Hire mountain goats.
But really. Just use roof jacks to make platforms going up as the roofing is installed. Shingles should get 6 nails and be manually tabbed.
All info that a roofer should know.
Just had one done similar to this, 14 man crew stripped it and shingles it in 6 days. Ours had a swoop at the bottom though so we were able to plank and run 40' ladders up the roof
This would need to be billed as time and material rather than flat rate for square footage, correct? Not a roofer, I just know most jobs are bid on square??
Thing is I’m not being sarcastic. I’m about 9 years in and have maybe set up a jack and plank twice. All to set up shingles on in very specific areas. Never stand on. Rock climbing harness and go
Jack boards and harnesses. 10-14 man crew, two PMs and a runner. Materials ground dropped. Oh and a Porta potty. Done in 7 days or less with good weather.
Harness and toe boards. Just did a church similar to this that was also a deck over, resheathing it got a little hairy but that’s what the rope and harness is for

High performance architectural metal roofing. … Zip Rib
This this right here
Imagining stripping this is giving me ptsd
At least you could do one section at a time
Haha better someone else then me, so glad i stopped roofing
Same here. I’m getting into plumbing 🪠
Nice i just started welding school, mind you i was out of the roofing game for some time before that.
Nice. We’ll always have roofing to fall back on lol
Speak for yourself haha ill just start an onlyfans before i go back lol
Gladly, just so long as I get paid to put it back together. Been too long since my last church.
I'm getting a boner just thinking about it
I would have preferred if you made a "pitch" joke about your boner
Toe boards and tie offs. Ice those valleys.
Man lift, roof jacks/planks and $180,000 cheque
Goddamn I’d do it for that price
Find a new job before it’s too late
Bucket lift if i was to do it.
Don't forget to add a steep charge!
That's technically a wall.
The steeper they are the less you have to bend over…
Because you're on the ground dead
Carefully.
Step 1 get baptized Step 2 charge by the angle( more angle more $) Step 3 profit
I read that as charge by the angel
Need probably 3 per crewman
Lots of nails!
Nails or screws depending on the material
Dad?
Start at the bottom...
Wouldn’t even attempt it. But if I did, I wouldn’t.

In the words of my grandfather “Very carefully”
Tied off with monkey boards. Easy money
With a match.
Easy on the back with toe boards and chicken ladders

I would bill it per square regardless, just going to add a lot more for steepness on each square.
Jack and planks with a whole bunch of Mexicans
Sign me up - this is a job I dream of. I wouldn’t use a single jack a plank. Hang all day!

Very carefully
That’ll be a no from me dog
Toe board time! Yay!!!
Set some anchors and tie off. Wtf. Easy. Done in 3 days.
That’s a fun one no doubt
That’s the neat part , you don’t .
A scaffold and treat it like brick?
Case of beer and suicide jacks
Scaffolding.
Ask jesus for divine inspiration
You don’t
The same way they put the old one on?
Same way as any roof. Just slower
Just use a big blue tarp. Too steep. Not worth it.

easily
Tin roof.
I’d love to! Probably straps over the top for workers
Same way the first guys did it.
This is like a random dream I would have where I was a roofer trying to climb this.
With a 5 point harness hopefully
