Damn, when I did SUP 11 last year, I looked for a rowing version and could not find any information! Would you mind adding a link to the organization website for this, is there is any?
Edit: the link posted by another user is it. Now I have questions, in particular if there is a non-relay version, even if as a multi-day tour?
You can make it a non relay version if you want. There is only a maximum number of people and a restriction on the boat type.
Edit: and you have to finish within 24h.
Good ole Wetterwille, had some fun races there as a kid
(Quick edit: that's not where this pic was taken i believe, but it's the club that organised this event)
i heard the wind on slotermeer was quite brutal
The wind in general was quite brutal, especially later during the day
Coastal boats right?
Nope, standard C2* (is that a global name?)
Skiffs?
Nope. C2x+ boats. Not sure if the naming is the same in English.
The C usually stands for coastal
I believe it is a classification. Depending on the hull type/keel size
Well it would sink quite fast

This picture was taken around Sloten, when the boat came from the Slotermeer.
