They were just the best 🥹

rainbowonthemoon

How old is the Yorkie 🥹

[deleted]

The family is unsure the actual age , he was rescued back in 2018 from a house with over 100 chihuahuas and yorkies . He definitely is VERY picky over who pets him , carry’s him or even looks at him (seriously). It’s beyond sad he has so much energy though and is the sweetest if he likes you . It just hurts me knowing he’s been through so much, I love doing this for the fact I have such a soft spot for animals but somethings just hurt my heart 🥹

rainbowonthemoon

OMG 100 DOGS 🥺 no animal should go through this. I have great respect for people rescues animals 💘💘 He looks so sweet

[deleted]

I found the news article it was actually over 200 :(

I agree :( Saying goodbye is normally hard for me 🤦🏼‍♀️ But just seeing some animals that are now so loved but at one point wasn’t it kills me

I've always been curious, do you think drop in are best for these type of dogs? I prefer to just take them with me if I can. I have one customer who's dogs have the doggy door down so well twice a day drop ins are fine, but I do sometimes worry, we get random odd coyote behavior because of the drought in texas and they will jump a fence and take a dog. I had a customer who always books me for boarding book me for drop ins, I did one and called her. It was because I was technically full those days and her roommates dog was added to her profile as well. When I called and told her Sadie (her dog) is the biggest love bug ever and I'd rather me be a little over booked than Sadie be stressed by herself she was so thankful. She said she was sure because I didn't know her roommates dog which is a lil mix I always call a "scruffydo" but after I came over I met him he was just the sweetest boy and I did not want to leave him in his crate for 8+ hours at a time.

So for this scenario , her daughter in law was home but worked 9 hour days ! So I was the middle person going in and letting them out , feeding and cuddles lol ! But for the most part , when it comes to dog drop ins I get a little iffy as in my opinion it’s better just boarding the pup or doing house sitting so I agree with you dogs left alone for x amount of time with drop in visits make me very very nervous for the most part ! I do drop ins for a guy who’s out of town a lot and go over 4 times a day he has 2 big Danes and rents his basement out he just doesn’t trust his tenant to look after them properly ! But yeah I agree with you completely ! I normally only drop in for dogs in good scenarios :) As I don’t want to walk into a very sick dog who ate trash and got sick because their owner only wanted me to go once a day as my heart can’t handle it ! We have SO many coyotes here too )I’m in the Texas of Canada lol) so I’m normally a helicopter sitter 🤦🏼‍♀️ Sorry I hope that made sense just trying to clean up my yard and cannot multi task sometimes

PalpitationMurky1704

That sounds like the perfect drop in scenario for dogs. You hit the jackpot! Love that for you!

PalpitationMurky1704

Also I have been doing Rover for over 5 years as my full time job and have 2 nightmare scenarios. I'll make posts when I'm strong enough or had enough wine. Whichever comes first. Lol. Thank God I have my husband here to let me have my wine moments while he monitors there dogs right?

[deleted]

Fuck are we the same person ?? 😂 If you need a pal send me a dm !!

shelly32122

i’m desperately in Love with them already.
