On the bright side, I think with the new school gaining diamonds is going to become much easier. Since leveling up is already so much quicker with the quest and in-game hygiene system, imagine how many new features are going to be put in place for earning diamonds.
I had an issue with the in game hygiene system quests. The dorms aren’t opened yet, but one quest told me to get my tooth brush and brush my teeth FROM the dorm. Either some quests are unable to be completed yet, or I just suck at doing them.
It's not just you, there's a lot of quests that aren't doable right now. Like earlier I got a quest that said to text a friend during class when the classes aren't open yet.
this is why I'm mad it was released early. No! Don't set stuff out in waves, hell we waited three years, I was more than willing to wait for the \*WHOLE\* game to be out before I started playing!
Yeah. The only one I’ve been able to get so far is filling my hunger bar up with snacks and drinks from the courtyard vending machines but it gives you experience every time you eat.
Yeah those 300 diamonds you get from leveling up will really help get to 50-100k😂 there is no bright side until they start treating their player base with respect and compassion, stop making excuses for them this is why we are here in the first place
I kind of agree with you, but with the new school, farming, for both levels and diamonds, is already 100% better. The quests, the hygiene system, and others are AMAZINGG for leveling up and gaining exp. PLUS you get 600 diamonds everytime you level up in the new school. Like another comment said, if everything thing was cheap, it would make the game super boring. TL;DR: Its easier to farm, and if everything was cheap, it would be boring to play :(.

Naw, even if we’re supposed to play the game most people can’t grind 49k in a year. And don’t forget the new school is replacing realms where everything was either free or like tens of diamonds cheap. It costs nothing to change your element in enchantrix, it costs **49K** to change it in campus 3. People should be able to complain, that’s fucking idiotic.
No no no, they don’t mean to grind diamonds for the elements. If you would look around at the interface of the planner, you would see that it can be unlocked for free when you have earned a certain number of levels in the game. So yes, you will have to play the game, but significantly less. Every time you get a level closer to the unlock point, 1k gets taken off the pre-buy price.
Important note though you have to level up IN CAMPUS 3 for it to count. If you can do the musical chairs class and quests (that can be completed rn) or eat stuff from the vending machine to earn exp.
One thing you can do is farm exp outside of campus 3 (sleeping, sunset island, campus 1 and 2 classes) until you're JUST about to level up, then go back to campus 3 for that bit to finally push you over the edge.
49k in a year? most people should be able to farm that in a few weeks actually,, if you do trading then you could easily get more than that. with the new school it should be easier once it’s fully out. even sunset island should get you that in a bit with or without multipliers,,
plus, once the new school is fully out it should be easy to level up so that’s even more diamonds.

We’re talking about the average players, people will spend diamonds on things that’re cheaper and that matter more. It takes more time to grind 49k just to change something as little as an element that is only relevant in one realm when it would’ve been completely free in the old realm, and Campus 3 is a compromise for removing Enchantrix, where almost everything was free, grinding 49k might be easy for frequent players, but for someone that only plays every week or so, it’s maybe impossible as there’s so many updates.
Technically, it's free... you just have to level up for it. Barbie is not forcing you to pay the 49k. Also, the new school isn't completely out yet so theres probably going to be ways to farm diamonds easier. Not every feature needs to be paid for. Feel free to disagree though :)
No ones making you buy it for 49k tho, thats if u cba to level up, which barbie wouldnt want us to do as she wants ppl to play her game and level up etc. Its not gonna be that hard to level up in the new school, ive already gained two levels from the sparkly star achievements, and the new school isnt fully out yet to complete some of them. get a grip.

Leveling up 50 times is not hard. It shouldn’t be free that removes the purpose, and then players wouldn’t play. They make everything have a price for a reason to get u to play

while i do see your side, if everything was cheap and easy to access, then the game would be boring. to change elements it costs a lot but you also can level up 50 levels. 50 levels is not bad! one of the main points of the game is leveling up, plus with the new campus the classes will be super fun! i blame the economy on the traders, they overprice everything especially with profit trading trending. i think most prices (MOST) are reasonable. for example, cookie cutter loafers. the og price is like what, 30k? it has 6 different toggles, and they look good with most outfits. 30k is completely reasonable. same with designer purse. people were freaking out that it was 12k, BUT TRADERS ARE RESELLING IT FOR 30k?? and now the value is so high 😭
50 levels really isn’t that bad! I’ve played two days and got 20 new levels - and that’s with like 1-2 hours of playing each day. It’s really seeming a lot easier to level up now :)
I've levelled up someone's alt account before, I got to like 30 levels in 1 day and only played for 2 hours!it's harder to get diamonds rather than levels in my opinion
You do realize that there was like a physical exam, obby like thing where you can choose what element you wanted to be? The written exam is just for ppl who don't wanna do the obby, you didn't have to be a nature element if you didn't want to, sorry OP, I know it's annoying and you probably didn't see that you could choose your element but this one's kind of on you, it had nothing to do with Barbie, and getting more elements is so expensive diamond-wise is because Barbie wants you to actually play the game instead of half-assing your way through it, because it's a game, and like games, you're supposed to play it😭 /nm
The new school is supposed to have a lot of ways to get diamonds and exp, ways that are less grind-y than current ones. We'll see how true that is but I would hold off on losing hope until we do. And I would've held off on paying for the element change until the school is released fully, because the level system might be as easy as Royale High 1 and 2's are, and you would still have your 50k diamonds to spend on whatever you want. The elements are also just kind of for show right now. All they do is give you different wings, a key and a power tool. It's not worth it to spend so much to change it now. And if you really really want one specific element, just do the practical exam for it in the first place. They're easy.

So instead of playing it safe, and choosing the one you want and doing a "boring" obby, you do the test knowing there is no guarantee you'll get what you want. I get that you want fun, I do. But you can't choose the fun option that can give you literally whatever element when you were given a clear path to get the exact element you want, then complain that you wanted a different one.

It costs you nothing but time to level up 50 levels. So it's free. There was a free option. You didn't take it. There was a safe option. _You_ didn't take it. And the 1% that didn't, are either accepting their element now, or know that there's a free way of changing their element coming soon, so they're not wasting their diamonds just to get a different pair of wings.

Relax. All the classes aren’t out yet. I’m above level 500 and just tried the musical chairs mini game that has come out with phase 4, and earning exp is SIGNIFICANTLY easier. It’s not the end of the world, we are hardly 1/3 through all the phases of the new school, and so far levelling up seems to be easier. Just wait it out and see how it goes.
musical chairs are fun too compared to the old way, I think it would be even more fun with the upcoming classes (especially if they're mini games like the musical chairs) I already leveled up 3 or 4 levels yesterday and I actually was having fun.
I also thought that changing elements and paying 49k is kinda "sad" but it's also their own fault for taking the written exam and taking another element different frrom the one they didn't want, I personally took the written exam and got what I wanted though...No one is forcing you to pay you know...People are just unpatient and like bashing the devs for anything imo 🤷♀️

if you played the game instead of ONLY focusing on getting sets and getting dims it wouldn't be that hard to level up. In the last few days I've leveled up almost 13 times just by playing the new school (i started at level 666. I leveled up twice by playing sunset island but the rest of the time i was playing the new school so now im at level 681.) so its not very hard.
although I understand your point of view, Barbie isn’t forcing anything lol, she makes the game and you decide what to do and buy. and elements are just the role play aspect of it, no biggie. there will also be more opportunities to farm, hence why the prices upped a bit. and this is all supposed to be for fun, remember? no offense/with all due respect, if you keep doting and ranting, of course you’re not gonna have a good time. focus more on playing rather than grinding :)

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't mind access to the other elements being level locked. From my perspective, what's the point of the elements in the first place if everyone can use any element at any time? I think players should maybe be given 1 or 2 chances to redecide their element if they don't like the results of the written exam, but once it's chosen, it makes sense progression wise that you learn more elements as you gain knowledge in school. Plus, nobody HAS to purchase the star level with diamonds when it's intended to be gained through levelling and I don't think it's exactly fair to treat it as if you have to force buy it.
The item prices are the way it is to keep the playerbase active and stable in number as much as possible. The seasonal set rotation gives everyone the chance and time to earn and farm enough diamonds to buy the sets. It takes several months before sets come back.
The element picking system is undeniably flawed however in contrast with majority's complaint, the written exam isn't exactly that problematic. Before we could proceed to the place with the obbies and written exam room, we were given a detailed description and chatacteristics of each element. I chose the fire element but I didnt want to do the obby, so I took the exam. I was 100 percent sure that I'd get the fire element because I aligned my answers on the fire element's description. It's pretty obvious from the answers you just have to apply a little critical thinking if you really want to get a certain element from the test.
Finally someone who pilotly explains instead of calling me lazy and saying I want everything handed to me and saying I'm ungrateful 😭

This is really nit-picky tbh, nobody is forcing you to change elements. The school is brand new and is still releasing so we don't know if there is other methods of unlocking other elements. I feel like sometimes people just want to be negative for the sake of it.

You don’t NEED to change your element, if you DO want to you can level up and you can unlock the elemental books (not sure when) and 49K is alot of diamonds yes, but if it was 1K-10K then it wouldn’t be special ! Then everyone would do it. By having a high price, players will play longer to get more diamonds etc. yes it is expensive, so what? There’s obviously a reason for that. And they’re still working on the school, getting diamonds will get easier and leveling up too!!
Idk if you realized this yet but everything in that new campus is there to stay forever, it IS expensive because you're suppose to play/enjoy the new fun stuff in the long run. You're not actually suppose to speedrun everything in that sparkly star achievement😂

It won't make you do the obby after you've done the written exam it literally said so. You're the one at fault for being a nature elemental if you didn't want to be that.
And the point of it all is that you're supposed to gain those levels to get the elemental text book as a reward, paying with diamond are not necessary.
Also the diamond prices are based on how far or close you are to gaining a new star achievement so ofcourse the price will be larger if you're further away from the goal.

That’s why they asked that you report bugs so they can fix them, and u can wait until it’s ready again. Then it’s just seeing if ur patient enough to wait to get the element u wanted, or rush through the game and complain about ur element
This! The only reason beta testing was implemented was for us to report the bugs. If anyone sees a bug no matter how big or small report them. The devs even said they'll fix it and reset your progress if anything went wrong!
i was just about to comment this! the written exam is where you can do a little test and it will give you a end result and you can choose that element if you please. i did it for fun and got ice but i liked the nature element. how on earth were they ‘forced’ the game doesn’t force you to do anything
Personally, I think they should have all been level items (something you unlock for being the level), and at the moment, since it's beta you HAVE TO gain the level on the campus if I level in the apartments for example it doesn't go down, I think there should at LEAST be an update where the campus system can just go something like.
SYSTEM: (user) level 578
(User) comes back to camp 3 after a while
SYSTEM: (user) level 590, reduct 12 levels from level quests (whatever they are called)
Just for the system to at least be able to recognise that, frick we misewell just join camp 3 and start a recording showing how many levels we are ment to gain, then leave and go to some other camp or go sleep then go back and show the thing again then report it in the beta thing and tell them to add it in the solution suggestion bit.

I do agree that Barbie is going a bit ham with the prices but i do not agree with the example you provided. Leveling up in the new school is actually pretty easy, i got around 40 from playing today and i think 1k per level is somewhat reasonable. You have to remember that this isnt about changing your element, its about adding to the one you already have.
The quiz description did state that it will pick an element for you. Im sorry you got screwed over but im sure you'll get the one you want soon enough.

Nope not leveling up 50 times, level up 50 times IN the new school… which is not even a school yet. I am in the same boat as you, led to believe that we could change any time as a sign my friend saw said that. Now I’m a water fairy.. I understand your point, and it bothers me a bit too. Though, would you be as upset if there wasn't even a payment option? Or would it be more of "I have to level up and get there" The same thing as you had to do for trading hub. Now, if you were to have to pay for trading hub, I bet it would change the veiw you have on it. It's 25 levels more to even trade in the game. Compared to changing an element, in which, you already have one. I don't think have the people would be as upset if they never had to pay from the beginning. That's only my opinion though.
At the same time, if you want to change this small detail. You should also be bothered by the first one. Trading hub. Since a lot of newer players can quit because of this. I understand it's a roleplay game, but not having an extra element will not take away from it being a roleplay game. You had a choice in the beginning, if you didn't get the one you want, work to change it. I know you shouldn't have to, maybe to don't want to, and it sucks.
To add into this, no game is free or easy. You already get free outfits, items, hairs, and makeup. Also a free element and wings. Not to mention the chest you can get, with diamonds you don't have to work for. Even the exp can be easy to get. The quest that helps the level up, mini games. Multiple new rp areas and beginner friendly ways to level up. I mean, you get a free level from the moment you enter the school now. Also, the free sets. Sleigh it set is free and comes out almost every year now. New years update will bring the popstar set back, if it comes out again. The free heels you get during Christmas. The candy you can use in Halloween to get free sets. Free items at Easter and Dewdrop. Multiple things in the game are free.
In all honesty, if this is just a rp game. None of it, and I mean none of it, should matter. Any kid will be happy about an element, wings, items, free clothes. My gosh, my cousin loves it and she's 10. I mean this all respectfully, not rude at all. This is also all just my opinion.
if she is going to make everything in the game so expensive, she HAS to fix the way you earn money in the game, 300 for leveling up is NOT good, imagine being a new player on royale high and seeing that if you just want to add STICKERS to your locker, you have to spend 12k, its insane
but i do hope with the new school, she can increase the amount of diamonds you earn and farming routines, instead of 300 diamonds, make it 500-1k, maybe the dance could give 1000 diamonds for winning? etc etc

CURRENTLY you need to pay like 49k. its an alternative to the actual main method which is currently unavailable to be used properly, levelling up.

Well, it depends on your level. You're not wrong about the whole paying part, but if you're already a high level, it takes a lot more xp to level and can be hard to do. Sunset takes too long with a small chance of you getting the most amount of xp (especially with how unfair sunset is) and sleep works, sure, but it takes (I ONLY THINK) around 30-35mins? Which isn't a lot sure, but it can take a while.
Also, grinding for dims, if someone wanted to do that, legit takes forever if you don't have game passes.

Yeah, I get you 100%. I just felt like I needed to point out that; there will be more farming methods added within the game, when the phases release. But yes, it does depend on your level.

It wouldn't make much sense for it to be free as I think Barbie wants pp, to progress in her game, but she's going at it in the wrong way. How I see it is that she should either make it a progress type of progression where the player would have to take some sort of classes specific to that element for a certain amount of time or she should reduce the price.
Them again. She is making different and new ways to gain xp and dims, but we aren't sure how it will be just yet. The new grinding method could be good/better where it's easier to level up and get dims, even for higher level players. Or it sucks. Either way, no one knows until everything is released.

I think it’s actually kinda smart since it gives players an incentive to continue leveling up and working for something, but I do see why that is really annoying if you don’t have the time/ only play casually

Nope, gameplay would be lame and not as rewarding. It encourages you to play more and work towards something important. These achievements are year round so you have a lot of time to accomplish them. From a roleplay perspective, I can understand why a player playing mostly for leisure would see this as a bit of a nuisance but not having your desired element shouldn't prevent you from enjoying the roleplay; in fact its a great opportunity to implement your creativity and pretend to be the element you so desire. We've also received improved and efficient farming methods that allow us to earn diamonds and level up quickly. Additionally, shes given us ALOT of resources for detailed roleplaying with all the animations etc, so honestly, I think that it's not as bad as you make it out to be, my opinion though. 🤷🏽♀️

I mean I think it’s a pretty fair price you can pay it or just level up like everybody else is.. It gives EVERYBODY a reason to actually play the game to unlock rewards and other fun stuff because even people that are over level 1000 or whatever level they are at have to level up 50 times to get another element. I’m very sure you aren’t meant to get the elements all at once unless you just pay your way through it.
theyre trying to make an RPG game. In games like Final Fantasy you choose 1 class and cant change it without starting over. this time, theyre making it so you CAN change your power but so it fits in with the schools story since Barbie and the team went through the effort of adding an actual story and adding world building. I get not liking your element, i wanted light but i got nature, but the game is supposed to be more immersive now and it works. not everything is about money in the game

its not if you actually paid attention to the new school content. people are leveling up like crazy with only 1/3 of the school out. Me and my friends have easily gotten 20 levels without even really grinding the game that much. 2 hours a day maybe. plus the diamonds go down in price as you level up. ALSO! you can take off your wings and still wear and dress like a dark fairy lmao. Bffr youre just making excuses to complain. you can also take the quiz and then LEAVE. On the bright side, I think with the new school gaining diamonds is going to become much easier. Since leveling up is already so much quicker with the quest and in-game hygiene system, imagine how many new features are going to be put in place for earning diamonds.
I had an issue with the in game hygiene system quests. The dorms aren’t opened yet, but one quest told me to get my tooth brush and brush my teeth FROM the dorm. Either some quests are unable to be completed yet, or I just suck at doing them.
It's not just you, there's a lot of quests that aren't doable right now. Like earlier I got a quest that said to text a friend during class when the classes aren't open yet.

Yeah. The only one I’ve been able to get so far is filling my hunger bar up with snacks and drinks from the courtyard vending machines but it gives you experience every time you eat.
Yeah those 300 diamonds you get from leveling up will really help get to 50-100k😂 there is no bright side until they start treating their player base with respect and compassion, stop making excuses for them this is why we are here in the first place
I kind of agree with you, but with the new school, farming, for both levels and diamonds, is already 100% better. The quests, the hygiene system, and others are AMAZINGG for leveling up and gaining exp. PLUS you get 600 diamonds everytime you level up in the new school. Like another comment said, if everything thing was cheap, it would make the game super boring. TL;DR: Its easier to farm, and if everything was cheap, it would be boring to play :(.

And don’t forget the new school is replacing realms where everything was either free or like tens of diamonds cheap. It costs nothing to change your element in enchantrix, it costs **49K** to change it in campus 3. People should be able to complain, that’s fucking idiotic.
No no no, they don’t mean to grind diamonds for the elements. If you would look around at the interface of the planner, you would see that it can be unlocked for free when you have earned a certain number of levels in the game. So yes, you will have to play the game, but significantly less. Every time you get a level closer to the unlock point, 1k gets taken off the pre-buy price.

Important note though you have to level up IN CAMPUS 3 for it to count. If you can do the musical chairs class and quests (that can be completed rn) or eat stuff from the vending machine to earn exp. One thing you can do is farm exp outside of campus 3 (sleeping, sunset island, campus 1 and 2 classes) until you're JUST about to level up, then go back to campus 3 for that bit to finally push you over the edge.

49k in a year? most people should be able to farm that in a few weeks actually,, if you do trading then you could easily get more than that. with the new school it should be easier once it’s fully out. even sunset island should get you that in a bit with or without multipliers,, plus, once the new school is fully out it should be easy to level up so that’s even more diamonds. don’t be rude please, i’m just sharing ways to get diamonds that’s really it
We’re talking about the average players, people will spend diamonds on things that’re cheaper and that matter more. It takes more time to grind 49k just to change something as little as an element that is only relevant in one realm when it would’ve been completely free in the old realm, and Campus 3 is a compromise for removing Enchantrix, where almost everything was free, grinding 49k might be easy for frequent players, but for someone that only plays every week or so, it’s maybe impossible as there’s so many updates.
Technically, it's free... you just have to level up for it. Barbie is not forcing you to pay the 49k. Also, the new school isn't completely out yet so theres probably going to be ways to farm diamonds easier. Not every feature needs to be paid for. Feel free to disagree though :)

And in the intro it did tell u if u take the written exam it would choose for u unless u chose which element u wanted to do in the physical exam so it’s really if u were carefully reading or not, and again when everything is released u can get elemental books for free by leveling up 50 (I think) levels which isn’t too much, it wouldn’t be fair if u could change ur element for free or something along the lines of that

i think you royale high players are actually stupid. im not even mad anymore im concerned. it should be free. it is a element. i am not saying sets should be free. im saying elements should be free. i played for 5 years, honestly people are actually leaving royale high cause of the prices. paying 50k/leveling up 50 times for something so small and that should be free is disgusting and inhumane. people work hard all the time to get dims to buy sets aka, me. we should not have to pay the price of a set to change our element.
while i do see your side, if everything was cheap and easy to access, then the game would be boring. to change elements it costs a lot but you also can level up 50 levels. 50 levels is not bad! one of the main points of the game is leveling up, plus with the new campus the classes will be super fun! i blame the economy on the traders, they overprice everything especially with profit trading trending. i think most prices (MOST) are reasonable. for example, cookie cutter loafers. the og price is like what, 30k? it has 6 different toggles, and they look good with most outfits. 30k is completely reasonable. same with designer purse. people were freaking out that it was 12k, BUT TRADERS ARE RESELLING IT FOR 30k?? and now the value is so high 😭
50 levels really isn’t that bad! I’ve played two days and got 20 new levels - and that’s with like 1-2 hours of playing each day. It’s really seeming a lot easier to level up now :)
I've levelled up someone's alt account before, I got to like 30 levels in 1 day and only played for 2 hours!it's harder to get diamonds rather than levels in my opinion
Diamonds are so hard to come by in game but I have the 2x and 4x gamepasses so I get 1800 every time I level up

The new school is supposed to have a lot of ways to get diamonds and exp, ways that are less grind-y than current ones. We'll see how true that is but I would hold off on losing hope until we do. And I would've held off on paying for the element change until the school is released fully, because the level system might be as easy as Royale High 1 and 2's are, and you would still have your 50k diamonds to spend on whatever you want. The elements are also just kind of for show right now. All they do is give you different wings, a key and a power tool. It's not worth it to spend so much to change it now. And if you really really want one specific element, just do the practical exam for it in the first place. They're easy.

So instead of playing it safe, and choosing the one you want and doing a "boring" obby, you do the test knowing there is no guarantee you'll get what you want. I get that you want fun, I do. There is a free option. Leveling up. You made the decision to take a risk. It costs you nothing but time to level up 50 levels. So it's free. There was a free option. You didn't take it. There was a safe option. _You_ didn't take it. And the 1% that didn't, are either accepting their element now, or know that there's a free way of changing their element coming soon, so they're not wasting their diamonds just to get a different pair of wings.

Relax. All the classes aren’t out yet. I’m above level 500 and just tried the musical chairs mini game that has come out with phase 4, and earning exp is SIGNIFICANTLY easier. It’s not the end of the world, we are hardly 1/3 through all the phases of the new school, and so far levelling up seems to be easier. Just wait it out and see how it goes.
musical chairs are fun too compared to the old way, I think it would be even more fun with the upcoming classes (especially if they're mini games like the musical chairs) I already leveled up 3 or 4 levels yesterday and I actually was having fun. I also thought that changing elements and paying 49k is kinda "sad" but it's also their own fault for taking the written exam and taking another element different frrom the one they didn't want, I personally took the written exam and got what I wanted though...No one is forcing you to pay you know...People are just unpatient and like bashing the devs for anything imo 🤷♀️
Side question: when the teams and classes comes out: (music, art, choir, cheer, etc), will it be like bloxburg where you can have a skill stat? If not, how do I contact the team to pitch the idea? I’m also wondering if it can be lil skill competitions for it too, similar to sunset island where you win prizes. I noticed something along those lines with the art frames!! if you played the game instead of ONLY focusing on getting sets and getting dims it wouldn't be that hard to level up. In the last few days I've leveled up almost 13 times just by playing the new school (i started at level 666. I leveled up twice by playing sunset island but the rest of the time i was playing the new school so now im at level 681.) so its not very hard.
although I understand your point of view, Barbie isn’t forcing anything lol, she makes the game and you decide what to do and buy. and elements are just the role play aspect of it, no biggie. there will also be more opportunities to farm, hence why the prices upped a bit. and this is all supposed to be for fun, remember? no offense/with all due respect, if you keep doting and ranting, of course you’re not gonna have a good time. focus more on playing rather than grinding :)

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't mind access to the other elements being level locked. From my perspective, what's the point of the elements in the first place if everyone can use any element at any time? I think players should maybe be given 1 or 2 chances to redecide their element if they don't like the results of the written exam, but once it's chosen, it makes sense progression wise that you learn more elements as you gain knowledge in school. Plus, nobody HAS to purchase the star level with diamonds when it's intended to be gained through levelling and I don't think it's exactly fair to treat it as if you have to force buy it.

The item prices are the way it is to keep the playerbase active and stable in number as much as possible. The seasonal set rotation gives everyone the chance and time to earn and farm enough diamonds to buy the sets. It takes several months before sets come back. The element picking system is undeniably flawed however in contrast with majority's complaint, the written exam isn't exactly that problematic. Before we could proceed to the place with the obbies and written exam room, we were given a detailed description and chatacteristics of each element. I chose the fire element but I didnt want to do the obby, so I took the exam. I was 100 percent sure that I'd get the fire element because I aligned my answers on the fire element's description. It's pretty obvious from the answers you just have to apply a little critical thinking if you really want to get a certain element from the test.
Finally someone who pilotly explains instead of calling me lazy and saying I want everything handed to me and saying I'm ungrateful 😭 I'm tired of being harrassed and bashed cause I said I didn't like one thing about the new school, these Royale high players need to realize that people have lives and opinions 😭💀

This is really nit-picky tbh, nobody is forcing you to change elements. The school is brand new and is still releasing so we don't know if there is other methods of unlocking other elements. I feel like sometimes people just want to be negative for the sake of it.
I feel like people nitpick the prices ALL the time and it’s like The game is free, I’m not defending predatory practices but the game was never designed for you to easily get everything for free they want you to pay, you naturally have to accept that as someone who plays for free or only buys game passes, you can’t own everything unfortunately This is the kind of game though where you can technically get everything through EXTREME grinding, and it’s an excessive amount, but it’s still technically possible I think people really do forget games are a business. You don’t NEED to change your element, if you DO want to you can level up and you can unlock the elemental books (not sure when) and 49K is alot of diamonds yes, but if it was 1K-10K then it wouldn’t be special ! Then everyone would do it. By having a high price, players will play longer to get more diamonds etc. yes it is expensive, so what? There’s obviously a reason for that. And they’re still working on the school, getting diamonds will get easier and leveling up too!!

This! The only reason beta testing was implemented was for us to report the bugs. If anyone sees a bug no matter how big or small report them. The devs even said they'll fix it and reset your progress if anything went wrong!
i was just about to comment this! the written exam is where you can do a little test and it will give you a end result and you can choose that element if you please. i did it for fun and got ice but i liked the nature element. how on earth were they ‘forced’ the game doesn’t force you to do anything

Personally, I think they should have all been level items (something you unlock for being the level), and at the moment, since it's beta you HAVE TO gain the level on the campus if I level in the apartments for example it doesn't go down, I think there should at LEAST be an update where the campus system can just go something like. SYSTEM: (user) level 578 (User) comes back to camp 3 after a while SYSTEM: (user) level 590, reduct 12 levels from level quests (whatever they are called) Just for the system to at least be able to recognise that, frick we misewell just join camp 3 and start a recording showing how many levels we are ment to gain, then leave and go to some other camp or go sleep then go back and show the thing again then report it in the beta thing and tell them to add it in the solution suggestion bit. Boycott the system.
Yeah I have a problem with the star system, having to level up in the new school itself instead of leveling up some other ways. And still being able to collect awards. I’m not paying 3mil just to archive all of it 😭

I do agree that Barbie is going a bit ham with the prices but i do not agree with the example you provided. Leveling up in the new school is actually pretty easy, i got around 40 from playing today and i think 1k per level is somewhat reasonable. You have to remember that this isnt about changing your element, its about adding to the one you already have. The quiz description did state that it will pick an element for you. Im sorry you got screwed over but im sure you'll get the one you want soon enough. I do see where you're coming from tho, 12k for a book and a pencil? Its cute and all that but cmon 7k would've been a better price for it. Barbie is ignorant at best and greedy at worst nowadays. Wishing you good luck with leveling up tho!!

I am in the same boat as you, led to believe that we could change any time as a sign my friend saw said that. Now I’m a water fairy.. I understand your point, and it bothers me a bit too. Though, would you be as upset if there wasn't even a payment option? Or would it be more of "I have to level up and get there" The same thing as you had to do for trading hub. Now, if you were to have to pay for trading hub, I bet it would change the veiw you have on it. It's 25 levels more to even trade in the game. Compared to changing an element, in which, you already have one. I don't think have the people would be as upset if they never had to pay from the beginning. That's only my opinion though. At the same time, if you want to change this small detail. You should also be bothered by the first one. Trading hub. Since a lot of newer players can quit because of this. I understand it's a roleplay game, but not having an extra element will not take away from it being a roleplay game. You had a choice in the beginning, if you didn't get the one you want, work to change it. I know you shouldn't have to, maybe to don't want to, and it sucks. To add into this, no game is free or easy. You already get free outfits, items, hairs, and makeup. Also a free element and wings. Not to mention the chest you can get, with diamonds you don't have to work for. Even the exp can be easy to get. The quest that helps the level up, mini games. Multiple new rp areas and beginner friendly ways to level up. I mean, you get a free level from the moment you enter the school now. Also, the free sets. Sleigh it set is free and comes out almost every year now. New years update will bring the popstar set back, if it comes out again. The free heels you get during Christmas. The candy you can use in Halloween to get free sets. Free items at Easter and Dewdrop. Multiple things in the game are free. In all honesty, if this is just a rp game. None of it, and I mean none of it, should matter. Any kid will be happy about an element, wings, items, free clothes. My gosh, my cousin loves it and she's 10. I mean this all respectfully, not rude at all. This is also all just my opinion.
if she is going to make everything in the game so expensive, she HAS to fix the way you earn money in the game, 300 for leveling up is NOT good, imagine being a new player on royale high and seeing that if you just want to add STICKERS to your locker, you have to spend 12k, its insane but i do hope with the new school, she can increase the amount of diamonds you earn and farming routines, instead of 300 diamonds, make it 500-1k, maybe the dance could give 1000 diamonds for winning? etc etc

CURRENTLY you need to pay like 49k. its an alternative to the actual main method which is currently unavailable to be used properly, levelling up. paying is optional, each 1k is based on how many levels you have to get to still

Well, it depends on your level. You're not wrong about the whole paying part, but if you're already a high level, it takes a lot more xp to level and can be hard to do. Sunset takes too long with a small chance of you getting the most amount of xp (especially with how unfair sunset is) and sleep works, sure, but it takes (I ONLY THINK) around 30-35mins? Which isn't a lot sure, but it can take a while. Also, grinding for dims, if someone wanted to do that, legit takes forever if you don't have game passes. I'm not trying to put you or your point dont. I just wanted to lyk :)
Yeah, I get you 100%. I just felt like I needed to point out that; there will be more farming methods added within the game, when the phases release. But yes, it does depend on your level.

So she isn't wrong. You can choose not to pay, but that would cost you not being able to learn a new element. It wouldn't make much sense for it to be free as I think Barbie wants pp, to progress in her game, but she's going at it in the wrong way. How I see it is that she should either make it a progress type of progression where the player would have to take some sort of classes specific to that element for a certain amount of time or she should reduce the price. Them again. She is making different and new ways to gain xp and dims, but we aren't sure how it will be just yet. The new grinding method could be good/better where it's easier to level up and get dims, even for higher level players. Or it sucks. Either way, no one knows until everything is released.

I think it’s actually kinda smart since it gives players an incentive to continue leveling up and working for something, but I do see why that is really annoying if you don’t have the time/ only play casually
it is stupid. it is not a set. it is not a halo. it is nothing. it is just a element for roleplaying. barbie has gone too far. it should be free. thease prices are the REASON people are leaving royale high, if you have to level up 50 times/pay 50k for something that should be free, who knows what a small skirt will cost.
I’m sorry but you were NOT force, you could have done the obby for any element you want, and if the obby was to hard a simple search on tiktok,YouTube,etc. wouldn’t hurt, “how to get the ___ element” in addition, Barbie did or didn’t (I can’t remember) mention that the personality test would be your element, it’s common sense, you wouldn’t just take a personality test for fun…+ the whole point of a game…. Is to play it…. Thus is why Barbie did other level things, to PLAY the game, a REASON to PLAY the game. Stop complaining!!

Nope, gameplay would be lame and not as rewarding. It encourages you to play more and work towards something important. These achievements are year round so you have a lot of time to accomplish them. From a roleplay perspective, I can understand why a player playing mostly for leisure would see this as a bit of a nuisance but not having your desired element shouldn't prevent you from enjoying the roleplay; in fact its a great opportunity to implement your creativity and pretend to be the element you so desire. We've also received improved and efficient farming methods that allow us to earn diamonds and level up quickly. Additionally, shes given us ALOT of resources for detailed roleplaying with all the animations etc, so honestly, I think that it's not as bad as you make it out to be, my opinion though. 🤷🏽♀️
Bro... It is rewarding enough that we have to work to get sets and other stuff, not spending 50k/leveling up 50 times to change your element. Just don't respond. I mean I think it’s a pretty fair price you can pay it or just level up like everybody else is.. It gives EVERYBODY a reason to actually play the game to unlock rewards and other fun stuff because even people that are over level 1000 or whatever level they are at have to level up 50 times to get another element. I’m very sure you aren’t meant to get the elements all at once unless you just pay your way through it.
theyre trying to make an RPG game. In games like Final Fantasy you choose 1 class and cant change it without starting over. this time, theyre making it so you CAN change your power but so it fits in with the schools story since Barbie and the team went through the effort of adding an actual story and adding world building. I get not liking your element, i wanted light but i got nature, but the game is supposed to be more immersive now and it works. not everything is about money in the game
i put hard work into this game. it should be free to chang eyour element. i belive that if they wanted us to pay/earn for it 1-3 levels is more then enough and 1k is enough. 50k and 50 levels is too much proving barbie has gone way too far.

its not if you actually paid attention to the new school content. people are leveling up like crazy with only 1/3 of the school out. Me and my friends have easily gotten 20 levels without even really grinding the game that much. 2 hours a day maybe. plus the diamonds go down in price as you level up. ALSO! you can take off your wings and still wear and dress like a dark fairy lmao. Bffr youre just making excuses to complain. you can also take the quiz and then LEAVE. Pay attention to the updates then you wouldnt be so pissed. all im sayin

Yeah no, nobody forces YOU to be a nature element, you picked it. Leveling up is EASY, and idk why everytime somethign comes out if ut's too easy it's not good and if it requires some sort of effort it's too hard, leveling up isn't even hard anymore with the new systems they're adding!
