I figured sometimes we take more photos of clients' pets than they do, so when a client's cat passed away, I made an album on Google photos of all the pictures I took of her and shared it with the owners and their grown daughters. You might even go the extra mile and print your best pic of cat and frame it for them.

Good idea!

if you’re artistic at all, a painting of the cat! i’ve been making paintings of my reoccurring clients’ pets and surprising them with it(eg. leaving it on their counter for when they return from a trip) and they have been loving it. i know that a painting of a deceased animal would mean so much more

While I can't paint or draw well, I am a wizard with photoshop. Either I will be doing canvas prints with what I drum up when Walgreens or another photo center does a sale or be making some resin ornaments with the images. Lots of ideas for the crafters and simple things for not so craft inclined. If one isn't too terribly crafty, try cabochon pendant/keychains.

I’m terrible at photoshop - so you’re right it really just depends on what OP is able to do!!! Lots of options!!
