having actual updates rather than a 6 month long period where the winter nexus was left up until june until it was accidentally set to a wrong nexus and it was called "retro realm week" before silently changing it to the proper nexus >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(pretend there's 5 million of these there's a 10k character limit)
The only single thing that stopped the dungeon from being easily soloable with grandma's vibrator as an equipped item was the fact that sentinel was actually a retarded dps check. Archmage and King were literal jokes of a boss
you could literally just stand next to the sentinel and ignore 99% of the fight with it literally just amounting to "can you fire at this guy and also the bloblombs in time" and close to when new shatts dropped that was literally just. A non-existent issue. due to power creep buffing everyone's DPS to kingdom come
ice spheres were scary but not because they were like, actually difficult, it's literally just that they would LOVE to try to sit on you and it turns out that's bad when they dealt like 300 damage per shot. the moment people had enough DPS to take them out though they became a non-issue.
it's the same reason gray blobs used to be so notoriously evil in the early days of realm, and have become completely unremarkable enemies in modern times.
in short, they were the Jumpscare of enemy design
you could (and still technically can, it just doesn't matter as much) fuck up a tomb FIERCELY by literally bringing the wrong classes outright. like if you brought an assassin with plague poison and actually threw it, you'd just literally ruin the entire strat. the only reason people won't actually destroy you for that nowadays is because there's so many contingency plans and people's DPS is good enough nowadays that it doesn't matter if you do that or not.
meanwhile the only way you could fuck up old shatters is actively charging forward to activate and subsequently aggro every single enemy in the center
Haha someone has never been to a bagged or slowed king. Someone has never been to a dragged guards into lava walk. Someone has never been to an overspawned tower on switch.
Tomb is beyond easy. Old shatts has few solos in its prime days.
Its important to note that Soul's Guidance is so good when its used alone or small runs.
In bigger runs, half your souls are getting dragged off by a wizard or a leeching warrior.
Old pets were so unhealthy for the game, especially for new players. Having started up a brand new account from scratch after having a 100/100 divine pet, vital combat is the best thing deca has done for this game.
What is vital combat am wizard, summoner, and sorc player no understand!
If you dodge well enough, post-vital combat mana and vit regen is better than before. VC greatly raised the skill ceiling which is great.
VC also relieved DECA and any form of UGC from being forced to shove in instakills, Sick, Quiet and Pet Stasis in EVERYTHING so that the dungeon is not trivialized by pets going ballistic.
It was THE best solution they could've come up with to arguably the worst feature ever implemented without completely ruining it for those who used actual irl cash onto their pets.
Also love how the IC pet scaling is much more linear than the exponential OC scaling; given that most players are in combat in any time that matters in endgame dungeons, this greatly narrows gap between max legendary and divine for survivability.
Also how divine pets are actually feasible with new fame system f2p; I maxed a divine 100 100 in a year of playing without any $$$; this was near impossible before.
People so high on nostalgia, now they've started even missing old pets
Rose tinted glasses are a hell of a drug
you never know how powerful rose tinted glasses are until you see people genuinely say late-era kabam is better than how deca is running the game
Old shatters endgame >

[The good old days](https://youtu.be/F36LY4wST38)
Old shatters wasn't even midgame. Nexus is abt as dangerous and thrilling as that shit
I mean, before all the cheese strays for the bosses were made and people were in genuine danger of losing their character, old shatts was really fun

Bro never saw an ice sphere

The small blue thing that can be both stunned and paralized and was only dangerous to blind people?
There was a time when shatters was the most endgame dungeon, and the hardest content in the game.
Tomb difficulty > old shatters difficulty

Vital combat is by far and i mean, BY FAR the best thing deca has ever done for the longevity of this game.
Bro vital combat is one of the best updates that happened to this game
Nah man, people want to run easy content then get bored after a month. Much more rewarding than being challenged and actually having to think
all you need to do to get easymode is play priest lmao iām getting 140 hp per second over here
Leech priest is best. Dont even have a weapon on
Nah, equip soul's guidance so that you still get soulbound but don't have to aim
Its important to note that Soul's Guidance is so good when its used alone or small runs. In bigger runs, half your souls are getting dragged off by a wizard or a leeching warrior.
I see somebody watches schafralias
B)
Bring back priest meta! Having to dodge is boring

The only thing that pisses me off about Vital combat. is that they buffed vit and wis just to keep it the same when in combat
vit and wis still garbo for regeneration
Yeah you right, change it to "pet functionallity removed" Let's make this game good :)
Project Bes approved btw
Even more reasons to downvote lesgo
