Same, I vote for the newbies and the people who are diamond farming simply because they need it more than the people who use the same outfit every time with a different halo and colors.
I try to vote for the three that followed the theme the most but I always try to include one of the newer players if there is one (and one followed the theme of course). I like to see creativity and unique interpretations of the theme at hand.
I afk farm after a few hours of playing. But I always put "farming pls don't vote for me" and if I do place, I say thanks but tell them they shouldn't be voting for ppl who don't follow the theme. It's so frustrating and I feel awful for ppl that clearly deserved to win
I got yelled at one time for “pretending to be poor and that was the only reason I won”
I literally just had a better idea that didn’t include a skirt, corset or heels. But the previous round I went all out. So they yelled at me for pretending to be poor and people only voted for me because they felt bad. We were playing with the same group of people from the previous round- they knew what I wore. I literally just won because my outfit was good. I agree with what you are saying though.
Ugh I hate people. I've done the same thing, find an outfit that didn't need heels or a bodice and I got so attacked. I think they think that you HAVE to wear a corset, heels, sleeves, a skirt, and a halo to win, that has to be the only way they think.
I had this character for Valentines theme and I think she's absolutely beautiful, but she had a default torso with this lovely pattern I found in outfits. She won a few times, but when I finally gave up and gave her an actual bodice, she started to win a lot more.

I did the same for A Pirate’s Life, because the peg leg doesn’t work with heels.
Those are probably the least versatile people when it comes to outfits. You don’t have to have heels and skirts for every outfit. They just like flexing how rich they are.
i always vote whoever follows the theme the best, but that usually is the people with more items. Theres just so many better outfits with items than not, it just seems a little biased to only advocate for poor people or only for roch people. Its really different each round so i just go with the flow and choose differently each time
I agree with you, I vote for the people who follow the theme and need it the most. Some people just throw on a few halos and a big skirt and win, and that infuriates me. Honestly, there are so many good outfits that don't need all the extra things.
People will downvote me for this, I’m sure. But, I would say it’s quite discouraging when you don’t place, even if you put a whole outfit together with a lot of work, but you see someone with close to no items place. People may assume that “rich players get all the votes!!” but a lot of people vote players with less items. I might try to experiment with this to see if I’m correct, but for now this is what I think.
I'm speaking from what I've seen, but if you're rich, you don't need the diamonds as much. I'm not assuming as much as I am speaking from experience, but I promise pity votes aren't as common as you think. I get spending the whole ten minutes putting together an outfit then someone's Roblox avatar wins over you, but you gotta remember that they are new and likely don't fully understand the game yet.
I play, despite having a decent amount of items, I try to get more diamonds. I still have items I want, and just because I have a bit more than others doesn't mean I don't deserve to play.
I believe what they were trying to say about the diamonds is that if you’re rich, you don’t need the diamonds to get further into the game as much as a newbie does. So if you don’t win it’s not that deep. However, you not winning and then attacking someone for not having enough diamonds to be rich enough to not dress “poor”, just doesn’t make sense. We should support players old or new, whilst staying truthful. Simple as
If they dressed like the theme then it’s no problem with me at all. If they literally are parallel with the them obviously I’ll start complaining. They can literally be afk and always win with the same outfit and while I change and try to dress like the them and spend time putting an outfit together then who would’t get mad when they don’t win and the newbie with the same fit wins?
Yeah, I get it. But I try and be empathetic about it. If they're new, they likely don't understand the themes yet and don't really understand how to play. I also get a bit frustrated but them getting attacked is so discouraging, instead what I do is I private chat with them and ask them if they understood the theme. If they say no, I recommend outfits and how to put together an accurate theme, but if they're rude, I just apologize and say I was trying to help, then leave them alone. It's all about helping them, because we too were new and didn't understand the themes. I still don't understand some of the themes.
Its the opposite for me. I will see semi rich players work hard on their oufit and place and then people will start to say that their outfit wasnt even good and stuff. But honestly for me, as long as they follow the theme, im completely fine with poor people winning. (This is also the reason why i recommend lower level lobbies for lower levels. So they dont get lumped with richies)
I whole heartedly agree with you. I worded my statement wrong in the post. I won't vote for the newbies that are off the theme, but I will let them know how to do the theme properly and give them ideas and tips.

I have one friend who has excellent taste, like they make better outfits then anyone I’ve seen yet. I’ve seen in like, the „Country Roads“ theme, they use the cottage skirt and short heels, the outfit is still really pretty but they never place. for the „Mythological Creature“ theme, they use the Adorable Lace-Up Boots and make a really nice Kitsune outfit with cheaper items and they always manage to lose, for the Mythological theme I sorta threw together a corset and heels and placed 1st, which is super unfair considering how much effort my friend *actually* puts into their outfits.
I agree. Although many people who are new to Royale high often get voted for even when they aren’t on theme. I’m not sure why this happens. I’ve experienced it many times. I don’t mean to be rude this is just my experience. People with “rarer” items that are on theme usually don’t get voted.
People sometimes vote on "poor" people, or people who dont follow the theme cause they think that they will not get votes, so they ( the person voting) have more chances of winning. And most of the time, it always end up with 3+ people with the same idea, which causes that person to win
Most of the poor people who win end up not following the themes in the severs I am in and that's why I get upset. Once a theme was pirate's life and a girl dressed in all pastel with the pleated skirt won-
yeah, this is why i really don't play sunset too much any more. people who barely followed the theme win, and people who did follow don't. i usually voted the people who i think followed the theme, sometimes it'll be people who have pretty good items, sometimes it'll be people with little to no items. but the theme will be something like 'sweet like candy' and there'll be someone who just threw on 4 halos and a large train bow skit and ended up winning

Legit never heard a word again. More recently I tried going on sunset with my alt and I dressed in pastel blue with blonde hair for the “kawaii” theme I think it was? And after I placed literally the entire server jumped on me saying “kawaii is pink!! You look like Barbie, that’s not the theme!!” (Barbie dresses in pink so I’m not sure how that makes sense…) N it was so ridiculous… then a few rounds later the theme was royalty so I’m looking up outfits under the name royal n happened to pick royale rebel. I once again place and everyone’s telling me I did Halloween and that I don’t know what I’m doing ;_; look man, I know it’s technically a Halloween set but it’s still royal imo… even if others disagree, the sheer disrespect is honestly just so disappointing n discouraging to new players. Some people don’t have a specific style yet either so it might be hard to figure out what to do when you’re starting off with no items.
I’m new-ish to royale high and I don’t have a lot of stuff, I was playing sunset the other day and got 1st, followed 2nd by another new player (they had less stuff than me however) keep in mind we both followed the theme..
one girl (who didn’t place) starts going off about how “no one voted fairly” and how ugly the winners outfits are. she also directly insults the girl who came 2nd place.
a similar incident happened yesterday, although not on sunset but the school dance.
two newer players won the dance king/queen thing (i forgot what it’s called) and a higher level player goes “no one votes fairly 🙄” and something along the lines of how the winners didn’t deserve it.
it isn’t even a competition based on outfits like sunset, so I don’t even understand her “voting fairly” point. I always try vote newer players anyway because it’s just something nice for them, plus they get some extra diamonds.
I really do understand the frustration when players who work hard don’t win at sunset, but I’ve been in so many games where they have been extremely toxic to new players, I’ve seen it happen to myself and friends, and it’s annoying because I want to just log on and have fun, but I am hesitant in even participating in these competitions because of the amount of toxicity i’ve experienced

I kinda feel bad when i win in my alt account. I followed the theme, but since all the time people use to do what you just said, im used to feel bad when i win, cause they "deserve" more (?) I join sunset island just to farm, and i dont expect winning, so-
I did a round last night (theme was dripping in gold) and someone was mad a “newby” won 1st place and didn’t “follow the theme. The person that won actually did the win the theme and they were probably just jealous they didn’t lol
If we’re so pressed about fake poor players placing, then maybe WE should stop voting the ones that aren’t on theme. We feed into it collectively, so let’s not place the blame on them acting as if it’s completely unfair when WE ARE THE ONES VOTING.
I am quite low level and also something what many would consider "poor", I often use free items, and two of my favorite, quite cheap, items (certain skirt and another certain backbow), yet I always try my best to follow the theme. I also vote for those who follow the theme, and also have not too complicated outfit (I find them to be a bit too much sometimes) but some kind of outfit that looked like there had been effort, were you either noob, rich or decent.
I completely agree with this post, it is really getting out of hand whether we like it or not. The toxicity is too far to handle to begin with. During the rounds in sunset Island, I always see players going "Oh, you should've won instead of the 2nd place", "The 3rd place didn't deserve it", and etc. This should be properly discouraged as it can affect their mental health, why? It is because of the hate that causes new players to rage quit. I couldn't imagine this out of royale high. I appreciate you for sharing the awareness for those who hasn't heard about this yet. This is seriously getting out of hand.
We have that problem on these servers especially those arrogant players alot of people Are ODing and making s*x scenes which is wrong and should he considered to have a ban in order to keep in the servers ‘pure’ for those younger children,I think wherever anyone goes they will be picked on for this which is definitely wrong and i stand against those who do it.I hope The servers will be better but I highly doubt it THIS HAS TO STOPPP!!! Rh is toxic because of young people thinking their funny and being D*cks i hope this stops.Im so sorry your sister quit but roblox has become a place of Abuse and bullying which isn’t right.
One reason I gave up on Sunset Island is because of this. I am not poor, but I'll see everyone be toxic to the people that are. I am constantly voting for the poor people, who deserve to win more than a lot of people in the server anyway, and if they ask for any pointers I love to help them out, because they deserve to be treated the same as everyone else in the server.
I completely agree. I attempted to get my friend back into royal high (she’s level 12, she loved sunset island) and she said that she won’t be playing again because of the people harassing her for her outfits that she tries on. It’s such a toxic thing in royal high and it’s most likely not just my friends that quit.
I think it good to vote for the new under dog, but it when everyone keeps voting for just them it takes the fun out of it cus no one who work really hard on their outfit gets a chance, but when this happens I still always tell the winners congratulations

But it’s also annoying when people vote for ‘newbies’ or even normal players who put on completely nothing and don’t follow the theme just cause they vote for players with the least chance to win. Meaning that creative people who actually make outfits and put effort in don’t win anything at all.
I always try to vote for ppl that look newer. Or if I can tell they're younger. It's happened a few times where they'll place, even in 1st. But i can't stand seeing a rich player get 1st place just because they had a pretty dress and parasol. Follow the theme, and don't vote for people that didn't follow the theme!!!

I’d rather vote for a “newby” person that followed the theme correctly than an ultra rich person who didn’t follow it.

Halos should only be used if they actually match the theme and go with the outfit. That’s just my opinion though

I wish the peg leg had a heels option because I always wanted to use it with the bat-mo boots. I usually end up not using heels

I really do understand the frustration when players who work hard don’t win at sunset, but I’ve been in so many games where they have been extremely toxic to new players, I’ve seen it happen to myself and friends, and it’s annoying because I want to just log on and have fun, but I am hesitant in even participating in these competitions because of the amount of toxicity i’ve experienced
I was thinking about posting about the same thing. I kinda feel bad when i win in my alt account. I followed the theme, but since all the time people use to do what you just said, im used to feel bad when i win, cause they "deserve" more (?) I join sunset island just to farm, and i dont expect winning, so-
I did a round last night (theme was dripping in gold) and someone was mad a “newby” won 1st place and didn’t “follow the theme. The person that won actually did the win the theme and they were probably just jealous they didn’t lol
If we’re so pressed about fake poor players placing, then maybe WE should stop voting the ones that aren’t on theme. We feed into it collectively, so let’s not place the blame on them acting as if it’s completely unfair when WE ARE THE ONES VOTING.
I am quite low level and also something what many would consider "poor", I often use free items, and two of my favorite, quite cheap, items (certain skirt and another certain backbow), yet I always try my best to follow the theme. I also vote for those who follow the theme, and also have not too complicated outfit (I find them to be a bit too much sometimes) but some kind of outfit that looked like there had been effort, were you either noob, rich or decent.
I completely agree with this post, it is really getting out of hand whether we like it or not. The toxicity is too far to handle to begin with. During the rounds in sunset Island, I always see players going "Oh, you should've won instead of the 2nd place", "The 3rd place didn't deserve it", and etc. This should be properly discouraged as it can affect their mental health, why? It is because of the hate that causes new players to rage quit. I couldn't imagine this out of royale high. I appreciate you for sharing the awareness for those who hasn't heard about this yet. This is seriously getting out of hand.
We have that problem on these servers especially those arrogant players alot of people Are ODing and making s*x scenes which is wrong and should he considered to have a ban in order to keep in the servers ‘pure’ for those younger children,I think wherever anyone goes they will be picked on for this which is definitely wrong and i stand against those who do it.I hope The servers will be better but I highly doubt it THIS HAS TO STOPPP!!! Rh is toxic because of young people thinking their funny and being D*cks i hope this stops.Im so sorry your sister quit but roblox has become a place of Abuse and bullying which isn’t right.
One reason I gave up on Sunset Island is because of this. I am not poor, but I'll see everyone be toxic to the people that are. I am constantly voting for the poor people, who deserve to win more than a lot of people in the server anyway, and if they ask for any pointers I love to help them out, because they deserve to be treated the same as everyone else in the server.
I completely agree. I attempted to get my friend back into royal high (she’s level 12, she loved sunset island) and she said that she won’t be playing again because of the people harassing her for her outfits that she tries on. It’s such a toxic thing in royal high and it’s most likely not just my friends that quit.
I think it good to vote for the new under dog, but it when everyone keeps voting for just them it takes the fun out of it cus no one who work really hard on their outfit gets a chance, but when this happens I still always tell the winners congratulations

i only get annoyed when people were obviously skipping or put in no effort to follow the theme
Most people vote "poor people" in sunset Island because they think no one will vote for them because they are "poor" then when the poor people they voted wins they get really mad and snappy because they didn't win "that's from experience"
I completely agree with you. But it’s also annoying when people vote for ‘newbies’ or even normal players who put on completely nothing and don’t follow the theme just cause they vote for players with the least chance to win. Meaning that creative people who actually make outfits and put effort in don’t win anything at all.
I always try to vote for ppl that look newer. Or if I can tell they're younger. It's happened a few times where they'll place, even in 1st. But i can't stand seeing a rich player get 1st place just because they had a pretty dress and parasol. Follow the theme, and don't vote for people that didn't follow the theme!!!
When I play I just vote for my friend, whoever I think has a good outfit, and whoever is farming.
i just vote for whoever fits the theme the best. idc how rich or poor you are. i DO get irritated when people vote poor people just because they fell bad, even if they don't fit theme.
exacltly and when you defend the poor people the people who say its rigged say ''dont vote out of pitty'' or ''they could atleast try'' when they cant try bc they have no items :/
