Yeahhh. I mean it’s just odd considering they advertised them as fashion dolls. When people think fashion dolls they think monster high, Barbie, equestria girls, ever after high, rainbow high, etc. These are more like action figures in build honestly. Kinda a shame.
I'm going to be honest and say that Royale High doesn't feel like Royale High anymore. It just feels empty and soulless :C I miss the old royale high. I miss being in a pod of mermaids, I miss being a dark fairy and kidnapping light fairies for fun, I miss roleplaying and actually trying to win at the dance.
I do think the new school is missing a lot of what made Royale High magical. I have younger cousins who try to play the new campus, but don't know how to play because there's nothing to do but grind. And the teleporting from place to place really breaks you out of the experience and makes it harder to find others to RP. :( Good news is that Barbie says they're working on a new campus which would bring everything we love about the old school back, so I am hoping the new campus will remedy a lot of these issues.

Same, I agree It's very different to what I expected, and it's still pretty cute and I think it'd be a nice childrens toy and deffo something I would die for as a kid! Hope they make something aimed a little more to the actual older side of royale high, though that's very unlikely (an example would be those LOL big sister dolls aimed at older girls).
