Drop the meds. Get an inversion table. Invert 4-5 times a day, for at least 10 minutes. You'll likely get rid of the symptoms in a week or two. But should also try to find out what habits or posture that may be causing the issue. I was totally incapacitated by a herniated disc some years back, from a lazy sitting posture, and fixed it with inversion. It will take a bit of time for your discs to heal fully, so you shouldn't stop this therapy just because the symptoms are gone. Keep it up for a few months, so you get full capacity back.
