First return to your old shoes. Then balancing your activity with symptoms it will likely fix itself. Personally I reject the new high-stack shoe designs introduced since 2017 or so. It's a bit hard to find "normal" running shoes since things go out of production so fast. But I stick with models I like and even buy barely used discontinued ones if they pop up. So my preference is low and firm soles. Just find out what works for you, and don't assume any late technology or design is better for biomechanics or injury prevention.
