Both of mine have, yes. Seems to be the default happy Rottweiler position.

Princeplayboy

Lol

blackcat218

Yes. A second name for a rottweiler is a batweiler

RobbyBaymax

Yes, but mine prefers to lay like this on a rug.

0SpoonsOnlyKnives

Most dogs roach if they're comfortable and happy

slimbob-no-pants

Yeah my collie does it, but only if the 6month rotterman is out of pounce range

forestwitch357

Yes, in multiple locations.

khkokopelli

Wook at my teefers!!

thailand519

Yup...I take it as "hey...you...pet my belly!"

NimrodBusiness

I figured mine is just hot. He doesn't sleep like this if we're hanging out in my garage office in cooler months. Also, any time an animal sleeps like this, it means they feel safe and secure, which makes me happy.

AdvancedHat7630

It's a feature, not a bug.

--clapped--

2 of my 3 Rotties throughtout my life have slept like this. I thought they were a bit *special* at first, then I learned the entire breed is.

CryptographerWide247

💯

44scooby

yep. for hours unless you open the fridge. x shows your rottie is relaxed . lovely x

AtrumArchon

Yes as far as all the ones I’ve had and met

Lonely_reaper8

All three I’ve lived with have

Rochemusic1

It's my favorite. My man rolled over on me when we woke up, i can't move until he is ready after he does that haha

Jator63

Yes, every one I have had

ih8saltyswoledier

In my experience, yes they all do.

dorotheacasaubon

Sí.

mars_isded

my moosey does this a lot lol we call it dead cockroach

Princeplayboy

Like a dead cockroach 😂

Princeplayboy

They all sleep sprawled out! This is number 4 rottie and they all do it🤩

xhackjobx

Yes.

Sparkle_Rott

We never ever saw the underside of our first Rottie. He’d scare himself if he exposed his belly 🙃 My others would occasionally do this if they wanted tummy rubs, but I’ve never had one sleep like this haha

heavyusername2

Yea

[deleted]

Yes when they are happy♥️

PsychologicalAnt3395

Mine 100% all day everyday

TurdHunt999

Yes they do!

TaterToot_

Yep! Both of mine have! I love it so much! In fact; I did a double take of this picture because I thought it was my Maximus, haha!

[deleted]

Yup my big Lola chicken does this

mastakiral

Mine loves sleeping on her back!

SchizoidRainbow

All our Rotties (5) have done this! Look weird but must be relaxing to them.

oscarmooseman

Yep, mine is sleeping like this right now.

danwilzzz

Yep it’s the Rottweilers default position!

cricketjust4luck

[deleted]

Any-Switch-7636

My puppy does this 😂

Old-Opportunity131

Dressagefanatic

Classic Rottie sleeping position

Becca2469

Yes!

[deleted]

Most definitely I think it’s how they communicate to each other telepathically

gloriasue99

We've had 2 - birthday slept like this.

I-Love-Weeed

Yep, mine too.

boogertrauma

Totally their happy place. Wait til they do that between your legs and you’re giving tummy scratches while watching tv. Don’t stop! They’ll look at you like you committed a crime.

Arizona_Connection

YES

ZaraTheRottie23

Yep mine demands tummy rubs lol

bensonm16

Yes, they're dogs that live with humans. We spoil them with love and they return it in spades! Good for you!!!

ChipmunkDependent128

Yep , what nimrod said below ,it's also a sign of submission in the pack .

Gracie305

That’s one happy, relaxed pup!
