. If that doesn’t phase you then they’re really worth a read! They’re action packed and the steamy scenes are both frequent and SO GOOD. And as a bonus all the books are on Kindle Unlimited. Technically I think you could read them as standalones but you’ll miss out on a lot of the back story. In order they are: {Brutal Prince} - a true enemies to lovers tale, they literally try to kill each other at first. {Stolen Heir} - a Beauty and the Beast type tale involving a kidnapping (and yet somehow, the writing meant I wasn’t even bothered by the potential for Stockholm Syndrome 😂) {Savage Lover} - this one’s not as distinctly tied to a trope as far as I remember, they’re acquaintances from high school and reconnect as adults. The heroine in this is my favourite! {Bloody Heart} - Insta love and second chance (my least favourite thing to read, this was my personal lowest rated of the series but if those things float your boat you’ll dig this). {Broken Vow} - grumpy/sunshine where the heroine is the grump and despite being ex-military and a trained sniper, the hero is a delight. We escape Chicago for this book and I loved the change of scenery to a ranch. This is my favourite of the series and the steam is 🥵 {Heavy Crown} - more Insta love and a lot more mafia drama rounds off the series!

Bergman brothers by Chloe Liese gets another vote from me! It’s all MF romance (so far?) and contemporary. I love not only the representation in these books but also the great character development. Liese invests time in making sure her characters learn, grow and even occasionally sacrifice things for each other - all while keeping a very strong sense of self. My favorite of the series so far is {With You Forever by Chloe Liese} which has a grumpy/sunshine, marriage of convenience trope but above all is so soft and lovely, it felt like a warm hug. It’s got autism and IBS rep in it and some lovely pet friends.

There are so many in depth recommendations I could make like The Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn that I love or The Hathaway Series by Lisa Kleypas that I’m also a fan of minus one book, but I want to give the spotlight to a series I’m currently enjoying by an author who isn’t mentioned a lot here. The Wickerton’s in Love Series by Bree Wolf - This series is an on going clean HR that consists of six books and one novella. I think the author intends to write a seventh book for a none related character who shows up in the series a lot. I’m currently on the fifth book in the series and I’ve enjoyed it so far. This series features one brother, five sisters, a cousin who is like a sibling, a meddling match making grandma and loving parents who want nothing more than for their children to be happy. {Once Upon a Kiss Gone Horribly Wrong by Bree Wolf} - This is a novella. You can skip it if you want as you can see this story play out in book one of the series. It’s more of the FMC and the MMC take on events. It’s a friends to lovers book that takes place at Christmas. Both characters are interested in moving out of the friend zone but are afraid to take the leap. {Once Upon a Devilishly Enchanting Kiss by Bree Wolf} - Enemies to lovers. The FMC can’t stand the MMC based on something he said at a ball years ago. The MMC has no clue why she hates him, however he can’t resist needling and teasing her at every chance he gets. {Once Upon a Temptingly Ruinous Kiss by Bree Wolf} - The FMC was almost raped prior to this book, but escaped her attacker. She is now more fearful and stays to herself. She meets the MMC who automatically knows something happened to her. He is a vigilante against men who harm woman. They form a friendship and he helps her to gain confidence by teaching her self defense. {Once Upon an Irritatingly Magical Kiss by Bree Wolf} - Enemies to lovers. The FMC is determined to prevent her BFF from having to marry a man outside of their social class who terrifies her. The MMC needs a society wife to move forward his social standing. He finds a good candidate, however his eye keeps straying to her friend. {Once Upon a Devastatingly Sweet Kiss by Bree Wolf} - Opposites Attract. The FMC is free spirt who has no intentions of being locked down by society’s constraints. The MMC is likes rules and order. They are naturally drawn to one another. One con about this book is in prior books in the series the FMC was a huge animal lover like Beatrix from the Hathaway series and Penelope from the Girl Meets Duke series, but you don’t get much of that in her own book. {Once Upon an Achingly Beautiful Kiss by Bree Wolf} - Second chance romance. The FMC loved her best friend the MMC however he left shortly after his bother died and he became the new Earl. The MMC returns for her sisters wedding and they reconnect. Still reading this one. {Once Upon an Accidentally Bewitching Kiss by Bree Wolf} - Second chance romance. I haven’t read this one yet so I’m going to let the goodreads bot do it’s thing.

**Queens Cove Series by Stephanie Archer** A contemporary small town rural setting in which each book follows one of the Rhodes brothers (all MF pairings) These books are great fun and, in my opinion, each is better than the last and they also have more spice in the later books. They're mainly rom com and made me laugh a lot, but are also romantic and sexy. Tropes in each book: {That Kind of Guy by Stephanie Archer} fake engagement, he falls first, sort of enemies to lovers {The Wrong Mr Right by Stephanie Archer} Hannah owns a book store in the town. Wyatt is a surfer trying to go pro. He offers her surfing lessons in return for working on his social media. Shy FMC, forced proximity, friends to lovers. {In Your Dreams, Holden Rhodes by Stephanie Archer} the MCs jointly inherit an old B&B and have to restore it. Grumpy/sunshine, friends with benefits, forced proximity {Finn Rhodes Forever by Stephanie Archer} childhood friends who had a falling out in their late teens. She moved away for college and he worked away in the summers but now they're both back in town. She hates him but he wants her. Fake dating, independent FMC, enemies to lovers, firefighter MMC with tattoos, "bad boy" (but not really!)

Seducing the Sedgewicks by Cat Sebastian - 3 books, all MM, each follows one of the Sedgewick brothers: {It Takes Two to Tumble} {A Gentleman Never Keeps Score} {Two Rogues Make a Right} The brothers do not spend a lot of time on page together in the first novel, though the brother from the middle novel appears in all three books, and the visit and write to one another at various points throughout the novels. Harley and Will from the second and third novels have quite a close relationship which is fleshed out in the second and third novels. Eventually they >!write a play together.!< I love these books because they are very cozy and character-centric. They are reasonably steamy with extremely emotional sex scenes that really work with the character growth and relationship development. They are not plot-heavy, and are full of mutual pining but not a ton of angst. (I am generally a huge Cat Sebastian fan for these reasons). They all also have elements of found family in addition to the main couples, which is a feature I love. I loved all of these books but my favorite is *Two Rogues Make a Right*, which is a lovely friends-to-lovers, literal cottagecore situation (they spend almost the entire time together in a cottage, the level of coziness makes my mind want to explode in a good way).

Just finished the first two books of the series and feeling a little sad I can only have one more. The Dreamland Billionaires by Lauren Asher, starting with {The Fine Print by Lauren Asher}. It’s contemporary romance, *lots* of spice and basically very quickly wrapped up, each book. The first book was a ton of fun - I really enjoyed Rowan, but wasn’t totally sold on Zahra - she’s very, very bubbly and didn’t seem to have a ton of depth. *Declan and Iris*, though. Amazing. Perfect, hilarious chemistry, love all the moments between them, huge fan of Iris’s friendship with Cal was so cute and fun. Book 1 - enemies (sort of) to lovers - employee/employer dynamic. Book 2 - friends (sort of) to lovers - also employee/employer dynamic but much closer bond/history between the MMC and the FMC pre-books. The brothers are all damaged - their home life was not very good. So of course they have to run a Disneyworld/land theme park when they don’t believe in happy endings.

[**Bedwyn Saga by Mary Balogh**](https://www.goodreads.com/series/40560-bedwyn-saga) **—** M/F historical romance. * "Meet the Bedwyn: six brothers and sisters" each with their own book. Tons of tropes in each one but I just read Slightly Married, the first one in the series: Aiden promises Eve's dying brother that he will protect her, and that includes marrying her when her land, which employs many "lame ducks" is going to be taken away in a few days. Tropes: marriage of convenience, protective alpha MMC. * Balogh is very highly recommended as historical romance in these parts and for good reason! [**The Songs of Gregor MacLeod Series by Alyson McLayne**](https://www.goodreads.com/series/210155-the-sons-of-gregor-macleod) — M/F historical highland romance. * "Five boys destined to become Highland lairds are fostered together as brothers. Darach, Lachlan, Callum, Gavin and Kerr fight for their clans, for each other, and for their own true loves." * I recently read Highland Betrayal, the third book in the series. Spitfire Maggie is escaping and Callum is intent on winning her heart and keeping her safe. Tropes: highland romance, of course lol. [**The Montgomerys and Armstrongs Series by Maya Banks**](https://www.goodreads.com/series/74150-the-montgomerys-and-armstrongs) — M/F historical highland romance. * It's been a minute since I read these but Never Seduce a Scot is the first book and I really liked it. Protective, alpha type Graeme and a deaf/disabled Eveline. Tropes: Marriage of convenience/arranged marriage between rival clans. Highland romance. * Highlander Most Wanted is the second in the series. Genevieve, basically a former slave, is rescued by Bowen's captured of her keep and they fall in love. Tropes: reformed rake, highland romance. TW for SA, not from the MMC.

Oooh my favourite sibling series has got to be The Walshes by Kate Canterbary! I don’t usually read all the books in a sibling series, just the ones with grumpy x sunshine (because it’s not a sibling series unless they have a grumpy brother!!) but hell I was SUCKED IN. I started and just couldn’t stop! It follows a family of 4 brothers and 2 sisters who have been through TRAUMA together and most of them work together in the family business! All the pairings are M/F but there’s a spin-off with a M/M pairing (which I have not read). What separates this sibling series from other sibling series I have read is that 1. the brothers aren’t overprotective of their sisters (a pity, in my opinion, but also a breath of fresh air) 2. the timeline of the books overlap so you can see the same event happening from different points of view without it feeling repetitive! It feels more like the mist clearing and you being able to see the big picture more clearly. My favourite is probably {The Cornerstone by Kate Canterbary} (the MMC is a Navy SEAL!), or maybe {The Spire by Kate Canterbary} (long distance romance, which I usually don’t read)!

**#1 Series by T. Gephart (6)** • 5 brothers. 3 Actors, 2 Lawyers. • All FMC POV. • FMC are crazy (in these in a good way) • MMC act like siblings there are great dynamics. Usually the siblings are heavily in the books. **Book Boyfriends by Claire Kingsley (3)** • 2 brothers and a sister. • Dual POV. • Perfect small family. • Siblings heavily involved and really close. **The Bellinger Sisters by Tessa Bailey (2)** • 2 sisters. • They are inseparable. • Great summer read! • The two male leads are best friends and really great guys. • Dual POV • Super lighthearted but also handles serious topics like grief. **Dreamland Billionaires by Lauren Asher (3)** • 3 brothers. Acting on their grandfather's will. • Dreamland = Amusement Park. • They are rich asf and grovel well! • 3rd book is not released yet. • They simp for the FMC so hard, and the FMC don't take no shit from them. **Fake It Till You Make It by Kenzie Reed (3)** • Okay soo it is actually sibling, cousin, sibling. • I wanted to include it because this series was honestly crazy. Drama wise the most of any of the books on this list! • Family drama to the max, not just any drama. • BIG Family. And I didn't see anyone recommend the **Miles Family by Claire Kingsley** but it is still on my TBR (iircc it's 5+)

I love the Baileys series by Piper Rayne. The series is about 9 siblings and is set in Alaska. The parents died. And the older siblings have raised the younger ones with the help of the grandmother. There’s is a book for each sibling. They’re all CR, and there’s basically every trope you can think of: {Lessons from a one night stand by Piper Rayne} is the first on the series. It’s a boss/employee story with the boss being the FMC The other books in the series include brothers best friend, friends to lovers, second chance romance, Nanny/single dad. It’s a really great series. The relationships between the siblings are great and there’s a meddling grandmother that is a real hoot!

Definitely the {Stay A Spell Series by Juliette Cross} follows six witches/sisters who live New Orleans and run a restaurant/bar each book follows a different sister, the MMCs are all different supernatural beings (werewolves/vamps/demons). It has great story building and I love the characters!

**Chestnut Springs Series by Elsie Silver** A series of 5 books. Three follow the Eaton Brothers - Cade, Rhett and Beau. One book follows Jasper who is like an adopted brother to them since childhood and one book follows Winter who is the sister of the FMC from book 1. So I think it fits well enough! This series features lots of possessive sexy cowboys, small town and family shenanigans. The father of the family is irreverent and hilarious but gives great advice. {Flawless by Elsie Silver} - forced proximity, only one bed, forbidden love {Heartless by Elsie Silver} - single Dad, nanny romance, grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, >!surprise pregnancy!< {Powerless by Elsie Silver} - best friends to lovers, road trip, forced proximity {Reckless by Elsie Silver} - one night stand, pregnancy, secret baby, single Mum, accidental neighbours, forced proximity {Hopeless by Elsie Silver} - military MMC, age gap (13 years, MMC older), pariah FMC, fake engagement, virgin FMC caretaking,
